''Are you a cat or a dog person?'' you ask. "Cat!" she exclaims, and you stupidly wonder why you asked that question, as a small kitten rubs against your leg with a purr. But there wasn't only one, there was more than ten. Possibly even double that. She gives a playful smirk at you as she sits down and holds the many kittens playing in the house, one playfighting another, and another one looking out and pawing at a window as a bird mocks it joyously. How could she keep track of them?

Aloisia loves cats. The young little felines she keeps in the house? Those are strays. All of them are well kept and happy; their fur felt like silk, but sadly abandoned by their parents. Her actions resembled those of a cat, not of behavior but more of a kind of endearing love. Her body language was her language, much like the creatures she kept around her, pawing and purring for love and attention. You could point to any one of her kittens and she could tell you his or her's life story. Most of them were treated like spoiled children: they even had their own room! You walk inside to see little beds and textures wallpaper; and a prissy Persian cat sitting upon her fluffy throne. "That's Miss Lilia," she tells you, as she follows happily behind, with a line of kittens following her like she was Mother Duck. You turn around and ask curiously, "Why do you like cats so much?"

She stares at you at laughs. "Isn't it obvious?" A moment of silence occurs, and you look at her clueless. "They are misunderstood."she finally answers, as she gestures to the books on her bookshelves. It sort of made sense that she did it for a cause as you see the number of toys strewn across the living room floor... She wasn't pestered by the mess they made. "People underestimate them. They think that they could care for themselves, and become frustrated when they leave the house for long periods of time. They never realize that there is something that brings those cats back, but their owners become hopeless and replace them like toys on display. They might see me as the crazy cat lady next door, but I think of myself as their... life-saver." She picks up a small orange, but sensitive tabby and strokes it's fur. It had a little bib tied to it, but it continued to shudder. She notices you looking at it, and she hands the small kitten to you. As she watches you pet it, she explains, "Isn't she beautiful? She was abandoned a couple of days ago, soaking wet in the rain. You see her shudder? I think it was the thunder that threw her into a shocking fit! I don't understand why anyone would let such a small kitten on it's own like that, unless it was on purpose. That that is just inhumane."

"So how many do you own?" You ask, handing the small kitten to her. She laughs and answers, "Enough that I could keep track of them. I find a stray almost every week, and I know I could have enough space for plenty more. But they are only kittens, and require more space when they become older. You may wonder if I might release them, but it's more likely that I would move into a larger house then release them. Unless, they want to raise a family on their own out there," she points to an open window, "Then I'll let them." [600 words]

what is this kiamara's relationship with cats? does it own any?;; “Life isn’t always fair, and it is up to the fortunate to help the less fortunate,” is the quote that Amaya strives to lives her life by.
She considers herself a very fortunate being, and knows what it is like to feel thrown out, like you don’t belong and no one loves you, so she saves others, specifically cats, from this fate. Every night, she roams the streets and alleys, looking for cats that have been abandoned or have no home. She will call to them gently, and if they come to her, she will pick them up and take them home, where she nurtures them back to health, whether it is with medicine or just good old love. Sometimes, and this sickens her, a family will move out of their home and leave their cat in the house, locked in with no food or way to survive. This is where her job gets risky. It is highly illegal, but if she suspects there is a cat left behind, she will break into the house and rescue it from its doom. She knows what she is doing is against the law, but Amaya believes that the cats’ lives are a higher cause. Plus, what she is doing isn’t hurting anyone; rather it is saving many lives.
All of the cats she has rescued live temporarily in her house, and there are usually twenty there at a time. None of them stay forever, she takes care of them and when she feels that they are ready, she adopts them out. Whenever others ask her where she got them, she winks and says ‘I have my ways.’ She doesn’t like to call them ‘pets’ because she thinks that they are much more than toys or sources of entertainment for the ‘superior race’. They deserve to be treated fairly, and it breaks her heart every time she finds another one that has been abandoned. She loves them like she would love a child, and treats them like she would to another kiamara.

Feli was raised by cats during his young years and joined the kiamara society about 2 years ago, long enough to know how they act and live. But because of his cat background, he acts more like they do. For example, he always lands on his feet, likes to climb trees, and has a dislike for dogs (but he is more afraid then ready to attack them).

Does he own any cats? Well to him he doesn't own any but rather they are his constant companions. He had never bought any of the cats that live with him. He found them on the streets and offered them a safe place to stay. At this time he has five different cats living with him but he hopes to find more so that the kiamara way of life seems more comfortable since it will have the comforts from his past home as well as his new one.
