♛what is this kiamara's relationship with cats? does it own any?;; Princeton stalked down the street, lashing his tail side to side in an angry and frustrated fashion. His ears flicked in annoyance and his paws hit the ground roughly, creating loud echoes. Aggravated growls and snarls escaped his mouth along with foul remarks. The day had been disastrous to put it bluntly. His parents had flat out refused to allow him to volunteer to work at an animal shelter because it would be a 'waste of time' and 'wouldn't get him anywhere in life'.
Why don't they understand? All I've ever wanted to do is help animals in need! His eyes stung as tears threatened to escape his eyes. His pride would not allow him to cry in private let alone publicly!
'Meow' A feeble cry caught Princeton's attention and he spun around, his blue eyes flicking quickly to the left and right searching for the one who cried out.
At last his eyes landed on skinny kitten covered from nose to tail in a thick layer of ash, over-sized ember eyes stood out on her slim face. The kitten lay almost motionless on her side with the only movement being the shallow movement of her upper body. Raspy intakes of breaths could be heard as Princeton slowly approached, all of his anger replaced by worry and fear.
The kitten's half open eyes swung open at the sound of footsteps and she tried to pull herself up only to collapse to the ground with a thump.
"Shh" Princeton whispered as he neared her "I won't hurt you, I promise"
He examined her for any possible injuries and let out a breathe of relief when he saw not a single scratch, bite mark or any other form of injury.
The kitten lifted her head but it was obvious it caused much discomfort for her. Princeton nudged her gently with his nose, encouraging her to stand up but it was no use, she just wasn't strong enough.
When Princeton realised this he began to panic, she needed help and she need it fast. Without thinking he picked her up gently ignoring her yowls of protests and began to run. Run as fast he could.
Scenery whizzed past him in a twisted blur creating many illusions for the terrified kitten but she held on. Something in her knew that this Kiamara was trying to help her. However she was slowly slipping away, everything was too much.
Princeton came to a sudden stop in front of a brightly lit building with a sign labelled 'VETS' hanging from the side.
He barged in not caring to read the closed sign.
"I'm sorry but we-" The receptionist began but was cut off.
"I don't care! This is an emergency!" Princeton barked attracting the attention of the vet who ran towards him, taking the kitten off of him not even muttering a word.
"Miss are you-" The receptionist was cut off again much to her annoyance.
"Yes... This is an emergency" Doors were then slammed shut as the vet got to work

Princeton stalked back and forth for what seemed like a century, anxiety consumed him, almost eating away at him. Waiting for that door to open.
Finally the door opened and the vet walked slowly towards him with her head bowed.
"I'm sorry...There was nothing I could do..."
Shock.
Sorrow.
Anger.
Hatred.
He left.
Someone had done that to her and he would not forgive them.

With or without my parents approval.
I will not fail like everyone else.' ████████████████████████████████████████████████████████████████████
