I've come to a consensus on the winner! It was pretty close, but in the end there was one a step ahead of the others.

Something about Sparrow seemed to stick with me the whole time, and reading over the forms multiple times, I just knew Sparrow was meant to be. The way you captured and portrayed his quirky personality and social awkwardness was adorable, and I enjoyed reading through his relationships within his family. The story was really good too, and you had good quality art too. Overall, I fell in love with Sparrow, and that's the basics of it. (: I know you'll take wonderful care of him, and I'm sure he's eager to join the rest of his silly family.

I would like to give an honorable mention to Gerbilfuzz. You worked hard on your form, that was evident, but in the end WithABlink was able to provide a more dynamic character. Reading through your form was enjoyable, but I couldn't help but imagine him more as a younger child than as a teen, and when it came to his relationships with his family members, it came off as he felt a lot of the same feelings to all of them and they weren't hardly positive at all. I did like the effort though, and I wish you luck on your next contest. (:

Name:

Sparrow - short, simple, yet unique. It seems to suit him for his 'tender' charaistics. As this name has no real meaning of it, it does form the meaning of "sparrow, a bird".

Gender:

Male - As much as I would of liked to piture Sparrow as a female, I can't picture him as one. But, if Sparrow was to be called a girl, he would be pretty offended by it and go weep in a corner.

Personality:

If you ever met Sparrow, you would barely think he was even there! Sparrow can be one of the quitest beans when it comes to socialising, pretty much like a nervous wreck. His ablility to speak up would be impossible to grab attention. Being quite timid can be a big effect on Sparrow as he doesn't show any lack of courage or confidence, making him easily scared around large crowds. As you might of guessed it, Sparrow can be overlly shy when meetingnew beans. He does tend to stutter and is easly distracted when talking. The ony time Sparrow is 'not-so-weak', is when he is annoyed with the teasment from his brothers and sisters about his ears. He doesn't like the fact that they playfully pull on them to get his attention. But, if other beans judge and compare ear difference... he does get nervous and quiet, while trying to laugh it out from his embarrasment. Overall, Sparrow can be a real sweetheart and very gentle considerate of others around him through his unselfish and discreet ways.

I had always been in love with this song for years now, ever since it came out. Made by an Australian artist and musician, I knew it had been the right song that lender towards Sparrow and his characteristics.

Fears and Quirks/Habbits:

Fears
Fears is something that has always been apart of his life, ever since he was born. Sparrow is it the most 'bravest' thin when it comes to facing them, and they usually tend to affect the ways he sees things from these. He tends to fear most things, but some in particular that just lift a little bit higher then the rest. Sadly, after being names after a bird, Sparrow has a large fear of birds and it is something no normal bean is so scared of. Birds seem to frighten the living daylights of him, which know to be called Ornithophobia. Yes, that is a real phobia. Also, you might have noticed already that Sparrow has developed the phobia of Phonophobia, the fear of loud noises. Since his ears are very sensitive, he jumps at any loud sound and hides somewhere compacted and quiet. It takes awhile for him to come out, but it is a fear that is most common around him. One more small fear that should be mentioned is that he does have a tiny fear of illness and getting sick, called Hypochondria, as you will usually finding him cleaning himself regularly everyday.

Quirks
Sparrow does do a few things anyone normal bean wounldn't do. From a 'bat cultured' family, he is pround of the different ways his family may be. Sucking juice out of fruit is one thing that ruins in the family. Instead of eating it, he likes to since his teeth into any fruit he can find and sip up the delicious flavous, and as much as he can drink. Sparrow sorta refers this t=like drinking out of a fruit box. Another thing Sparrow does is that his ears seem to twitch when somthing's wrong or going to be a diaster. It doesn't happen on a regularly, but you can surely tell whe something's about to happen when Spartow's ears stands up straight and starts jittering.

Relationship with Family:

Father
The biggest bean of the family, he is kinda refered to big bear - a real 'toughy' on the outside but is also a soft, cuddly bear on the outside. even though he may be frightening at first, we all love him for who he is. Our father is the proctector of all of us, having a big heart to care for our needs and safety. Every night, we gather round to listen to his stories, inspiring us to follow our souls.

Oldest Sibling
She may be the oldest, but she has strong spirit full of fun and laughter. The reltionhip between us is very awkward, since we both are the complete oppisite from each other; but we still get along well. She loves to mess around with all of us, espcially with father as he always tells her to be mature and responsible with herself. Excitable as she is, she is one of the family members that loves playin with my ears - pulling hiding behind them. Basically anything she finds amusing will carry her interest.

Older Silbing
Again, we don't share a strong relationship between us. It's pretty much silence between us as we only exchange a few glances and nods... maybe a couple of words. He seems to be a bit 'distant' form the family as he lkes to be alone. He still loves his family, but sometime he can be very sly and quiet. He has a great interest for music, which bothers me as I can hear the beat from his headphones all the time.

Younger Sibling
He is one of the few energentic beans that run in the family. His outgoing personality has caused him to have endless energy. Though, he can be a little bit clumsy, causing him to trip over tails or fall over tiny rocks. Father is always worried about his 'tripping', even I can get worried about it. He also has a thing for his hair, hating it when it gets messy or someone bothers with it. He sure is alot to handle.

Younger Sibling
I get along with this bean a bit better than the others. He is a day-dreamer, always looking for he best things in life to look forward to. His dream of flying is something laugh about in the family, but I think it's rather cool to see such a samll bean dream so big. His ways of being a little shy only bother him a bit, but he can turn out to be a real sweetheart in the end.

Youngest Sibling
He's quite the unique brother. His personality is always mixed with different emotions, but he's still great to get along with. Sleeping is one thing he just loves to do, especially on father's back. Sleeping in the darkest parts of the cave is the best places you can find him, even when playing 'hide and seek'.

Youngest of Them All
If I ever told you about a bean like him, you would think I was crazy. He is one of the hyperest of hyper I could possibly find in a bean. He is just a big, huge ball of energy; laughing at everything, bouncing from wall-to-wall, even hanging upside down from everything he can possibly grab onto. Sometimes I even wonder how he can hang upside-down for such long periods of times. His crazy personality has caused him to become so energetic that he often squeals and is running around the cave. His fuzzy fur is not what you would call normal - as he has occured some sort of eletric 'zap', testing it out on beans. It usually frightens me with such a big shock, also seeming to scare me quite a few times too. He worries the whole family, but everyone still loves him for who he is.


↖↖ ｓｔｏｒｙ \ ｈｉｓｔｏｒｙ

Faint noises filled my ears with soft mumbles and humming of soothing words that formed a lullaby. My eyes opened slowly to find dark figures crouched close beside me, filling in a bright light that glowed behind… almost looking like a dark sun, as I remember. It took a few good blinks to focus on the new world that I had been brought to, only realizing that this new world is something that awaits my new adventures and memories that will forever be in my heart. A soft, gentle voice interrupted my thinking. “Oh my love, he is beautiful,” the loving voice told him as it continued, “…just as beautiful as the rest of the family.” My eyes seemed to have cleared up with more focus. With curiosity and interest, I looked up and ended up staring back at another creature’s huge eyes. The larger creature laughs softly and licked the top of my head. Another figure came into focus as it bent its head down slightly to nuzzle the side of my upper body. “Just as gorgeous as his mother”, the creature laughed, giving the other one a lick, then putting it’s attention back down at me. I had come to realize that these were my parents, something that I would treasure forever. “Try and stand up, little one,” my father gestured as his head nodded up in a way to help me. I obeyed him, and attempted to stand up. My weak legs unfolded out from the comfortable position I was in as I lifted my body up.

Past the few minutes of stumbling and falling around, I had managed to stand on my own four legs and in no time, I was beginning to slowly pad around. My mother and father both smiled at me with wide grins as I walked around the small area. Suddenly without warning, I had not notice a small bump poking out of the ground and accidentally tripped, causing me to fall on the ground. I had heard my parents gasp. Wait, I heard theme gasp? Both of them padded quickly to me as my father lifted me up from the ground… but it was pitch-black. Why was it suddenly all dark?, I thought. That was when I realized something else had come along when I was born.

I remember getting put firmly on the ground as my new pair of ears had flopped in front of my eyes. They fell down for quite awhile when I was younger. When my other brothers and sister’s were born, they had come to realize that I was a little bit different from them. My ears where the biggest out of the whole family… but they didn’t seem to mind. Usually the younger ones like to playfully pull on them, just to tease me to get me in a game of ‘Tag the Bat’ or ‘Strongest bean’ or even the game ‘Longest to hang’. I had grown quite nervous about my ears, as I was very quiet about things. But I loved my family, and they didn’t care if I was a little different because they loved me no matter what.
