Story of how you met your Shugorei: I walked down the road, a few grains of dirt managing to find the insides of my shoes, a soft white mist surrounding me. "Hello?" I called, my voice quiet and raised with curiosity. A streak of bright blue danced around the pitch black. A flame. My eyes were attracted to the light, the brilliant color reflecting my eyes. More of these flames started to erupt, giving my head a spinning motion. I felt a small jab and my knees gave up. My whole body hit the floor. 

"What?" I muttered, getting up and spotting a cat like animal at my side. Her eyes stared into mine as I sat up. They were blue and I remembered the color. Flames, dancing. She sat silently as if she were trying to be a statue. I knew she was real, as the small lantern she was holding flickered with life. My hand reached out with curiosity of a five year olds, and it hit the soft fur of this creature. Was I going mad? She flinched once and finally spoke, "Most everyone's mad here"

I decided to choose the name Chessur because it seemed unfitting for it to be named anything else.
Gender: Female
Affinity: Pure
Personality: If you were to describe Chessur in a few words, many would say she is a mischievous, cunning, loyal, witty, trouble-making Shugorei. She's the type of Shugorei that would prefer watching madness break out rather than participate in it, as it amuses her. She enjoys saying things that may baffle or confuse people and really make them think. When Chessur gets bored, she will typically float around and complain until she has something to do. She is very loyal to her partner, and will be hostile to most others.
Guess of which character it is: It's the Cheshire cat, my favorite character, from the Tim Burton Alice in Wonderland movie, my favorite movie. The movie I've seen enough times to be able to quote almost every line, [The ones where the Mad Hatter is speaking quickly are the only ones I can't quote because I can't speak quickly.] and make my friend hate all of the songs from it.
Story of how you met your Shugorei: The ticking noise of the pocket watch caught my attention as I stood up from under a tree. Turning in the direction of the forest, I saw a white rabbit standing at the tree line looking down at a pocket watch. As soon as it noticed me, it shut the pocket watch and turned around, running off into the woods. For a split second, I questioned my sanity before I followed it. It was easy to keep sight of, as the white fur stood out against the earthy tones of the forest. I continued this chase for quite some time. When suddenly, the rabbit seemed to disappear. That's at least what I thought had happened, until I noticed there was an over-sized hole in the ground. I peered down into the hole, unable to see an end. I threw all my reasoning to the wind and decided it was to late to stop the pursuit. And with that, I jumped down the hole. I noticed several unusual things as I was falling, like a piano, a grandfather clock, and a bed, all of them embedded in the soil that made up the side of the hole. The impact with the ground was sudden and unexpected. I landed in a room with several doors of different shapes and sizes and a table with a key and a small bottle on it in the center. All of the doors were locked when I tried them, and the key only opened the smallest one, which I could barely even fit my head through. I sighed and went back to the table, reexamining the bottle on it. It had a label tied around the neck that read "drink me". I didn't see anything else I could do, so I popped the cork out and drank a sip of the bottle's contents. I began to cough and gag at the taste of the unknown liquid. Then suddenly, my body started to feel weird, and everything around me appeared to be growing, but I soon realized that wasn't the case. It was me who was changing size. I had shrank. I had shrank down to the perfect size to fit through the now unlocked door, actually, and that's exactly where I went. On the other side of the door, their was a whole other world. I saw a rocking horsefly and flowers with faces in the distance. I wasn't sure where to go now, and the rabbit I had followed here was no where in sight. I looked around in all directions for a moment, before picking a random direction to go in.
Soon, I ended up in a forest. I heard a rustling sound and thought I saw a flash of bright blue. I wasn't sure if it was just my imagination or not, so I continued walking. The same thing happened again, but I decided to keep walking. The same thing happened a third time, only I stopped and didn't ignore it this time. I called out, asking if someone was there. There was yet another rustle in the trees. I waited a moment and a large, crescent-shaped grin appeared followed by the body of a cat-like creature. I stood there, staring at it for a while, before finally asking for it's name. The creature replied speaking in riddles of sorts, but I was able to determine that it's name was Chessur. I replied by telling it my name in return, not that it had seemed to be eager to hear it, though. I talk with Chessur for quite a while, getting to know her, and enjoyed unraveling her riddle speak. She seemed slightly surprised and almost impressed that I understood most of what she said without difficulty.
Eventually, I decided I should probably leave soon, so I asked her for advice of where I should go to. However, instead of showing me the way home, I ended up being led all around the land I had learned was the Wonderland. Together with Chessur, I went to a tea party with the Mad Hatter, March Hare, and Door mouse, avoided being beheaded by the Red Queen, and bumped into the white rabbit again, along with two strange fellows named Tweedledee and Tweedledum, and a blue caterpillar named Absalom. After all of this, Chessur could tell I want to go home, despite the fun we were having. She pulled out a small bottle with a thick purple liquid inside, and told me I had to drink it in order to leave. I thanked her before opening it, thinking it could be any worse than the drink I had drank to fit through the door to get here, and said my good-byes. I downed the purple liquid and soon everything went black.
I woke up lieing against a tree. I figured I must have just dosed off. Does that mean all of that was a dream? It felt so real, though. I looked around at my surrounding and noticed the creature sleeping at my feet..
