Name: Lucas

Gender: Male

Personality 2 traits:

Lucas is a well-known extrovert. He loves to chatter to himself, but given the opportunity, he'd much rather talk your ear off. He spends a lot of time at social events and will occasionally follow random people around if they so much as glance in his direction when he's lonely. Much of his chatter is not particularly relevant to conversations that are going on around him and sometimes, in the event that he actually listens to what is going on around him, he'll be shocked at how off-topic he has gotten in comparison to everyone else in the room.
Lucas also tends to be a know-it-all. Rather than being curious about others and their feelings, he likes to try and apply his own reasoning to them. One of his very favorite phrases in such a case is, "Don't tell me, I already know exactly how you feel!" after which he will spout off some nonsensical explanation about emotions and thoughts that generally relate only to himself. When he is not telling others how they feel, he is found rapid-fire shooting off random facts that no one honestly cares to hear.

Does he like raccoons?

Lucas absolutely adores raccoons, but he also has a deep fear of them. The majority of his random know-it-all facts have something to do with raccoons, however, knowing that much about the little beasts also makes him uncomfortable around them. This discomfort was born the first time he came across one. It was only a kit, but since Luke was only a baby himself, the coon was bigger than him. He approached it excitedly and it lashed out at him in terror, biting his paw and refusing to let go. He had to be rescued by the raccoon's human caretaker and from that moment on he dedicated his life to learning as much as he could about the creature that attacked him. Now that he's older, he recognizes that it was his fault that he'd been bitten, but he still cannot completely trust raccoons and prefers to keep his distance when observing them.

Hobbies:

Despite his social preference, when he's alone he can read for hours at a time. The majority of these books are encyclopedias, hence where he gets a lot of his random facts. He can spend many hours scanning these encyclopedias for information that he doesn't already know about some of his favorite subjects.
Since he was not blessed with wings, he has discovered a love for mountain climbing. Luke loves to get as high in the air as possible and has even gone so far as to attempt to stow away on an airplane a few times. After several failed attempts he decided that climbing was the better option because he didn't get in trouble doing that. Over the years, he has gotten extremely nimble and can move around cliff sides almost as well as the mountain goats he tends to follow around when he gets lonely.

Biggest Dream:

Lucas wants more than anything to find a way to fly. Ever since he watched Captain America 2 and saw the winged jet-pack, he has dreamed of finding one for himself. He knows that it is extremely unlikely that he'll ever be able to get his paws on one since he knows they don't really exist, but he has recently begun doing research on flight in hopes of someday inventing them.

Come Listen to the Story of my People

My hatch day is one that many tell me they regret. You see, that day, the day I came into this world and graced my family with my presence was the day that they were inadequate... Nah, I'm just kiddin! My parents were super excited when I hatched. They raised me well and I never worried about being judged for who I was.
They named me Lucas, after an exceptional Parra they knew growing up and taught me that my thoughts and opinions were always valued, even if they were completely invalid or irrelevant. This helped me to grow into the parra that I am today. But enough of that 'look at how great I am' mumbo jumbo, instead, let me tell you about the day I met the raccoon for the first time...
I was approximately 13 months of age, carefree and playful the way most of my friends were. Man I loved to chase things. I was infinitely curious and I was just learning to speak, just a bit behind the others my same age in that aspect. Regardless, I could sure get my point across with a mix of garbled words, excited gestures, and loud chirps. Whenever I tried to speak, I would get even more excited and tended to wiggle a bit, lashing my tail a lot. Needless to say, looking back now it was not exactly surprising that my approach did not go over well with the kit.
The coon was just a baby still, a little over a year old like me, and big. Quite a decent size too, bigger than me anyway. I had heard about raccoons before. One of my friends had told me about the stripe-tailed creatures whose markings were similar to my own. Seeing one for myself was something I never could have prepared for.
Oh man, I was so happy! It was asleep in the hollow of an old tree, I just had to talk to it! So, with my tail lashing, I charged toward the hole, screeching and screaming out garbled words in hopes that it would hear me and wake up so I could talk to it. Yeah, it woke up alright. Did you know that raccoons can run about 24 km/h? That's fast okay. I thought I was moving quickly, but the raccoon was on its feet and had its teeth clamped around my left paw before I even really knew what had happened. I screeched and kicked, bit and shook trying to get it to let go. Finally my mom found me and she scooped the raccoon off of me, tossing it a short distance away and screeching at it when it shook its head and lunged toward me again.
This time it turned, snarled at my mom, and took off up the tree that it had been hiding in. My paw was bleeding, but after washing it we found out it wasn't that bad, just a few puncture wounds. I healed quickly thank goodness. I turned then to encyclopedias though, mom had a bunch of them that she'd scavenged over the years and I began scouring them for more information about raccoons. They're really cool creatures, but let me tell you, don't go waking them up from their afternoon nap. They don't like that very much at all!

Boop, reserve. May I ask when this ends so I know whether or not I'll have time to do a satisfactory job on my application? I've got finals in the next couple of weeks so I would hate to enter and then not have time to finish. This darling is beautiful, I wish I'd found him sooner so I'd for sure have enough time.

I'm not sure, I've got 3 ten page papers to finish before next week. It's alright though, I can just wait for another one when I actually have enough time to do a satisfactory job

Edit: You know what, I'm just gonna go for it. If I don't get done, then oh well, at least I did what I could.
