Porcupine wrote:What you can call me by!
Porcelain Cupcake
Unfortunately for this little lad, he has a very girly name.
Instead, he goes by the cooler, more interesting sounding Porcupine.
Porcupine wrote:Boy or girl? Whaddya think I am?
Male.
Yes, despite his effeminate appearance, Porcupine is, in fact, quite male.

Who wants to hear a pun?
Well, if you spend any time at all with Porcupine, you had better be prepared for one.
He loves animal puns because of how witty they can be,
but other types can be pretty funny too, sometimes.
Porcupine's absolute favorite pun of all time is a short one, and has to do with his own name.
Porcupine: A real yearning for bacon.
[Just... Think about it for a second. Or seventeen.]
Why puns though? Well, because when Porcupine was a bit younger,
he didn't have any friends.
No one would talk to him, because he was 'special'...
But then, one day, he managed to find himself in a conversation with some other beans,
and he said something that sounded normal to him, but all of the others fond it hilarious.
Later, he learned that he had been being 'punny',
and he decided, the rest of his life, he would tell puns to anyone who would listen,
and most of all to people who wouldn't. It made people accept him,
at least a little more than they had... Porcupine will always be a little slow,
puns or no puns, but at least with his little army of bad jokes,
he can always have something to cling to in life.

I'm also going to include what he keeps in his pouch...
The reason I didn't mention that in the title of this section is because, shhhh,
Porcupine doesn't know yet...
Luckily, he's such a dork that he doesn't read the little parts,
just the big, bold areas. So I'm safe for now.
So. Back to our order of business.

I just really like The Brobecks

All I am is a man
I want the world in my hands
I hate the beach
But I stand
In California with my toes in
the sand
Use the sleeves of my sweater
Let's have an adventure
Head in the clouds but my
gravity's centered
Touch my neck and I'll touch yours
You in those little high-waisted
shorts, oh
She knows what I think about
And what I think about
One love, two mouths
One love, one house
No shirt, no blouse
Just us, you find out
Nothing that I wouldn't
wanna tell you about, no
'Cause it's too cold
For you here and now
So let me hold
Both your hands in the
holes of my sweater
And if I may just take your
breath away I don't mind if
there's not much to say
Sometimes the silence guides
our minds
So move to a place so far away
The goose bumps start to raise
The minute that my left hand
meets your waist
And then I watch your face
Put my finger on your tongue
'Cause you love to taste, yeah
These hearts adore
Everyone the other beats
hardest for
Inside this place is warm
Outside it starts to pour
Coming down
One love, two mouths
One love, one house
No shirt, no blouse
Just us, you find out
Nothing that I wouldn't
wanna tell you about, no, no, no
[2x]
'Cause it's too cold
For you here and now
So let me hold
Both your hands in
the holes of my sweater
Whoa, whoa...
Whoa, whoa... whoa
Whoa, whoa... [2x]
'Cause it's too cold
For you here and now
So let me hold
Both your hands in
the holes of my sweater
It's too cold
For you here and now
Let me hold
Both your hands in the
holes of my sweater
And it's too cold,
It's too cold
The holes of my
sweater...

An odd hobby, she knows, a unique one,
and that's why she loves it.
How her hobby began wrote:
It was a normal day, the sun obscured by thick layers of clouds, nearly like a veil over all light. It was around noon, and Marea had decided to go for a walk on the beach, as she often did. It was only a few minutes into said walk that the thunder came, crashing louder than drums. Then the lightning- great, bright flashes of electricity slicing through the damp air. Finally, to top off the nightmare, raindrops as big as her claw came pouring out of the sky, softly at first, before erupting into a chorus of thuds against the sand. The waves started rolling higher, slamming against the shore with the force of a dragon. Marea hated being wet, but shelter was miles away, as the beach was isolated. She had taken a trolley there, and had paid good money for the extended drive. She quickly shook the water off of herself before leaping at the first thing she saw, a few rocks stacked together. She scrambled over the wet surface, huddling at the base of the pile, tail clutched in her front paws. She stayed like that for a few moments, frozen in fear, before something shiny caught her eye. She loved shiny things, so, closing her eyes tightly as the thunder shook the ground again, she reached out and groped for it. When her paw landed on the flat, smooth, dull-edged glass she immediately brightened up, and she carefully reeled it back into her line of sight. She grinned when she saw the soft blue color, although the expression was wiped off of her face by the next strike of lightning. She turned it over in her paws before picking a long, thin blade of grass and threading it through a small hole in the sea glass. She continued through the storm like this, slowly creating a necklace out of sea glass, although shivering. This took her mind off of the storm, and for the time she was working on it, she felt nearly in a daze, as though her mind was not her own. soon she heard the bell of the trolley clanging through the screeching wind, and she slowly stood up, quietly trudging towards it against the wind and rain. As she steeped inside, the driver offered her a blanket, which she accepted gratefully, and she settled down in her usual spot at the back of the trolley, her first necklace hanging around her neck. And, for the first time in a long time, she smiled.
