- dropping out.

USERNAME
Hello, I'm Thistlestar and its a honor to try out for your kia!
I have been trying out for your unique and lovely kias lately and this
one, I just couldn't help myself but jump in! This boy has all the right
colors for me and I love the white eye! Everything blends in well, the
colors, the design, just everything! If I actually in a case, win him, I
will spoil him with role plays, art, and a lot more! He is really cute
and lovely and the design, its just speechless really! Well, let's get
to the form, right?
NAME
This boy just needed a unique name, something special, to
make it stand out. Not just a shallow name like "Dark" or "Shadow" but
something more in the inside, not just the appearance. His name was
originally Moon. It was meant as the light in the dark night to guide.
The hope in the darkness, the savior. He was not someone evil,
someone mean, he was kind and caring and thoughtful of others.
He was the beacon of light just like the moon in the sky that follows
us, where ever we go. But just Moon? How about another more language
to make it unique? I decided to choose French. His name is Lune. Lune's
full name is Lune Archimus Gunther though he wants you to only call
him Lune.
PERSONALITY
Outside Lune may look mean, tough, and evil because of his
dark colors but on the inside, he is actually a really nice fellow. He
cares deeply for his friends and will help then whenever they are in
need. He is thoughtful and humble, and very selfless. Lune takes other's
priorities first and loves animals. He even works at an animal shelter
and helps out there! Although he is very experienced around animals,
not so much with other kias. Lune tends to be shy around kias when
first meeting them but talk with him a bit more and he will warm
right up and charm you! Though shy as he is, he loves to make friends,
no matter what species, size, or looks! What matters to him
is that you are a good person and not mean or evil. He hates how
people criticize him and call him "Blindy" or "Bully" because of
his white eye or his dark pelt. It annoys him a lot but he merely
ignores them. He loves life, and that is the main reason he
works at an animal shelter - saving lives. Its important and he
feels really good about it.
STORY OF SCARS
It whimpered and growled. Cold and lonely, it was, no place to call home,
nowhere to go. Desperation drove it on the verge of death yet it still had
the fiery spirit in its eyes. Emaciated as it was, it was still wary of this
creature. Lune dropped down to his paws and on his stomach. Two blue
eyes stared back, dull yet it had this light, this hope. It was a pup, a very
sickly one indeed. Rain poured down, plastering Lune’s fur to his body and
he tried hard not to shiver. “Come on, we’ll get you safe home, pup,” he
coaxed gently, and slowly crept closer. The puppy was a small, its fur
was a beautiful chestnut and it had two tiny upright ears. It let out a whimper,
slipping farther into the dense undergrowth, fear striking its eyes as it
looked at Lune. It could barely move, its paws already numb, its ears cold
to the very tip. They were both very soaked and the skies would only cry
harder. It was dark and the moon was hidden behind a wispy cloud, so that
the only light that could be seen was Lune’s eyes. The very white pale eyes.
Some would call him blind, but he was just born that way. Lune in fact was
not blind and was very capable of seeing as well as anyone. “It’s cold out
here, I have a very warm bed waiting for you,” he whispered gently but the
puppy bared its teeth at him. Lune sighed. A life is always a life, I must do
what I can, he thought to himself confidently, new energy surging through his
veins. He drove the puppy towards a hollow in a tree. The puppy had no choice
but to back away into it until it became lost in the darkness of the hole. Lune
crept in after it and together, they were both swallowed by the tree. Two
cold blue eyes glared at Lune and suddenly, he felt a stinging sensation on
his nose and ear. He bit his lip, trying hard not to cry out. The pup had
scratched him! The rain had slowed to a shower outside; at least they
were dry in the tree now. Lune gradually approached the puppy, step by
step, until their bodies were touching each other. The pup gave no fight; it
was too miserable and tired to, and Lune’s body heat kept it warm. Together,
they both slept under the watchful blanket of the stars.
Something pressed against his head and Lune opened his eyes slowly. The
sun was peeking out of the hills and birds chirped. It was no longer raining
and there was a beautiful rainbow in the sky. Again, he felt something
poke him and looked up just to find himself staring at two eyes. Yes, the
pup. “Morning, I see you have regained your strength, huh? Let’s get you
somewhere safe!” he announced and together, they both trotted to a brown
wooden building.
Lune's Afterwords of Wisdom:
Lune speaking here! To think that these vicious scars should have come from
a fighter, a bully, but alas, no, it has come from the very life I am saving! I
wear these scars with pride, not with fear, or regret but these are the very
essense of me! Let not the scars or looks decieve you, for it is truly withen
your heart that we see.To each individual who takes his or her own meaning into
this story, is truly special indeed. For a life is not worth dying for, it is
for living. That one day, you may, yourself, save a life, I will be watching
over you with great pride and happiness. For you to truly follow your own
path, until then may you stay in the light and let the darkness wash out.
LUNE'S ANIMAL SHELTER
After this very story, Lune found that saving lives of these animals were
his passion. He did indeed open up his own animal shelter! Would you
like to go visit it? Well click here!
