A FEMALE BEAN WITH fur that matched a dog known as a german shepherd and know as Zasha, stood tall on the side of the large, long, grey battleship while her long fur flickered in the heavy gusts of wind. The sound of troops yelling at eachother screeched behind the female while she watched the dark water hit against the sides of the moving vessel. Moving her cranium away from where she was gazing, Zasha walked steadily over to where a small hatch lead down to the un air conditioned rooms, isolation cellars, and a staircase up captains deck. Stepping up the grey steps towards where the captain would be located, I sent nods to fellow deckhands whom may have passed by and did the same to me. Taking a sharp turn while dots of sweat rolled down from my forehead from the boiling heat of being locked away on a ship in the pacific ocean… Getting to the slim door that lead into the captain's room, Zasha slowly turned the handle while letting out a sigh… “Captain?”

She tends to be very carefree and spacey when it comes to her job, but when addressing customers or anyone really she tends to be very polite, even when they do something she doesn't quite like. She will attempt to sweeten an answer up just to make sure she doesn't hurt anyone's feelings. Brazil has a hard time saying no when asked to help with things even when she has too much on her claws already. Much like the dog she looks like, she is extremely wary of new people and thus gets very protective of her friends and family while clamming up to the new person or people.The only time Brazil can be considered rude or mean is when her temper flares. The only time she can seem to focus is when she is working on her blog, speaking to a customer, or practicing her Taekwondo.

Tail Bracelet - She love, love, loves bracelets, but they frequently get in her way while working on a photo shoot or writing, so she chose her tail for the bracelet

German Flag Charm - When her mother passed away of old age when Brazil was 20 she purchased this for her father to keep her memory alive, but ended up getting him a matching one and keeping this one.

English Flag Charm - After her father died due to a broken heart they said, which was a month after her mother, she purchased this in memory of him and to go with her German flag.

American Flag Charm - Her first charm she got as a gift for her 13th birthday from her parents, she has worn it on her person on one piece of jewelry or another. This is her 'security blanket'

Earrings - She has two studs: one on the top, one on the bottom and both are connected by a chain

Brazil has asthma that was very severe when she was little, but is fading as she grows older.

Not so much a medical issue, but she tends to shed a lot.

"T-this is a tad embarrassing, so I thought I should tell you rather than let A-ardra do so...

N-normally you can find a ton of photos I have taken, photos I have studied... S-scraps of paper that I didn't particularly enjoy the writing of... Pencils, all purple of course.... There may or may not be some form of snack, such as peanut butter bars, m-my favorite! You c-can also occasionally find pine cones, acorns, gumballs from the gumball trees...

A-a complete and utter m-mess! There are photos plastered all over the wall, camera pieces scattered on my desk, a messy bed, dresser with all the drawers open, taekwondo belts and meddles scattered on the floor...

When she writes Brazil writes in all lowercase in a purple colour like this:

With her mother being a trauma nurse, and her father being a Detective in missing persons cases they each wanted her to go into the same field as one of them, or something similar to what they did... However their carefree daughter always had her head in the clouds and an eye for a good place to take an amazing picture. Her writing skills were very well developed, and pared with the pictures Brazil knew that is what she wanted. She became a Professional Photographer, which is where her income comes from, but she also takes pictures and writes a blog about the things she finds, then taping them to paper and making her own notes for her binder.

♣ 1st birthday - Had an asthma attack, was hospitalized and became very sick / frail afterwards

♣ 5th birthday - Got the all clear to go to school; Had to be held back another year due to another asthma attack

♣ 8th year - Discovered peanut butter bars and her quirk of eating food counterclockwise; Also began to gravitate towards photography and writing rather than search and rescue / detective work

♣ 10th year - Her asthma had gotten better to where it was almost gone, though she still has the occasional problems

♣ 16 1/2 year - Met Zephyr, who would stay one of her closest friends, who would eventually become like a sister. Started her first blog, got her first camera

♣ 18th year - Began to take Taekwondo in self defense, which turned into a passion, she won her first contest her first year. Got an even better camera and a job offer with a photography company

♣ 20th year - Both of her parents died, she moved out of their house to live with Zephyr, her close friend, and continued her photography job / blog

♣ Present - Reaching for her dreams, got asked to do a shoot for a nature magazine (Which will happen in August!)

Biggest Hopes
* Reaching for the stars:
She dreams of becoming known world wide for her photos and blog, but for now she is reaching for just being well known in the community, to her that is reaching for the stars, and she is determined to catch one of the fiery objects.

* Achieving black belt in Taekwondo:
What started out as a self defense class had become a passion, one that helps her relieve stress and built up energy. She has sworn she will achieve this goal.

* Learning to say no:
Brazil would like to be able to tell people NO when she has too much on her claws to help, so far this goal does not look like it will be achieved in the next ten years.

* Seeing Germany and England
Because her parents moved to America, where she currently lives, Brazil wants to get to know her parent's homes, their original countries just to see where her roots came from and to meet relatives she hopes she can find to expand her family of two. (Her and Zephyr)

Greatest Fears

! Peanut Butter Bars Leaving:
It may seem silly to others, but her addiction to these scrumptious bars has seriously gotten so bad she has nightmares about stores discontinuing to carry them.

! Losing Everyone She Loves:
This is a recent fear that has reared its ugly little head in the past three years after the death of her parents. She isn't very sociable, so the friends she does have she is terrified something bad will happen to them.

! Destroyed Nature:
Brazil hates the fact that pollution is causing the death of many creatures, and destroyed habitats /excessive hunting are causing the beautiful creatures she loves /would love to photograph to go extinct. She is terrified one day her children won't get to see the stunning flowers, or know what a cheetah is.

With Zephyr and Brazil being roommates to cut down costs, they generally get along pretty well... Brazil does tease Zeph about having to have their house spotless, and about Zeph's huge crush on Zeph's best friend, Valentine (Owned by Ang3red Ang3l or Ang3l in Wond3rland), but Zeph gets her back by hiding the peanut butter bars, or taking her Taekwondo belt from her. And then it starts an all out war of hiding coffee (Brazil), to notes FILLED with grammar mistakes (Zeph), to hiding Zeph's tail charm. All in all though they act like siblings, which is a love hate relationship like all siblings have (Or at least my sister and me!)

Hello, I am Akilah, a female who's one of the males. My mama named me so, hoping I'd live an enlightened life. While I don't live quite up to her expectation in my name, I feel I could not be happier. Papa wasn't exactly happy about having a girl, but I proved I could be just as strong as any male. That made him quite pleased to have me as his own, to make his friend's sons look like females themselves! Some of them are now my best friends. It's funny, being too feminine to be a powerful leader like papa, but too brash to live the subdued life my mama lead. I suppose they both live in me...


Let's begin with her posh nature. For starters, she is half British and half Arabic in decent - very classy, very hardy, very proud. Her accent reflects strongly on her British roots. This girl has a good appreciation for all of the luxuries in life - from fine dining to a clean home to a plush pillow to sleep on. Akilah loves to lounge and sunbathe as a result, showing off her glossy coat and muscular build. She has OCD, and so, when something of her rhythm in life is thrown out of style the tiniest amount, she tends to become a drama queen. Everything must be just so! Especially her favorite food, a delicious bowl of chocolate ice cream swimming in caramel and whipped cream. There must be exactly twenty dark chocolate curls on top and a cherry with a stem, or she won't touch it. After a tiresome day, she enjoys retiring to her nook by the fire place with a book and tea, then trotting to her lavish nest of velvet pillows and silky blankets for a well earned beauty sleep.

All of her snotty behavior doesn't stop her from being quite a charmer and team player, however. On her rugged side, Akilah is extremely athletic. She is in constant attempt to better herself in sports, especially foot ball (AKA soccer). She's not afraid to play in the dirt with a manicure, and treasures sportsmanship above all else. She's extremely loyal to her teams, be it her friends or on TV. Akilah is known for getting the party started against what you may think, and has good tastes in music and fashion to match up with the newest bold trends to turn heads. She will do what she wants, when she wants, how she wants, and sometimes hurts others in the process, but she makes it up to them in some way in the end. And watch out! She's a dare devil who will tackle a bet or new thing in a heart beat. She is also known for being a brilliant home maker, from enjoying gardening, which gives her some time to think and be in the dirt, to cleaning home and concocting new recipes.


Born in England, with a wild heart and luxurious upbringing, Akilah always found herself questioning her position in the world. On the one hand, her mother was a calm home maker, steady and reliable like the sun, but she hungered for more than a quiet life of devotion to a man. She had a burning passion to prove herself the equal to males. On the other, her female traits lead her to be mocked sometimes by the other JBDs around her, despite her skill in sports and amazing ability to be a friend to one and all. As she grew, she found the in between niche where she could carve out a life as she refers to herself now - a Sophisticated Tomboy.

Akilah excelled herself socially and athletically much to her father's delight. Her mother was not to thrilled that she wasn't the brightest in school, but her charm and achievements made her mother smile. She also wasn't so above coming to help her mother in the kitchen with a curry, loving the smell of spices and exotic herbs far more than the boring flowers in the garden. Often she closes her eyes at night, remembering the one trip she took with her mother to her home... To India, where incense and candles mystify the senses, and colors and sounds mix into a kaleidoscope of thrills and thoughts. That one trip changed her life forever in England, and she made it her goal to remake the culture for her eyes in her manor house.


Akilah is a Hindu. As such, her grandmother and mother assisted her in following a less rigorous path in the beliefs that enables her still to be independent in the modern world. She bears a small red dot tattoo in the middle of her forehead for religious reasons. Her father did not press for a conversion to Christianity as he was, but embraced her own decision.


Based upon her activity at the moment, Akilah has a simplistic yet tasteful fashion for everything. Her wardrobe is almost entirely red and sea foam green like her eyes. For instance, when attending, playing, or watching foot ball, she will wear a jersey the color of her eyes with her lucky number 59 printed on it. At parties, she tends towards a soft greenish sari given to her by her mother, or a red one her great grandmother hand sewed for her mother. She is never seen without a large green bangle on her right wrist among her great collection of jewelry, and often has her arms laden with glittering bracelets and rings. She must always have her right arm wearing several pieces, however, out of habit.

This girl also enjoys the art of Henna. She loves to mix up her designs when the previous has worn away, and complement them with small skin gems which she also likes around her facial tattoo. But even though she may have a deeply variant wardrobe, Akilah never fails to make it suitable and stunning.


Akilah among her great host of JBD friends has one BFF, Dandy (owned by Verdanda, used with permission). Dandy and she share many common interests, such as classy art and fashion, tea, and foot ball. You can often find them having a conversation over cups of jasmine and earl grey tea with crumpets. Dandy tends to be her charming listener of a friend when she's stressed. He knows how to talk her out of something crazy, though it doesn't always work if she's super worked up. Akilah, on the other hand, encourages Dandy to be more outgoing and to take a risk every now and again. Once again, it's not always successful, but when it is, the results are either enjoyable for Dandy or hilarious for Akilah to witness. Akilah also tends to take stands for Dandy when he's being upset, such as when his hat is taken, she will get it back.They are in no way romantically involved, Akilah being too fast moving for a slow romance and Dandy enjoying just being charming to all.

However, there is a certain someone who gets particularly ruffled when Akilah is around... Dandy's somewhat foil, Chartruese (Owned by Verdana, used with permission), finds that Akilah's presence is far too encouraging for Dandy to 'misbehave' or annoy her. Akilah is generally seen as a poor influence on Dandy as such, and if Chartruese has a say in it, she is not welcome anywhere within a fifty foot radius of Dandy! But they find it all the more fun to run and hide from her as a result, further agrivating poor Chartruese as she tries to keep an eye on the pestering friends.

You don't need to read this part, really and truly. But I decided I'd include it as an afterthought. For starts, might I say I'm not the biggest fan of such large scale adoptables, such as these, but rather a little more intimidated by them. Nor am I the biggest lover of simplistic designs. I'm extremely picky in my choice of adopts, but seeing this girl, this fabulous dame... It was hard for me not to fall head over heels. So simple, yet so much potential in this one design. When I look at her, she is an enigma who's far deeper in story and self than any OC I've ever fallen for. Her brashness, her pride, and her classy side all somehow coexist in one place with something of a childish bearing. I look around at the other applicants, and I must say that they all have fabulous forms, so much more thought out and devoted. I did the best I could with minimal time on my hands. But I am honest when I say I love her just as much as any other participating, all to whom I wish the greatest luck and know she may find a fabulous home with any one of them.

This would be my first mainstream adoptable I have adopted. Needless to say, I've never shown much in terms of OC devotion as a result. But in my hands, this girl would have quality art bursting out her pouch and ears, by myself and ordered. I would use her avidly in roleplay as I could with my busy life, and some part of me knows she will become one of those few OCs I regularly doodle or think about in boredom. I want to try to puzzle out the enigma I see in her, though it likely has no bottom, and turn her into one of my all time adored OCs. Thank you so much for the opportunity!
