Her name comes from a type of yellow koi, usually with red eyes. Their designs and colors remind me of Japan, China, and koi.

Dragon's Name:
Nishi

Nishi means "night" in Sanskrit. This dragon's name was picked because of its inky-black base color.

Their names combined, Nishikigoi, is the term for "koi fish" in Japanese.
