What is a Kora?
A Kora is a large feline largely resembling a leopard or lion. All Koras have a fluffy dorsal mane, starting from the end of the tail and ending at the crown of the head, falling over the face. Their faces are broad, like a lion, but they have wider eyes adapted to seeing in the dark. Koras have large, tufted tails. We have yet to know what the purpose of such an ornamental tail would be. Koras have short, coarse fur, good for keeping out water and unfavorable temperatures. Much like their ancestors, the leopard, cheetah, and jaguar, all Koras have spots almost covering their bodies. Occasionally they may be more sparse, but they will always have them for the purpose of camouflage in their harsh wild habitat.

Lascivus, or Lasc for short. Lascivus is the Latin word for Festive, and what a better fitting name for such a festive fellow?

Story;

Lascivus wandered around town aimlessly, his spirits low, his eyes sunken into his skull, and his ribs visible from underneath his matted and muddy coat. The air stung him as it sliced through his thinning pelt, and the snow numbed his paws as he walked.
Not a light could be seen in any of the humans' windows, nor were there any strays scurrying about. Everyone had a home tonight; everyone but him, that is.
His stomach let out a rather obnoxious growl, starvation slowly settling in. He closed his eyes against the pain, though ended up collapsing on a street corner, hot tears sliding down his face and freezing in his fur.
"Hello there," a smooth voice purred, jolting Lasc from his self-moping. He looked up to see a beautiful woman dressed in all white, her black hair up and framing her golden face. Wings adorned her back, and a silver halo clung to her ebony locks. Lasc blinked his eyes a few times, but she did not go away.
"My name is Eldelvia; most just call me El. I'm one of the Christmas angels."
"Christmas angels?" Lasc murmured skeptically, eyeing her with suspicion.
"Come with me," she spoke warmly, and before he had time to object, he was swept up in her arms. Though he outweighed her and was about her size, the young woman lifted him with ease. The world swept around them, white light blinding him to the point that he had to squeeze his eyes shut.
When he opened them again, they were in a warm room. A fire roared in a large fireplace on one side, and overstuffed furniture decorated the rest of the floor. Food was set on platters and maids and butlers lined up across the end of the room, waiting for their orders.
"I'm dreaming," Lasc moaned, hanging his head in sorrow.
"I would say not. But don't believe me; enjoy the dream," El sang, her voice fluttering and light as she left the room, though he wasn't sure where, because when he looked up, she was gone, but there were no doors in sight, just a few windows that were frosted and untouched.
He worked it over in his mind what she had said, then decided, what harm could it do?
He began wolfing down all the food in sight, giddy with the feeling of a full belly for once in his life. Once finished, the maids brought him over to a tub he hadn't noticed before and gave him a rather good scrubbing. Once finished, his coat shone with health and beauty, his true pattern finally showing through. They put a large wreath around his neck, full and alive, and hung a pine cone and a bit of holly from his tail.
Content, he curled up in front of the fire, slowly dozing off in the warm glow.
He woke up to find himself on the front porch of a pristine white house. He looked around, seeing that it was on a rather large property, protected by a high, gray and white stone wall and a black rod iron gate. The porch was magnificent and huge, with pillars adorning it and lights making it look happy and welcoming.
A young woman opened the door. Already in a state of shock, as he didn't know how he got there, Lasc realized the woman looked just like El, the angel that had helped him.
"Mom!" the woman cried, her eyes bright with delight. "Look! It's a Christmas miracle!"
The girl's parents came rushing forward, gushing over the large feline that was now rolling around on their doorstep. They quickly brought him inside, reading a note that had been tucked into his wreath that he was a present that was looking for a good home. The family quickly adopted Lasc, and for him, it was indeed a Christmas miracle.
