[b]Flower: The canna flower is also called the canna lily is a tropical/subtropical flower but originated from America. They can be eaten in multiple ways such as: rhizomes for starch, stems and foliage for animal fodder, young shoots as a vegetable, and young seeds as an addition to tortillas. The seeds are also used as beads in jewelry and in two instruments called kayamb and hosho. Fibers from the stem are used to make paper and the flowers are also used as potted ornamental plants. When you burn the leaves the smoke they produce make insects leave and you can make a purple dye from the seeds. The cannas are used to rid pollutants from wetlands. Kadvael likes these flowers for their beauty and for their multi-purpose ways that help people in every way.
