Name of Liontail: Cervina
IN DEPTH Personality: Cervina is an overwhelmingly intelligent and overly perceptive mare who spots every move, every falter in voice and action with a gaze that seems to pierce into one soul. She not often speaks and shows little to no affection, instead siding for a life of solitude and ease without the company of others. Speaking of company, Cervina loathes large crowds and roaming herds, using any excuse she can find to part ways and to return to her forest home where she's most comfortable. She's very protective of her home though and is very strict on trespassers, usually warning them off with subtle threats and if need be, a lunge of her quick hooves. But, overall Cervina is for the most part peaceful and one could say she is shy as well.
Brief History: Cervina trotted through the growing underbrush, lifting her pale hooves with each high step. She flicked her tail and scented the air, her ever passive face still emotionless in the early light of the day. Nothing seemed out of the ordinary so she picked up the pace, taking longer strides and easily maneuvering through her forest home. Yet, a small sound caught her ears and immediately she tilted her head and snorted curiously. Inch by inch she moved in closer, walking through a long set of ears before the unmistakable flash of tawny fur caught her eyes. As if scenting her sudden fear, the big cat launched at her unprotected back, clinging on and emitting a feral snarl. Cervina bucked and twisted under it's grasp, feeling it's claws slicing deep wounds into her coat. But, at last she made a last minute decision, throwing herself to the ground and therefore breaking the creatures back. Slowly she struggled to her feet and watched as it took its last breath, fear still brimming in her eyes. Since then she has been afraid of the forest's big cats, but for good reason.
