It's been a while since I last listened to your voice on the radio. The way you tend to say 'um' just to hide blushes and lies snaking through you're teeth. But I... Yes, I forgive you for that long stroll on the beach as cherry blossoms kissed your muzzle, when it should have been mine, even when you said it could never work. But I still can't forget the beautiful velvet red cake you left me, with a note saying, "The world was made to find impossible things, and you my dear are the one I shouldn't have left for another~"... Even if it's been two years, and I still haven't stopped crying... I know now that only your shoulder can soak up my tears and dry them once again in that soft golden air as the sunsets, in between the intertwined cherry trees as I ponder how the world looked so much vibrant in your eyes.

My Dearest Love,

I have longed for the day I would call you my love. You cannot comprehend how many tears have been cried over you. I long to walk with you along the beach, the beach we could call our own. We could sit on the cliff overlooking the beach, my favorite place. We could have a picnic enjoying marshmallow fluff and peanut butter sandwiches while watching the sunset. However, I do not have you, so I must do that all on my own. As I watch the sun set, all I can think of is you. I believe you do not know about my love for you, and of course you'd think that I am quite strange, others would too. I know you probably don't know that I exist, for I never talk to you. Although you would discover my true feelings for you if you read this, it would probably be the best if I just keep this in my pouch (no hard feelings).

Although you may not love me, I will always love you.

I've thought about whether or not to write this letter for a while. I mean, I'm not revealing my identity, but it feels weird letting all these private thoughts out into the open. The leaves on the trees turn gold, and then pink as the sun sets, and if there's a bit of a breeze sometimes it rains blossoms. If you stayed long enough we could watch the sky turn dark and count the stars together.
I wonder if you like strawberries with whipped cream. I do. I know it's cliché, it's one of the stereotypical romantic foods, like heart shaped chocolates, but I love them. I add sugar to the cream, so it tastes exquisite. I'm sure I could get you to like them, if you were mine.
I'd love to wake up to your sleep-soft eyes every morning, and fall asleep to the lullaby of your heartbeat. It makes my chest feel tight whenever I think about it, because I know I'll never have you.
