least favorite thing about spring ; Josie's least favorite thing about spring is when the frogs begin to emerge from their winter burrows. In the late spring nights, she can hear there loud croaks fill the air from the nearby pond(s) and cringes from their sound. She doesn't like the frogs because of their slimy film and weirdly set eyes. As well as the way they puff out their chins and screech into the air. In general, frogs are her least favorite animal, too.

least favorite part of spring; dell is a tech savvy. she loves computers and works on them. but when spring and summer arrives, she is out and about, away from the bright, glowing screens! she loves summer especially, taking about an hour each day on the laptop. but what she hates is when kids stay in ALL summer on the computer, typing away! she thinks kids should get out and play, being a bit bossy with her neighborhood friends to get out of the house. delphi will always choose spring over a computer, and that's just the way she is!

to be when her red kite gets
stuck in a tree. Of course, she

Name: Lady. Yeah, it sounds ridiculously unoriginal. But I've come to like the thought of it as a name ever since I was given it as a "pseudo-name" by my welding teacher. I can't call it a nickname because he has literally never, in all the time I've been his student, called me anything other than "Lady," and that basically gave everyone else permission to do the same thing. It just sounds natural to me now, and I think it's pretty and graceful, though those terms do not fit me at all. Perhaps the second one, sometimes.... Just about anyone else in existence fits the title better than me, including this imaginary animal.

What she hates about spring: The noise. Spring is the beginning of new life, and thus the harbinger of a long year of noise. Birds, insects, animals large and small, they all make lots of noise come the year's fresh season. Too much sound all around her, overcoming her thoughts and making her head dizzy with confusion. Too much clamoring, too much commotion everywhere she looks; she isn't made to function in such conditions. This bean just wants some peace and quiet.
