no, just kidding! I'm not a character from one of my books! I love to read and write fiction stories about normal, everyday people, going on adventures and saving someone's life. I have made that my job. As an author, I get to recreate the scenes in my head from the stories I wrote and read to my little sister, Fae, when we were younger. I love my job and wouldn't exchange it for anything else in the world.
What's that?
I have to describe myself?
Well, I guess I can give it a go. I have a huge imagination, and that and my books sometimes get in the way of my social life. But I still manage to get out and go to parties and such every once in a while! I'm not antisocial, I just like to talk about books more than real life. Also, if someone insults my family, or hurts someone I know and care for, I can get into quite the lecture. I just talk and talk and talk, and most of the time they get the message; "Don't hurt my friends."
Also, another thing. I've never been on a date before. First, let me explain. Don't judge. I just can't flirt! Everything I say comes out wrong around pretty girls, and most of the time I just blush, mumble something about being late, and flee the scene. It's awful to say the least. I just hope that one in a million girl will realize who I really am, one day.

Bennett and his father have a rather difficult relationship. Sebastian has always doted on Fae as his favorite child, Bennett thinks because she's blind. Since Seb is blind too, he knows the difficulties of not being able to see. Seb wants her to have the best life she can have. Now, Bennett doesn't mind this too much, because he loves Fae too. In fact, Benny is the one who took care of Fae until she was old enough to make her own decisions. It's just the way his father treats him like he isn't there when Fae is around. When Fae is off somewhere, Sebastian and Bennett get along quite well. Benny feels conflicted about his father, but he can understand his father's actions...
"Dad!" Benny whined. His father Sebastian, was busy taking care of Fae, and wouldn't let Benny get close enough to help. Sebastian ignored Benny's pleas. Again, Benny tried to get his father's attention. "Dad, can't you, Fae, and I go outside and play?" he asked, pleadingly. Seb was curt as he told his son, "No, Fae has had enough play time today. Why don't you go play by yourself?" Benny sighed and left the room, looking back at his beloved sister who he loved with all his heart, and his dad, who loved the little boy, deep in his heart.
Needless to say, their relationship has gotten quite a lot better than when Benny and Fae were little. He and his father sometimes get into quiet arguments, but they are extremely fond of each other, and Benny now knows why Seb was always taking care of Fae and ignoring him. It's not that his dad loved Fae more, it's just that Fae needed Seb more.
