Age: 25 years
Name: Jace
Gender: Male
How did he get his armor?: While being a quiet raven he's remarkably bright; constantly studying others; he's a self-taught marvel, growing up in the middle classes he often attended contests of meetle and vitality. Combat in other words. He watched the true warriors as they did battle then he would go home andattempt to mimic, improve, and personalize their technique. He would then beg his father to spar with him, which often surprised the elder raven seeing as Jace's eyes were often in the skies, not in his classes. The little spitfire had the heart of a warrior in the body of a slightly and unusually smaller raven male. His mother tried to get him to focus on his magics, but the young raven's eyes were set on becoming a warrior despite his small size. When Jace turned 18 he entered for himself in combat to test all the years he'd spent studying and practicing to become a warrior if not a knight in the Royal court. Jace didn't win in the end; he came very close but was bested in the last three rounds of the competition by much larger and essentially 'better bred' ravens that seeme to have been groomed for combat since they were hatched. As far as the battles went he showed off his best; tried his hardest, and gave his true all in what he put into his battles. This particular day these matches were being watched by some of the knights in the royal court- off duty, of course and they seemed to be in pressed by Jace's spunk. While many of them congradulated the top winners of the day's competition they also took time to speak with the little raven that reminded them that a warrior isn't always sselected at birth, but rather a warrior can be self created through determination, knowledge, and skill. The warriors provided him with hand me down wing guards; enchanted phoris. The young raven couldn't believe they would do anything like that for a middle class nobody like him. Jace was extremely humbled with their gifts; the knights havingbestowed them on him in hopes of seeing him in true combat for the greater good with them. Once everyone had departed the lead knight took Jace for a round flight and a talk; he questioned his ideals, and motivation, and plans for his life. Once they returned the knight captain placed his helmet on Jace's head with a wide smile, and deep trust. He placed a trust in Jace to one day replace him, and the young raven, while only working his way through the ranks of warrior into becoming a knight, is still bent on honoring that trust.
