My life is sometimes happy and carefree
My life is sometimes jolly and sweet
My life is sometimes full of holly and cheer
My life is sometimes Kinda and gentle

My life is sometimes full of despair and with un-repair
My life is sometimes full of misery and mistake
My life is sometimes selfish and full of hate
My life is sometimes mean and uncaring

My life will break me
My life will shake me
My life is like a coward
My life doesn't care how i feel

My life is soulless and in-animated
My life means nothing to anyone but me.

Name: Juliet. Shakespeare pretty much invented the sonnet, and Juliet's about as Shakespearean as names get!

Gender: Female

Poem:
If I could stop and simply see the day
See the rain as it falls, and the birds as they sing
No matter the weather, and come what may
The joy in my heart would surely ring

Still I wake with tomorrow's heaviness in my soul
Waiting to drop a great weight upon my head
A puzzle, a problem, a quandry, a goal
Yearning, all of my hours until I am dead

But what can I do to destroy this chain?
To break free and again, hear trees hum?
To laugh, to cry, to lose, to gain
To crash through and engage in life's thrum?

Breathe and see the beauty in your world
And slowly, these chains will come unfurled

Poem:
What would I do once the snow would fall?
I watch them turn and churn in the air,
As if, they are learning to dance in a ball.
Staring, straight, so straight is it that hard to bear?

    Looking outside, remembering it all,
    Seeing happen, happen so clear.
I knock and knock as I try call,
but nothing comes out, I think; oh dear.

Something so strong, so strong it hits me.
I blink, once, twice, and maybe once more
I think to myself- what could it be?
A small apple, eaten to the core.

No- no, that's not what hit me
for what it is the the felling of hate.

Winter, Spring, Summer, Fall
Those Are all of the seasons
But if One were Sick and Called
Would they have good Reasons?

If Winter Were gone Who would rest
All of the plants would wilt
They would not get their beauty sleep and end up not being the best

If Spring Was gone would the animals wake
Would they toss and turn waiting to learn their Fate
Or would they sleep soundly dreaming of yummy Cake

If Summer were gone would there be pools
Would the children play all through the day
Or would they be spinning sweaters from spools

If Fall were gone who would paint the leaves
Would the Yellow and red become long dead and stay green
Would the fall to the ground or would they stay up on the branch that not being a peeve

All of the Seasons play important rolls in the life of the earth
Spring, Summer, Winter, Fall
Each Giving Rebirth

N a m e:
Rhapsody
At first, this kiamara reminded me of the song 'Bohemian Rhapsody' by Queen, because of her fluid designs and vivd colors. The way the teal stands out against her sunset-like coat sort of parallels the story in the song. As the singer sings about accepting his death, a bizarre and wonderful opera session begins, effectively changing the direction of the entire song. Rhapsody's spots are, in essence, the opera.
A rhapsody in music is defined as having an air of spontaneous inspiration and free-flowing, which I though matched here rebel-like presence. This spontaneous inspiration and freedom is also what I wanted to hint at in my sonnet.

The crack of dawn is when I'm most alive
The light now filters through my window pane
Alert and focused, every morning starts
With quietude and stillness, all the same.

'Tis vital, slip past snoring folks with care
But I have mastered all the stealth and calm
One needs to reach the crisp and open air.
A step outside, the world is in my palm.

The sky burns red and orange, welcomes me
To listen to the birds and feel the wind
Upon my smiling face and past the trees.
It fuels me, makes me run to clear my mind.

New day, new thoughts, new possibilities.
My happy place, the day is mine to seize

The name Avena is Latin meaning "to desire"

♦Poem:♦

Thy gain is nothing but fierce will
Effort thy pain is shrill
Struggles shroud thy truth
Leaving scars of shallow past

Soul hiding in shadows, evil delighting in denial
Where be thy loss, memories haunt one's self.
The force of lies, the love of truth
One can never tell apart the lullaby of sweet agony

Hostility, the escape of the true feelings
Locked the chain and lock of the heart
Never wanting to run nor hide
From darkness sweeping through one's mind

Let thy sorrows drown along in thy flooding river of crumbling emotions
Free me from these chains that eternally bind me.

Staff Kiamara #5 - Koiley

Sonnet;:
The sands of time flow like a clumsy creek,
Tumbling, turning, flowing on like the years,
As the water falls off the little peak,
So does the time, bringing short bouts of fear.

But can the sand compare to the other?
For sand stands still unless moving downhill,
Water flows on to give to another,
Until all combine and some even spill.

"The waters of time" is better suited,
For a quote so long often disputed.
