Parrapups, or Parras, are an omnivorous, aviary quadrupedal species that originated from tropical areas, but after they were domesticated, they gained more levels of fur and different beaks. All parras spend a lot of time cleaning themselves, and preening their feathers if they have wings. Parras come with a variety of tails and beaks, but good luck finding one that does! Having a large gene pool Parras also have the chance to show some mutations. They come in a large variety of colors including bright neons and dull greys. All parras are a very social in some way and love to whistle, sing, and chatter to others- Parra or not!

what he thinks about the sun: Memphis enjoys the sun for the warmth and light that it provides. He'll admittedly say that he relishes the silver light of the moon as well, but he likes both equally. Without the sun there would be no moonlight at night, and without the day there would be no night. Both are of equal importance. He thinks that the best times of the day are sunrise and sunset, as they are the transition between the day and night. As the sun rises, it brings the meaning and hope of a new start along with a new day.
Memphis loves traveling next to the coast in Summer, especially if he is able to hitch a ride in a human's convertible. Being next to the blue ocean under the sun, feeling the rush of wind through his fur is paradise. When the sun sets, that only signifies the beginning of a new adventure. As night arrives, the stars in the sky are like millions of diamonds scattered across a deep blue blanket. And of course, all of this happens in Summer, when the warmth of the sun remains even through the night.
There's only one thing that Memphis hates about the sun, and that's when it's so scorching hot outside you can bake a batch cookies under the sun. At those times he just wants to dive in a pit of ice or hide inside one of those cold box things that humans use to store food - what are they called... refrigerators?

Angus does not mind the sun that much. Sure, Angus
likes the sun for its warmth, its light... It's just that
it gets in his eyes when he's trying to sleep. He's more
of a night owl. Angus seems to prefer the moon. He
enjoys walking outside at night, into the cold grass, to
stare at that big orb nestled between all those stars. It's
very pretty to look at, and very calming. And that's the thing.
Can you admire the sun and all its beauty? No, you'll just
hurt your eyes. But the moon is entirely different. Angus
has loved the moon since he was a young Parra.

Name Meaning ;; Derived from the name Sol Indiges, of the one of the two sun gods in Roman mythology. Sol Indiges was a relatively unimportant god, however, and resurfaced only in New Rome as Sol Invictus. This Parra is named Sol, with his middle name honoring the old god and the last name honoring the new one.

Parra's song : This is his song, primarily because he's a flirty rebellious sort of parra- though it's not talked about much in his liking of the sun.

What does this Parra think about the sun ?

Ironically Sol isn't a large fan of the sun. When born into the Invictus family, it's said that the first male parra born onto them shall bear the weight of worshipping the forgotten solar gods. Sol blatantly rejected the burden his family placed upon him, and as soon as he was old enough he moved out and forgot about them completely.

Because of this he's always been more of a night owl than anything, and he tends to revel more in the sight of the moon than the sun. However it's not as if he hates the sun entirely. He loves it, though not as much as the moon. Why you may ask, does Sol love the sun when it caused him so much grief as a child? Well it reminds him of his family, who despite putting stress on his shoulders- loved and nurtured him as a child. It's also a symbol of his namesake, who despite being some great roman god Sol was supposed to worship- Sol was still his name regardless of where it came from.

Sol may despise the association, but he still admires the sun's beauty, strength and overall light- no not the light you're thinking of, but the light that the sun shone on his life. It pushed him to leave the house early, and despite missing his family he's convinced had he staid he would've never left.

To summarize, Sol has a love hate relationship with the sun.
