Thirteen of his yearlings brought an average of $636,000 at public auction last year - 25 times the national average. With 105 sons who are sires, he is within 20 victories of passing the great Nijinsky II and becoming the all-time leading sire of stakes winners.

Known as The Tank, Denman is widely known for his great rivalry with Kauto Star for the Cheltenham Gold Cup. He is a large horse with a front-running style in an attempt to run the finish out of his rivals, which he did to claim the Cheltenham Gold Cup in 2008.
