Christopher.
Christopher is a name which has a biblical meaning - though, it's rather funny for this Deerssert is anything
but innocent due to his mischievous personality.


Chris - Mainly just a shortened name since his full name can get a bit of a mouth full and a tongue tier.
Chrissy - A nickname that his friends normally call him. He hates this name which is the reason why his
friend's use it - just to get on his nerves.


Though some may think of this Deerssert as Female, I personally cannot see him as being anything
other than a male.


Chris has not yet figured out exactly what sexuality he has mainly due to his lack of experience with
either other males or females, though at current he sees himself as bisexual due to his past
crushes on both genders.

Weather you know Christopher or not, you've probably heard about him in games of Chinese whispers around
the local village for he had grown a reputation, and not a positive one - but that is mainly due to people
over exaggerate. When you first meet Christopher, you'll find him as a cheeky, sarcastic, witty, and
somewhat humorous individual - the embodiment of the boy parents try to keep their daughters away
from. If you catch him in a happy mood, you'll see him with a beautiful and cheeky smile on his face which
can make both man and woman alike to fall for him. He will hum and laugh at almost any joke that he hears,
weather it be a good one or bad. The other thing you'll notice is that he will have a spring in his step and
will prance around with confidence without a care in the world. If you catch him when he is upset, however,
you'll notice a distinct change. He will not laugh, though if he does it will be fake. He will not smile as
brightly as he would be if he was cheerier. The prance would have disappeared. He will tend to be
reclusive, keep to himself, want nothing but solitude from everyone regardless if they were a friend
or family member. One thing I suggest you do not do is anger him, unless you're ready for a storm of
hurtful words and in rare cases physical pain. He is hot-headed and short tempered and so it's fairly
easy to anger Christopher, though he tries his best to calm himself down. As of lately, he's gotten
better at controlling it for if he knows he is getting angered he will walk away from the situation until
he had calmed down. Though, if you persisted you'll see that he has a mouth of a sailor and a sarcastic
edge to his words and will tend to mock the other in order to belittle them. Rarely does he lash out at them,
though - he isn't normally one for violence. Whenever he is embarrassed, you'll find that side of him that
you'll rarely see. He will tend to be apologetic and stutter with his words as he fiddles with his hands with
a blush on his cheeks. It's mostly when he is around the ones he likes that he shows this side of him for
he tends to think of it as a negative emotion to feel and show. Around those who he loves and cares
for, he can be protective of them. He will always be by their side and try to get them out of trouble
even if it means him taking the blame. He will try his hardest to make them laugh or smile when
they feel down, to hold them and tell them words of comfort whenever they are crying, and even
though they may fight or bicker, he will tend to let it go over his head for he values his friendships
more than a grudge. Overall, he is someone who at first seems to be a trouble maker without
a care in the world about anyone else other than himself, but once you get to know him, you'll find
that he cares dearly for those around him and will try to not leave them out and include them in anything
he does all the while trying to keep their spirits up even when they're having a bad day.

Blue- This is mainly due to it being the colour of the sea - which is something he loves to visit
weather to swim or to just get away from the stresses the day can bring.

Summer - The reason being is because he prefers the warmer weather over the colder ones since
he is an extrovert and likes to go out to hang with friends or to go to the beach - and in the
colder months, less people tend to want to go out and to be seen at the beach in such a season
will surely give you a few odd looks here and there.
>>Time Killer/Hobby:
One thing that Chris loves to do is to swim, especially in the seas and oceans on a nice summer's
day. He prefers the seas and oceans to pools for they are vast, giving him more length to swim in.
>>Food:
Graham Crackers has to be one of his favourite foods. Since they are made in smores, one of his
favourite snacks, he simply loves the taste for without them, smores wouldn't taste the same.

Cayo Hueso was the original name for the island of Key West. It translates to "Bone Cay." Ever since Cayo Hueso was young, everyone has called him by his surname. He thought that "Hueso" sounds more hardcore. However, the people closest to Hueso, such as his family and dearest friends, do indeed call him Cayo. You know if he ever says 'just call me Cayo!' that he thinks very highly of you and considers you a good friend.

So... why does Hueso have the tail of a shark? Truth be told, no one knows. As an infant, he was found washed ashore on a beach in a small fishing village. He was all tied up in fishing nets and nearly dead. The town made a collective effort to save the baby deerssert, and as he grew up he came to see the whole world as his family, since he didn't have a true family of his own. It wasn't a bad outlook on life. Despite the dark, sharkish smile he willing to treat anyone and everyone as an equal as long as they return the favor for him, all because it was an entire town who took him in - all of those townspeople with different religions, identities, lifestyles, and so he never grew up learning to hate or judge others.

As a young adult deerssert, he lives in a shipwreck under the sea, not far from the shore. When the months get colder, he migrates around to find warmer weather, but he always returns to his home. His life is more aquatic than terrestrial, but even so, his deer shape makes him worse of a swimmer than the average sea creature. On land he is hardly better off - his tail makes for some awkward running. So at a young age, he decided to (aside from his yearly migrations south) live a sedentary lifestyle. He lounges around on the beach most of the day, enjoying the sand and the surf. It is easier and more enjoyable to live a sloth's life than to attempt to live a more exciting one either in the ocean or the wilderness where his delicious body would make him a target for bigger predators. He likes to use that as an excuse when people ask why he loves sleeping. But the truth is, he's just lazy.

He makes a lot of tourist friends. He doesn't have the dislike for tourists that most natives do, simply because through tourists he is able to experience the world. He absolutely hates travelling beyond his warm weather chasing. Other countries? Who needs them! He is living in paradise right now! So when other deersserts stop at his beach for vacation, he is glad to converse with them.

↳ Hueso is lazy; he would rather lay around than do anything else. He doesn't enjoy being active for long periods. If he doesn't take a nap every day he can be vicious and grumpy.

↳ Hueso doesn't get worked up about anything. He is very easy going and doesn't have a care in the world.

↳ Hueso is not judgmental of others for any reason. Many of his friends are very bad people but he doesn't look at them any differently than his goody-two-shoes friends. Similarly, he is blind to differences in sexuality or gender identity or species - sometimes a little insensitive in his indifference.

↳ Hueso is usually happy. Nothing bothers him. He's comfortable with himself and doesn't let others get him down. When people try to start drama with him he just laughs and walks away. He would rather ignore you and take a nap in the sun then fight.

↳ Hueso sometimes has trouble sympathizing with others who don't handle drama and stress as well as he does. If someone is upset about something he tends to have an "oh cheer up already" attitude. He thinks life is too short to worry about negative things.

↳ Hueso is sometimes a bit predatory. If he senses you are weaker then him, he can be a bit of a bully. He does it in a way that he thinks is friendly but in reality his teasing can be a little heartless.

↳ Hueso never really opens up to anyone. Even though he is social, he tends to keep personal things to himself. He is friends with everyone but the friendships tend to be fleeting and shallow.

↳ Hueso believes the meaning of life is to enjoy yourself and to love being alive, at any and all costs. He doesn't really have a conscience. He does whatever he wants in order to live life to the fullest.

• Laertes
  Hueso and Laertes are good friends, mostly because Hueso's favorite pastime is laying around and enjoying the sun, and Laertes has no problem doing that at his side. Laertes doesn't need to be entertained and doesn't really believe in small talk, so the two of them can comfortably enjoy each other's company. They're also both pretty social, so Hueso is someone that Laertes can go to parties with (unlike Zagreus, who would rather stay home). While they are friends, they don't necessarily get along; their biggest difference is that Hueso has no morals whereas Laertes very much does - so sometimes Laertes fusses with him over the decisions he makes and things he does. Hueso just ignores him, like he does with everyone and everything he disagrees with, and sometimes Laertes gets genuinely frustrated and questions their friendship.
  
• Zagreus
  Hueso is really fond of Zagreus, although he shows it in a backwards way - by teasing him incessantly. He can tell that Zagreus is weaker than him, and is an easy target. He doesn't want to hurt Zagreus, but he just can't stop himself. He does it affectionately, although obviously from Zagreus's point of view it just comes off as mean. Zagreus genuinely cannot stand him. Whenever he knows that Hueso is coming he makes a great effort to avoid him, which actually irritates Hueso because he doesn't feel like he's doing anything more than just playing around. He's probably one of the only people that doesn't think Zagreus's morbid hobbies are any weirder than anyone else's, but that hardly matters because he's sarcastic or mocking about everything else he does.
  
• Rie
  Hueso thinks Rie is adorable in her naivety, but the same trait prevents them from being good friends. He can spend time in her company, but her ditzy behavior and simple mind can wear on him a bit. She's someone he would definitely rather go take a nap than have a conversation with. He just doesn't have the energy to keep up with her bubbly personality and clumsiness.
  
• Avanti
  Avanti flirts constantly with Hueso, batting her eyelashes and using her charm like she does with all the males. Hueso is decidedly uninterested though. The more she flirts, the more he gives it no mind, and the more determined she is to win him over. He likes her well enough, in a completely friendly way, and he thinks her desperation is completely hilarious, but he just doesn't think her flirting is attractive in the slightest.

Dreams and Goals:
Crush is still pretty young, and just learning to pull his own weight after his parents decided to make him go to college. His first choice was automatically somewhere by the coast, to pursue his dreams of becoming a professional surfer. He doesn't honestly know where he picked up the dream in the first place, he's been working for it for as long as he can remember. His parents, however, don't care much for his surfing. They want him to get as good an education as he can, and then learn to surf. Crush is learning how to balance the two, as well as keep up a part-time job as a waiter in a local beachside restaurant.
