Solution: I got nine... order of operations says you must multiply before adding and subtracting. So you would have to start by multiplying 4 and 1, and 2 and 3. Then finish the problem from left to right. I'm definitely not the first person, but the answer is 9 ;u;

Order of operations says that you must multiply first. So 1 x 4 = 4 and 2 x 3 = 6. Next, you can add and subtract (though they can be done either way first) and then you shall get the answer. If you use a calculator, it will give the answer 15 and it is incorrect because it does not use order of operations.

Multiplication and dividing from left to right, like you would read a paper
Adding and subtracting from left to right, like you would read a paper.
