Avalon

Avalon's name basically means "island" or "apple", and the origin of the name is Celtic.
After doing some research I see that it is basically a unisex name, where some say
it is a female name while others say it is name. In this case, it is a male name.
I chose this name based on the meaning and where he lives.

Manden is 18 and his birthday is July 16th, 1995.


Manden's favorite place is at his local library. Out of all the places to read at he enjoys this one the best. Manden normally spends the entire day there. He dreams of someday becoming a librarian there. He love about ever genre of book except for horror. He absolutely can't stand horror novels or movies.

The sparrows scattered as Manden walked up the stairs to the library with Jerico. A little earlier his friend Eden had asked him to take the young bean to the library. He felt a rush of warm air as he entered the library, it felt nice. Signs of fall were showing up everywhere, including the colder weather. Manden glanced back at Jerico. He was still quite small, but that was expected of a young bean. Both of the beans were silent as they made their way into the library. Manden waved to the other librarians. Since he spent so much time there he had gotten familiar with the librarians. He noted that Jerico wasn't looking at anyone, just strait ahead. "So, is there any book section you want to look at?" Manden asks. Jerico said nothing in reply, he just shrugged. "Alright then..." Manden said with a sigh. He turned his head forward and continued walking. Up ahead was the children's room. Maybe there is something he will like there... Manden thinks. Manden stops as they enter the children's room. Manden glances around the room. "Lets look at those books." Jerico says suddenly pointing to the left. The mane on Manden's neck sticks up a little. He glances over to where Jerico was pointing. He sees a book case with a sign that reads "Scary Stories." He begins to feel nervous. Manden was terrified of those books. "No, I don't think you want to look at those.." Manden says trying to convince Jerico. "But I do want to look there." Jerico says in reply. "Are you-" Manden tries to say before he is interrupted by Jerico's voice. "Yes! Im positive!". Manden let out a sigh. "Alright then..." He says with a tone of defeat. Both beans walk over to the scary stories, Jerico with a more fast pace then Manden. Jerico scans the books carefully. Suddenly his eyes stop moving. Manden walks over to the little bean and glances at the books. Jerico stands up on his tiny legs and tries to reach for a book. Manden quickly notices the young beans struggle and reaches for the book. "Hey! I could of gotten it..." Jerico says trying to prove himself. "Sure you could have." Manden says with a slight smile. He hands the book over to Jerico, who grabs it eagerly. "This is my favorite book..." Jerico says then trails off. Manden takes a peak at the title of the book." Frankenstein". He feels a spark of admiration for Jerico. For he would never have the courage to read it. "Alright then lets, check it out." he says to Jerico. And the two of them head to the check out desk. Both with a small newfound small admiration for each other.


Tranquil
Manden is the kind of bean who hates violence. He sees no purpose to it and if he tries to never hurt any one. Emotionally and physically. Perhaps this trait is the reason he loves the library. It is quite a tranquil place that seldom has any loud noises. Manden is also tranquil. He has a quit tone of voice, so he rarely yells or shouts.
Bashful
Manden is not the one to try to draw attention to himself, instead he does the opposite. He would rather be in the background and unnoticed. It is due to this trait that he does not interact with many beans. He rarely goes to big parties or any event with large crowds and enjoys just being with a few friends or even just being alone. Making new friends does not come naturally to Manden. Its not that he is aloof it is just that when ever he tries talking to a newcomer he gets easily embarrasses.
Knowledgeable
As one would expect from someone who reads quite a bit Manden is knowledgeable. His head is filled to the brim with facts. If you have a question chances are Manden will know the answer. He easily answers friends questions. However, when he answers the questions of beans he doesn't know well he often stutters. Sounding unsure of himself.



Walking
Due to his long legs Manden takes big strides and when walking with someone he often gets ahead. In result he tries to take smaller strides when in the presence of another but this makes his walking look odd.
The lobeira
Manden's favorite fruit is the lobeira fruit. It is also known as the wolf apple as it is eaten by the maned wolf. He often uses the loberia fruit in other foods such as smoothies. Occasionally you will find one of these fruits in his pouch.

Carión is a name of Greek origin which means something alonge the lines of beautiful and graceful.
I myself find maned wolves to be one of the most beautiful kinds of wolves, but they are by far the
most graceful one of their kind. To me, they look like they are dancing rather than walking, so
I think the name suits this bean pretty well.
