Zora loves just about everything in summer, she is a very cheerful and excitable Kia, but why should you hear it from me? Let her tell you all about what she loves most.

That one special thing about summer? Think me odd but the bugs! Oh, how I love to see the butterflies and fireflies come out and the bees pollinate! Bees you ask? They are rather harmless, you know. Now I can't say I'm to thrilled about the Mosquitos that fly about, but why focus on the negatives! Falling asleep to the beautiful music of the crickets is one of the few things I love about them, so harmonious! And how bees and such pollinate the flowers and make them bloom! I just love it! Oh, I almost forgot about the rolly polys! They are so adorable and when they curl up into a tiny little ball and it allows me to mess with them! Now do you understand why they are my absolute favorite thing about summer? <3

Favorite thing about summer: On the island of Oahu, Hawaii, Coal spends her summer days swimming with the dolphins and enjoying the water in general. With beautiful blue beaches, Coal can't help but spend every day of her summer hanging out with her dolphin buddies and exploring the deep waters. Sometimes, her dolphin friends help her back to shore when she gets lost. Favourite Thing About Summer
Hiking through the great forests that surround his home near Lake Superior, Michi tracks animals, photographs, or just walks along the winding trails and enjoy the incredible state he was named after. The light shines through the emerald trees in golden splotches, lighting up the forest floor around him. The beavers watch him with curiosity as the build thier dam, and the bird sing him a melody as he strolls under their trees. An occasional Wolverine will snarl at him and scamper off, beady eyes shining through the brush. When at the water's edge, Fish make their way through the crystal clear lake, only shooting off when a red paw disrupts the shimmering blue. When Michigan is in these woods, he is always reminded why this state call itself Pure Michigan: because the beauty and wonder that most people never dream of Michigan having, is purely magical.

Everything about summer is fascinating for Aleu. Having lived in Siberia most of her life, Aleu only knew the warmth of summer to be at its peak at around 65 degrees. She finds the summer heat fascinating and glorious, and adores the sun with every scrap of her being. She has a weird fascination for cold drinks and popsicles. She finds many of her peers' obsessions with swimming, partying, or surfing to be odd, and instead prefers strolls through the woods and sitting in the park, popsicle in her paw. She loves hot days, even quite uncomfortably hot, simply because she never got to experience such a thing. Some say she's odd, but Aleu is Aleu, and she holds her head high through the weird looks and continues to love the sweltering heat of her current place of residence.

The sound of the typewriter was the only noise besides the song of the birds outside. She looked up from her work and sighed, the open window letting in the cool breeze as spring's sickly sweet enchantment ebbed from the air, summer’s heat replacing it.

She took a break from her writing and watched the sunset, the evening star blinking back at her. She remembered how her father had told her how the stars thought everyone was beautiful and unique, that’s why they'd wink back.
Her attention focused to the figure running towards the house, eyes widening as a grin split her expression.

She rushed downstairs and grabbed the kiddie pool, a running joke between the two friends. Besides, she already knew he had brought the blankets and map.

The two laughed as they set up the 'bed', excitedly chirping about the full moon and shooting stars.

Marcus took out a pen, looking for any new stars, the cherry trees placing petals on his lap. "When we're shooting stars, promise me you’ll teach me how to waltz," She asked, basking in the light of their bond. “I promise,” He said, shoving her shoulder.

Sadly, his time came early in a motorcycle accident. Even though it had been hard, Alicky had continued writing her book; not realising how she had weaved stars and warm summer nights into her drama.The fantasy she never had.

But I guess that's why she loves summer.

It was the times that she shared under those stars, when they sailed overhead in the sea of deep blue, with true friendship sparking as brightly as those dying eyes she'd seen in the hospital ward, already knowing that she'd see them tonight; winking back at her.
