Black ballet shoes are her favourite items. Why? Because she loves to dance! It is her favourite thing to do, without dance she would be miserable and find it hard to move on in life. But dancing helps her get over things, it helps her get to her happy place and feel truly at peace with herself and the people around her. The fact her ballet shoes are black symbolises that she is unique and doesn't want pink ones, but also that life can be plain and still be wonderful. Aria wouldn't want anything else as ballet shoes, not only because she wants them to be plain so creatures would concentrate on her, not the shoe, but also because they were given to her by her mother the day before she passed away.

Backstory: It’s wicked how things can shatter like broken glass, as quick as an evil lightning strike. You don’t understand the meaning of life until it’s lost, and by then it’s far too late. This is the tale of how cruel things can be sometimes, but you must always keep going.

It was the day after my mother gave me the most gorgeous ballet shoes. She had always been a keen dancer, and she had given me them hoping I would follow in her dainty footsteps. They were shiny and black, with ribbons to tie around your ankles, and inside she had marked ‘with all my love’ using some sort of white ink. It was perfect, but perfection can be misleading.

My mother and I had finished practising ballet, and apparently I was marvellous. A true born dancer, she had said, as she lay down and relaxed her aching muscles. She looked so worn-out, so I offered to go and hunt for us. My mother smiled at me and left me to go out, and so I did.

Now we can skip some of this. All you need to know is I left my mother and went into the forest, caught some prey, and hurried back in hope that she would be pleased. When I got back to her, I shoved the bird in front of her nose, and looked into her eye. What I saw was not a pretty sight. Her eyes were rolled back into her skull, and all I have the guts to say is that something killed her, and my heart had plummeted like a stone in water.

I blamed her death on me. I left her once, and, with tears streaming down my face I left her again, for good.

Note: Even though she has a tragic past, she isn't a sorrowful wreck now. She often tries to be optimistic <3

Kias name: His name shall be Mousse. I chose this name because it is slightly symbolic. It rhymes (and is often mistaken for) moose. This is symbolic, because Mousse is always trying to become stronger, better, and faster. He's very talented, and is used to praise. However, it does not mean that he likes it and/or believes it. Mousse actually suffers from Atelophobia, though it's hard to tell. With his cool exterior and usually emotionless face, that is. Only close people notice the small things, quirks that he has which reveal what he's actually feeling.

Personality: Often stoic, quiet, intelligent, strategic, and very protective of his 'treasured ones'. Quite the heartthrob, isn't he? With his top scores and the fact that he's perfect at nearly anything and everything. However, dating is simply something he's never done, and doesn't even seem interested in. With girls flocking him all the time, you'd think that at least one would catch his eyes! But no- Nope nope nope! He's too preoccupied trying to become stronger, and doesn't seem to find any interest in love. Perhaps he's asexual? Homosexual? Well that would be bitter sweet (like dark chocolate xD).

Favorite item: He always carries a little pouch of vanilla beans. Mousse hasn't told many this (he doesn't talk much anyway), but he actually loves vanilla. The scent, the flavor, the word- everything! Especially the color of the flower, the pureness, the perfection... Something he strives for endlessly, under his confident shell. Vanilla just calms him, makes things feel okay. He simply can't get enough! I think you can guess how it secretly peeves him when people relate him to chocolate. A glare usually shuts them up though.
