The fear of all colorsPaloma has chromatophobia, which is a fear of all colours.
When Paloma was a newly hatched baby bean she would
put a blind fold on over her eyes and keep them tightly shut
whenever the blindfold came off. The doctor once forced her eyes
open to check on them, and she was terrified of everything
the rest of the day. Once we realized that little Paloma had a
fear of colors, we never again forced her eyes open. But the
day came, just a few days after her first birthday, when Paloma
was diagnosed with optic nerve disease, which made her
colorblind! While others would have been sad to have their baby
have this disease, I was overjoyed that Paloma would be able to
see the world and not be terrified of it.YFS-A? :-->
