- fireflies. My username is fireflies., it sounds quite pretty does it not? xD I changed my username not very long ago at all, Air just didn't really seem to fit me anymore ; I got bored of it, to be honest and longed for a change. I chose fireflies because I've always been interested in the bugs ; it was almost like magic to me, really. Past usernames have been the most recent, Air, Black caviar, greenchickencurry and a few more that I can't be bothered naming. I guess my nickname could be fire or fly but currently, I have no nickname.
- esky. Do you know what the thing is called when you put the drinks somewhere to keep them cold? That's right, you put them in an esky! I want an icy sort of name but with a slight quirk as well, I was think something like eskimo at first but then I was like, hang on, what about esky as an name? She doesn't know her last name, she always forgot to ask her parents but her middle name is shard, you know, after an ice shard? Her parents thought it just suited her. So her full name is Esky Shard but she's trying to find a last name for her.
- female. Esky wouldn't be able to not feel very insulted if you asked her such a question like this. Alright, a first glance you could easily see her as a male with a dark glint in her eyes and a very musclar build despite her gender, not to mention a harsh yet emotionless voice. All these things lead up to her being a guy but she is not, so if you did ask her about it she'll just shoot one hurt look your way before walking away withnot another word. After that, Esky would probably be sour to you for the rest of the year - no, in fact she would be sour to you for the rest of your life. Yet this girl's used to such careless comments this at the moment, still doesn't stop her from feeling offended.
- a polar surprise. Once a year, when winter rolled around, Esky forced one of her good friends Juliet to stay in the little cabin with her in the snow. Sadly, the dalmation jbd wasn't fond of the cold and spent her time complaining and rubbing herself warm which frustrated Esky. Why couldn't her friend see the beauty of the ice? How the shards reflected the light and turn it rainbow? So, as a little bit of revenge the snowflake bean liked to play cruel tricks on Juliet and the latest one had been planned for this afternoon while her friend was least expecting.
Juliet was out in the snow, mumbling to herself as she sat up. With a sigh, she began to trudge back to the cosy little cottage when she heard something that startled the life out of her. Something big and heavy breaking the snow. Nervously, she shot a quick glance over her shoulder before relaxing, of course, it was Esky trying to play another trick on her. ''I know you're there!'' she yelled out but there was only silence in return. Esky had been known to over-carry things so Juliet began to hurry back swiftly. That was when she spotted the bear.
It was a massive thing, snow-white and held nasty sharp white claws. It's lips drew up as it let out a low gutteral snarl of hunger before the male polar bear lowered itself to all four paws and gave charge, kicking up snow everywhere. Juliet couldn't move, she couldn't breathe, she was sure this wouldn't be one of Esky's tricks, even the snowflake female wouldn't be so mean. All she could do was stupidly stare as death looked her back in the eye. But the bear stopped and knocked her to the ground with one massive paw clutched to her throat and it's slobber falling onto her eyes, preventing her to see. ''Please don't kill me,'' she whispered.
And then a strange thing happened, the bear let out one bellow in her face before it spun around and lumbered off into the blizzard. There was a mark on her throat from where she was grabbed and her ears were ringing loudly but apart from those things, she was fine. Realizing how close she had come to dying, Juliet let out a sob and stumbled into the cabin burying her face in her paws, tears rolling down her cheeks but she never noticed that Esky wasn't in the cabin until a few minutes later. She still didn't think her friend was as cruel to play such a mean trick so she silently prayed that the bear hadn't gotten Esky.
Out in the snow, Esky was coming around the back with a huge smirk on her face. She ripped the polar bear costume off which was flooded with sweat at this point and gasped in relief as the breeze cooled her skin. She would've given Juliet more of a scare but she couldn't because it was just too damn hot. The female was unaware that her friend was crying behind the wall, only a few metres away and if she did know, she would've stopped the jokes and said sorry right away, feeling bad. But Esky didn't realize the terror she could inflict by mistake, she had just wanted to get back at Juliet for dissing her home so much. Letting out an evil cackle, she tipped her head back and laughed. ''Wait until she sees the wolf mask I have prepared for her at bedtime!''
Yes, Esky had a good heart but she always took things way to far.
