I see this little one as patient and critical, not unlike some older siblings. Perhaps they would be the one in a hot situation who remains cool; the one who looks around and thinks, what needs to be done? They offer their advice(mostly criticism) to anyone who will hear it. Most people find it patronizing. They don't care, as long as someone will listen. They have a strong desire to be seen as helpful and kind by others, but is actually quite insincere and jaded in nature.

Despite this, they have a secret interest in adventuring and will perch on your shoulder rather than sneak in a pocket so as to better view their surroundings. They love the thrill of discovery, of knowing something no one else does. While they enjoy independence, most of the time they will begrudgingly accept your help if it is offered.

She is very quiet. She is reclusive most of the day, hiding in the den I had created for her in the yard. In the winter, though, when it's cold, you can find her hiding in cozy places in my house such as the sock drawer, or in a bunched up blanket. She is cautious around new people, and is still quite cautious around me, though I feel like she will warm up to me eventually... When she is frustrated, she'll flick her wings and tail irritably. I'll find her many days out in the garden, hiding under the rhododendrons, watching the world go past with alert eyes. She notices many of the things that occur on our property, and she is very attentive with her curious eyes. Once, towards the end of summer, she dropped a bright orange leaf at my foot, looking at me expectantly. Getting up, I followed her hovering, darting flight to an oak at the back of the property, whose leaves were already a festive orange-gold. Suprised, I turned to look at her, but she was gone. This just shows more of her quietness because all that was left was that leaf she held in her mouth. I've also found her watching the cats next door with bright, curious eyes. I try to warn her that they may not be friendly, but she doesn't seem to listen, and goes over the fence anyways. I always look over, and there she is, evading the capture of the cats with a delicate grace I've never seen before. Grinning, I pulled myself onto the fence and watched her tease the cats for a few minutes, before they lost interest and padded off. She turned, and when she saw me, puffed up indignantly.She was rather embarrassed whenever someone caught her doing something foolish or remotely playful. I guess it's part of her nature. She promptly went and slept for the rest of the day after her little outing, which leads me to believe she chooses to be active for small amounts of time.

I instantly imagined her personality to be rather cheeky and sublime, the one who silently sits behind your ear and shoots out smart comments of wisdom to passers by, often these unsuspecting passers take the comments as your own and hit you back with snide remarks, while you desperately try to paw off the offending comment by shoving a cute ball of fluff in their faces. That is if Serrets had mouths to speak/communicate (I'm unsure if they do have a way of verbally communicating, perhaps telepathy?).
Even so this gal would use her body posture to full effect depicting a range of emotions, she definitely has no trouble expressing her opinions on the world, or her beloved friends. She'd be the type to snuggle up in the crook of your neck, or in the pouch of a Bean to sneakily hear or intrude upon your daily activities, her sublime thoughts easily picking out a variety of choice "postures" to commune her "teachings" at the end of the day. Being a mischievous little fluff she'd engage in all sorts of annoying pranks, mainly ones involving the relocation of precious or needed items, my Bean Strider's shades being a favorite target.
Overall she's a pesky little so and so but a critter well worth having hidden in your collar, while she's a pain in the rear she can be very useful for decision making and asking for help, she'll stand by your side no matter what and is great when stuck in a pickle.
