Everyone has good and bad in them, even Holliston. Holliston isn't one to listen, he hears you, but selects the option to not listen, wanting to do what he wants, not what you ask from him. This causes him to get in alot of trouble, with his parent, and others. Not listening also causes him not to have many close friends, as they don't trust him. He doesn't seem to care though, as he is more of an outcast, and this doesn't bother him, he likes not having anyone bossing him around, since he wouldn't listen anyways. Along with not listening he has heard others use the word, stubborn, many times. Only doing what he wants, not what others want, he is quite stubborn. If you wish for him to do something, he won't, unless he has the desire to do so.
Though Holliston sounds like a bad child, he isn't. With each bad trait, comes a good one. Holliston is a very protective kiamara. Once he has been accept by someone he accepts them, meaning he will give his life to save theirs, he gained this trait from his father. Always seeing how strong his father was, not allowing anyone to push him around, Holliston picked this trait up. He feels if he has someone to protect, he has a purpose. With gaining a trait from his father, he also gained a trait from his mother. Holliston is very simple, he doesn't require alot of attention, or stuff to survive. He likes to live off the land, using only the things the Earth provides for him, not asking for new stuff, that is very expensive. He rather save money for necessities than spend it, to just be spending. So in the end, Holliston isn't all bad, or all good, he's only an animal, and there is not such a word as perfect.

Being different causes people to change, and it definantly caused Holliston to become someone he wasn't, at all. When he was born, he was the closest thing to perfect, without being perfect. Soon he started noticing the awful in the world, and the demons had targeted him, and by his first birthday Holliston was a different boy. He felt that he needed to be like the others in the world, no one seemed to listen to each other, or care about others. People only did what they wanted to, and didn't ever do what others asked of them. Holliston's parents noticed his change, since it was very noticable. Holliston wouldn't stay home, and always get into things. He never listened to his parents any longer, like he used to. Holliston no longer helped around the house, always telling his mother,' I'm not your slave.' Though he is different, his parents still seem to accept him. Even though he has this tough boy image, he still tells his parents he loves them at night. Some think children are to ignorant to see the awful in the world, but maybe that's why these children are changing everyday, because that's what happened to Holliston.
