What's your favorite holiday tradition?;;

My Favorite tradition actually goes back on my fathers side of the family for its a german tradition.
One Christmas morning we play a game called find the pickle. We have a pickle ordinate and mum or
dad hang it up the christmas tree night before and try to hide it the best they can. Why a Pickle?
Well in olden days a pickle put on the tree so the children would appreciate the ordainments on the
tree as the looked for the pickle instead of gaining straight to the presents. So anyway the game
goes like this, the first person to find the pickle would normally get an extra gift, but in my family
it to see who opens the first gift on christmas morning. it a fun game and me and my sister, have
had to set ground rules like everyone has to be up and ready.
( Apparently I can't wake up at 2 o'ck to find the pickle. >.<)

what's your favorite holiday tradition?;;
My favourite holiday tradition is going over to my cousin's house for lunch. Every Christmas day, we'll go over to their house and spend half the day there, just eating, talking, playing games, soaking up the Summer sun, and enjoying each other's company. If I'm lucky, we'll play a less-dangerous game of rugby in their garden, simply kicking the ball to each other and scoring tries (or if you're me and have terrible aim, kicking the ball into the muddy pond). We do this almost every Christmas, and although I'd love to spend Christmas with my entire family, I'm grateful for what I've got.

➤ My favorite holiday tradition is the day that we decorate for Christmas. It's just me, my parents, and my little brother. We always get a real tree, and we listen to classic Christmas music while we decorate our tree. We also dress up our dog sometimes, which she puts up with for an hour or two but soon it gets old. After that, we make all sorts of homemade cookies, like Italian cookies (my family's signature recipe), macaroons, and plain old chocolate chip. When we're done and the last batch is in the oven, we sit back and drink hot chocolate and eggnog. I know it's really simple, but it's special to me and it's a comfortable thing that I always look forward to. I have a couple favorite ornaments that I always have to hang on the tree. There's this one ornament that we have that's a pickle with googly eyes and a Christmas hat, and everyday between the day we set up our tree and Christmas morning, my dad hides the pickle in a different spot on the tree and my brother and I have to find it.

what's your favorite holiday tradition?;; What's my favorite holiday tradition? Well, that one is tough but I guess for me it would have to be drinking my fill of egg nog. I don't know what it is about Egg nog but I LOVE IT! Sitting around and drinking a nice cold or warm cup of nog is the best. Especially for me who stays up late night to catch up on reading that I didn't have time for.

what's your favorite holiday tradition?;;

Okay. I'll just give you some background to this first. I'm from Sweden and in Sweden the main christmas day isn't the 25th but rather the 24th, on Christmas eve. On the evenening of the 24th we open our gifts and do all of those Christmas-y things, all right? So. Every Christmas at precicely 15.00, they show this little Disney-show thingy called "Donald duck's Christmas" in english I think ("Kalle Ankas Julafton" in Swedish). Though I believe that the show is originlly shown in like the US - cus it's all in english - it is a pretty general Swedish tradition. I personally love watching that little mishmash of Disney with my family. To me that really means christmas, to hear those songs and classic lines. So I would say that's my favourite, watching Donald duck and eating gingerbread and saffron-buns (another sorta Swedish thing).

Oh, my favourite tradition?
That's indeed a hard question, but I tihnk I have an answer. My answer, I mean.
During Christmas Eve, when our whole family is gathered.
After the Christmas Special-programme on TV that occur same time, every year and when our stomaches are full with delicious food we always play a game.
It's a sort of dice-game where your own luck is tested.
Everyone needs to buy a gift under 50 Swedish Crowns, which is placed on the table. Then you get to roll the dice. You are allowed to choose one of the wrapped gifts if the dice gives you a 6 or 1.
So you are allowed to take as many gifts as you want, as long as the dice lands on 6 or 1.
When all the gifts are gone, the fun part starts.
Now, you begin a new round. BUT, the difference from the past round is that it's time-limited(A person who doesn''t paly gets to choose the time, and it's a secret for everyone else) and you know get to choose which one of the gifts you ever want and take it from the person who picked that gift in the past round.
So this is how it goes. When the time is up, you get to un-wrap the gifts you've won and it's often something really silly.
But it is a fun game, and the persons who won the most gifts often gives it to someone else.

We always play this game, and I think it brings even more joy and happiness to this wonderful day.

My favorite holiday tradition has be baking. Baking all those delicious cookies for all my friends and family members and even my good neighbors that love my baking!

I also love watching everyone's faces light up with good emotions when they open their presents on Christmas day and just being able to be with your family and enjoy the time you have with one another.

My personal favorite holiday tradition,is very special.Every Christmas Eve,the night before Christmas,of course,Is opening one or two presents before christmas.I know it sounds like it would ruin it,but no,i enjoy it.Its like a spice to waiting for Christmas,and it makes it all the better for us.Its like a little taste of what your going to get on Christmas,but not all of it.
