See, here we have a problem. He refers to himself as Strife - the son of Eris, the greek godess of discord - but he allows others to call him Craig, a fitting name that means 'dwells on the crag'. That is how I see him, dwelling at the edge of a dark crag, dark sea crashing in to it.
But he mostly goes by Craig.

Craig is a bit of a lost soul. When he was nothing but a helpless, tiny, blind pup, he was abandoned. Left to die in the Shadows. But he lived, saved by Shadow and Night, he named himself Strife, the son of the Greek godess of discord, Eris. Claiming that he brought nothing to the world but strife and anger, Craig lived his life alone in the shadows, learning over the shoulders of others. He quickly learned to read and became attached to the ancient greek myhtology, where he found his so called mother, Eris in the old dusty volumes.
Growing up like that greatly shaped his personality, making him asocial and quiet. It took him quite a while to learn to talk and he still doesn't like it all that much. He is one of those who never show affection or appreciation, but who will give their lives to the few they like without a second thought.

I remember. I was sitting in the shadows of a playground, decorated with various slides and swings in discustingly bright colors, watching all of the other stupid kids run around, yelling.
There was only one reason as to why I was there, only one possible reason. He’d dragged me there, claiming it would be fun.
It wasn’t.
He was my best friend, my only friend. I didn’t know his name but it didn’t matter. After all, I didn’t have one myself.
But he called me Craig, a horribly trivial and boring name, but I couldn’t bring myself to tell him, my only friend, that.
So I let him.


He hadn’t spotted me yet, but I could see him searching for me among the others, craning his neck and turning his head. Silly, did he really think I’d play? And then he saw me, half hidden in the shadow beneath one of the awful, brightly colored slides.
“Craig!” He yelled and smiled.
I sat compleatly still and let him run up to me.
“I almost couldn’t find you! You can’t live your entire life in the shadows, you know” He said and smiled at me again. That smile, it was so beautiful, as if he actually meant it.
I mearly gave him a look that said “Oh yeah? You watch me!”



“What’s your name?” A kiamara around my age had found me hidden in mt shadow. I flinched and inched away from him.
“C’mon! Just tell me your name!” He smiled and inched even closer to me. Jeez, get a hint!
I got up and backed away.
“Fine, you won’t tell me. Then I’ll call you..:”He adopted a thoughtful face.” Craig!”
A horrified expression flashed across my face. Craig?! Nono, I’m Strife. I’m the lost son of Eris, godess of discord and my name is not Craig.
But it seemed as if he either missed or ignored my resentment, for instead of changing his mind he just asked;
“Hey Craig, wanna play?”



But today he isn’t coming. He doesn’t find me in the shadows, doesn’t come sit with me beacuse I refuse to play. Doesn’t even look.
Doesn’t come.
I can feel the resentment building, feel it twist and turn in my gut, bubbling up my throat.
I walk to the place were I know he lives. Watches as he plays with his father, as he eats his dinner. As his mother reads him a goodnight story. As he sleeps.
I wait. And when his whole family is sleeping, I slipp and slide through the shadows, all the way to where he sleeps.


And I grab his throat.
He stirrs as I throttle him, opening his eyes.
His blue eyes stare into my own glowing orbs, filled with fear, panic and shock.
I smile.
I am Strife.

"Good day, young sir! How have you been?"
Alohamora: "Blood"
Interviewer: "Umm..Surely so! So, how old are you?"
Aloha: "21"
Interviewer: "And so. You're gender is male, correct?"
Aloha: "If I were female, I wouldn't be here tonight"
Interviewer: "Haha, alright! Now. You are a famous murderer that strikes on Halloween, correct?"
Aloha: ~Nod~ "Surely"
Interviewer: "So, you like to 'work for the devil'? If so, why?"
Aloha: "I do. It is because the aspect of my life has been harsh. The only reputations I have are bad ones. The only help I get is from him and the devil inside me. It will no longer be a problem once I get the loneliness out of my head and I'm back in the game."
Interviewer: "Ah, skip the questions. I want to know about your past. What you're feeling right now."
Aloha:
"Well..Alright." ~He sits up~ "I was born on Halloween, October 31st. Not a regular birthday for a Kiamara, is it? No. Well. I was said to be a curse to my family. Or maybe even a blessing.
It was gloomy, that night, you see. The moon was a rusty yellow, as if someone had stained it orangey yellow. The wind was blowing hard, and my mother had trouble giving birth. She soon later had 2 of us. She lost me in an avalanche soon after, and I never looked back. I had a feeling she abandoned me, so I went to go restore myself in a basement for the warmth. It was a human house of course, and my father was nowhere to be seen. We lived up in the mountains, you see. About the age of 5 I started to forget about my old life and begin a new one. I found a very large den. I didn't know it belonged to a bear who was about to go into hibernation. It attacked me that night. I wouldn't have survived if the Devil hadn't been standing before me, you know? And anyway, he took me in as if he were his own. Who knew he could be so...Generous? he grew me up into what I am today. A proud murderer on the night he lets his subjects free. I'm like, his closest son. Oh. I once had a girlfriend, too. But you know..Problems. Heh. Also. The tattoo on my leg -the skull- isn't really what I was born with. I had it tattooed for the devil to be proud of his son even more. I then finally got my first scythe. The scythe is somewhere where you can't find it..
In the depths of Tartarus, and around the corner to the Gates of Helheim. Can't find it there or you burn alive. Luckily, for me, I'm awesome.
Interviewer:
"Wow...One more question for tonight. Where did you get those bones and such?"
Aloha:
~He shrugged~ "the bones are my ex's ex when I wanted revenge on him for a purpose you don't need to know.
And the feathers I plucked from his favorite bird before I killed him" ~He coughs at the silence, and then the camera shuts off; The interview is over~
