Hello there! My name is PurpleDirewolf2015, but I go by Purple, Dire, or Wolf.



Zakai. Zakai is a hebrew name meaning "pure, clean, and innocent". Though most people just call him Zak, pronounced just like Zach.


Zakai is a sweet little boy. So here are some words that describe him.
Playful
Zakai is very playful and energetic ball of fluff, that will just play all day. He loves to play with his sister, but he feels he sometimes plays a bit rough even though Avery doesn't seem to mind. He is always looking for something to do because he literally can't sit still unless he's painting. He loves to wrestle with friends and family, but it's all in good fun. He is very quick to do anything that seems exciting to him, whether it's exploring or a new game, he'll try it at least once. However, he always listens to his parents, not being one to want to get into trouble.
Affectionate
Zakai is definitely a mama's boy, not in the negative way, but he'll do anything to make her happy. Not that he wouldn't do that for any of his family, but he feels a very strong bond with his mom. He values his family over all else, and believes he has the best family in the world, even though there is the occasional sibling fight with Avery. He often paints his family pictures of him and them together as a present and to show just how much he loves his very large family.
Artistic
Zakai, aside from running around and play wrestling, loves to paint. Right now, it's nothing magnificent, being only a baby, but he loves it none the less. Sometimes he has to take extra long bathes just to wash out all the paint he gets on him, although it seems to match his spots. Right now, he paints anything and everything that catches his eye: trees, family, friends, grass, bugs, clouds, flowers, you name it. He hopes that one day he may become an artist, but that is a long way away.
Friendly
Zakai is a super friendly kiamara that can be friends with nearly everyone. The only kias he feels he couldn't be friends with are kias who severely dislike his art. He would be the one to talk to a kia that is sitting alone. The only kia that he seems to have fights with is his sister Avery, but it's normal for siblings to fight every once in a while.

Anais-Mother
Zakai is definitely is mom's baby boy. He'd do anything she asks him to do in a heartbeat, just to make her happy. He frequently draws and paints her pictures just to show how much he loves her. He loves to cuddle with her, to sleep near her, pretty much anything to be near her. You can almost say that he ha a crush on his mom, but it's not uncommon for young boys to have crushes on their mom.

Ruadh-Dad
Zakai loves his daddy, just in a slightly different way than he loves his mommy. He sees Ruadh as a giant play toy. A lot of the time after Avery decides she has had enough of him play wrestling her, he'll go wrestle dad, even though he is way outmatched. But sometimes he knows that dad lets him win, and he enjoys the feeling of conquering his father. He feels there is a lot of things he can learn from his daddy. One day, he hopes to be just like him.

Avery-Sister
Now his relationship with Avery is a very brotherly one. He loves his sister so much, but he often doesn't know how to show it. He loves to play with her, but he knows sometimes he plays too rough, but he means well. He is still trying to figure out how to play with her in a way that they could both enjoy. He is also uber protective of Avery. No one picks on his sister and gets away with it. He also often paints her pictures as a way of showing how he really does love and care for her.

Soliel-Aunt
Zakai loves his Aunt Soliel. Soliel always seems to want to spoil him and Avery with what she calls "berries", which is really just candy. He is quite confused at the moment around Soliel though because she keeps saying that his cousins are in her belly. He sees that her belly is big, but he doesn't exactly understand pregnancy yet. He is just excited that he is going to have some new playmates soon even though he sometimes thinks Soliel ate them.

Bruce- Uncle
Zakai thinks that Bruce is a fun loving Uncle. He is usually the brains behind the adventures that Soliel thinks up for them. Since Soliel is pregnant, Bruce is usually the one looking after or watching him and Avery when its their turn to babysit. WIP

Ocean-Uncle
Zakai loves it when his Uncle Ocean comes to visit. Ocean finds a fun way to interact with both him and Avery. For Zakai, Ocean often models for Zakai's paintings. Zakai knows his Uncle Ocean is a bit more childish than his other uncles, but that's what he loves about him.

Aang-Uncle
Zakai hasn't really got the chance to meet his Uncle. He's seen him a few times, but that's pretty much it. Regardless, he thinks that when he does get the chance to meet and spend time with Aang, he'll be pretty cool.

Summer Melody-Aunt
Zakai thinks that Summer Melody is the kindest out of all his aunts and uncles. Don't get him wrong, he loves all of them, but to him, Melody is the sweetest. She's just always so nice to both him and his sister. Plus, she looks similar to Ocean, probably his favorite Uncle.

Taero-Aunt
Because Zakai hasn't really spent time with Aang, he hasn't really spent time with Taero either. But he thinks she's pretty cool off of what he has heard.



It was a sunny afternoon and Avery and Zakai were being babysat by their loving Aunt Soliel and Uncle Bruce. Zakai went outside to his easel and started to paint random things. One painting was of a butterfly; another was of a bird, pretty much anything he saw was fair game. He looked over at Avery and saw her lying in the grass bored.

“Why are you so bored Avery? There’s lots of stuff to do.” Zak asked her.

Avery looked over at him. “But I’ve already done all that stuff. I want to do something exciting. Something I haven’t done before.”


Little did they know, their Uncle Bruce was watching them from inside. He overheard the whole conversation and turned to Aunt Soliel, who was resting on the couch. “Well, I think that’s our cue. Go hide the stuff.”

Aunt Soliel smiled and got up. “I hope they have fun with this.”

Uncle Bruce laughed. “I know they will.”

A little while later, Zak was still painting and Avery was lying on her belly picking at the grass. They both perked up a little as Uncle Bruce came outside, trying hard to read some sort of paper. He kept turning it sideways, and every which way as if the writing was written in all direction.

Avery was the first to ask the obvious question. “What are you reading, Uncle Bruce?”

Uncle Bruce looked at both kids. “Oh, this? Oh, it’s nothing.”

This sparked Zak’s curiosity. “Let us see!”

Uncle Bruce smiled. “Oh, very well. I found this ages ago. It’s a treasure map. You see, your parents hid a treasure here a long time ago. Every time I come over I try to find it, but I always leave empty handed. Maybe you two will have better luck. Here you go.”

He gave the map to Avery, who immediately had her eyes glued to it. Zak abandoned his easel and walked over to his sister, trying to get glimpses of the map in her hands. From what he saw, there were squiggly dotted lines going in every which direction, leading to some weird looking landmarks. There were also written instructions that they apparently also had to follow.

Avery smiled and gave the map to Zak. “Hold on, I’ll be right back.” She said running off somewhere. A few minutes later she returned wearing an eye patch. “Arrg! I think we be ready to search for buried treasurrrrre.” she said in a pirate accent.
Zak laughed a little bit before he decided to read the first clue. “Find the tree that loves to hug.”

Avery gave Zak a weird look. “Trees don’t hug people, they can’t move.”

Zak returned Avery’s look. “It probably means to find a tree with two outstretched branches, looking like it’s going to hug you, like this.” he said putting his arms out to hug Avery. He quickly stepped forward and wrapped his arms around her, in a bear hug. “See?”

Avery squealed and shoved him away. “Ok I get it. But now that you mention it, we have a tree that looks like that in the front yard! Come on!” she said as she grabbed Zak and nearly dragged him around to the front yard and right up to the tree. “Tree ahoy! I told you.”

Zak glared at her for a moment before picking up the map. “It looks here we are suppose to follow the direction that the right branch is pointing until we reach this weird looking smiling rock.”

Avery studied the tree and then decided on the correct direction. “Then let’s go!”

They walked with each other for a few minutes quietly before Zak spoke up. “What to you think the treasure is?”

Avery smiled. “Maybe mom and dad hid gold. I mean, why else would Uncle Bruce have been looking for it if it wasn’t valuable?”

Zak laughed. “Maybe they hid jewels like rubies, emeralds, and sapphires. Maybe they hid gold and jewels. Maybe the…..umph.” Zak said as he tripped over a rock. “Stupid rock.” He mumbled as Avery bent down to look at the rock.

“Hey Zak, look at shape of this rock. It looks like it’s laughing at you.” She said giggling herself.

Zak got up and dusted himself off. “Well then, looks like we’re on the right track. Next is says to look around for this flower, and when the sun is at it’s highest in the sky, the flower will show us where to go next.”

After reading the next instruction, Zak looked up at the sky. “Hurry Avery! The sun is almost at its highest point!” He said as he looked for a flower matching the picture on the map. However it was Avery that found it first.

“Over here! Look at it’s shadow, it look like that’s what going to point us in the right direction.” She said proudly. They waited a few more minutes until the sun was in the right spot, and then followed the shadow. It led them back into the back yard.

Zak sighed. “Great. We’re back where we started.”

Then Avery grabbed the map. “Hold on, look at this! It says ‘When all seems lost, and you feel tossed, take a nap to fill the gap. But beware the monsters who guard the treasure.’”

Zak looked at Avery. “What is that supposed to mean?”

Avery rolled up that map and smiled. “It means, I know where the treasure is! Come on!” she said running inside and up to their room. “The treasure is under one of our beds!”

They quickly looked under both of their beds, and each of them pulled out a small chest. Without saying anything, they looked at each other and smiled before they each opened their chest. Inside, the chest was filled with candy! They picked up their chests and ran to where Uncle Bruce and Aunt Soliel were.

“We found them! We found the treasure!” they exclaimed with big smiles on their faces.

Aunt Soliel smiled and looked at Uncle Bruce. “It seems you are right. They did enjoy our little treasure hunt.”

Zak looked surprised. “Wait. You set this whole thing up?”

Aunt Soliel nodded. “Yup. It was all our idea to give you something fun to do today. I hope you enjoy the berries.”

Just then Anais and Ruadh returned. The looked at bit surprised to see their kids with a small chests full of candy, but after they exchanged glances, they sighed and smiled.

“You may keep the candy, but don’t eat it all in one day.” Anais said.

Ruadh then spoke up. “And what do you say to your Aunt and Uncle for watching you and giving you candy?”

Zak and Avery smiled, and hugged their Aunt and Uncle. “Thank you for the candy and the fun afternoon.”

Uncle Bruce nodded. “Anytime. We will just have to come up with something even better next time.”

This little boy is my absolute dream kia. My favorite color is purple, I love rainbow colors (his spots), I really want a male, and I have a bunch of friends in this kia family and I'd like to join it as well. I am fairly active in the fan forum chat, so he wouldn't ever get neglected. This kia just means a lot to me. It's no contest that he is the one I've worked my hardest to win out of all the kias I've tried for. He is just so perfect in every way.

Okay, so this will be an all-out contest. This boy had BETTER go to a good home (I shall watch you..... <.< >.>) or else >:I I will be judging mostly on creativity and effort, although quality is nice too c: I LOVELOVELOVE new and original ideas, unique things about the form. That's what REALLY catches my eye. I also lovelovelove histories. They don't have to be tragic and whatnot (although those are very interesting) since I'd like to have had them grow up with the family, and I know Anais would spoil them rotten <33 Ooh, and stories, I love stories. whether they're short moments or long histories. A HUUUUUUUGE thing for me: SPELLING AND GRAMMAR. I have extreme OCD when it comes to spelling and grammar, I notice it like a hawk. I suggest you get someone to check it over, or use spellcheck at the least. So no, I will not be very happy with a form tht is riten lik dis. As for art? Quality or Quantity, you guys always ask. I'd really love to see both. If you have only a few amazing, expressive pieces I'll love that! And if you have a ton of not-so-amazing pieces but they still show character, that's awesome too! But even better is when you mix the two. And should art be by you or ordered from an expensive artist? Well if it's by you it shows you took time and effort with it, and you really care, and if you order it shows you'd give stuff up for him. So again, I'd say both. Although please, don't spend every single rare you have in this contest, it's just heartbreaking when people do that and lose </3 Creativity. Originality. Not just 'oh ye hes always happy and nothing else evr!' and a bunch of headshots or standing poses all in the same pose;; An intricate personality with little quirks and details that make him unique, and art that expresses his personality, hobbies, history, values.... That's what I want to see in forms.
I expect you to be active on both fanclubs and rp with the family often; it's a HUGE booster if you're already active on the fanclub. I WILL be looking to see how active you are with other characters.

So what I like to see in forms is effort, obviously. I don't value skill as much effort, and less is more in my opinion. I also love to know what the name you chose means, so a meaning would be a-ma-zing. Hm... I like creativity, that's for sure. And uniqueness of course. Ahm... Wow this is hard, haha. Ooo, backstories are fun! I love hearing about pasts! But I'm personally not a big fan of uber tragic pasts with blood and death, those annoy me a lot. A simple one is perfect. Ooo, I love stuff based around songs, or a lyric-less song to listen to while I read. Yeah, I think that's it. cx

Likes;; Reminder likes watching sad stories that are very touching in the end. He likes reading- a lot, because it makes him feel like he is in another world, exploring different wonders. He loves being outside and always loves nature. Flowers, plants, trees and lots more.

Greatest Fear;;

Reminder's greatest fear is failure. He hates letting other people down and always likes things finished and done. It's very hard to convince him to give up on something that he is trying for, because he is just so determined to finish it. Whenever he knows he has failed, he usually has a major break down.

History;;

Reminder has a life like every other Kiamara does. He was born into a loving family with an older sister that always took care of him. In his family, he was always closest to his sister, and farthest away from his dad, because Ruadh was always so strict or too busy to play with Reminder, so over the years that came, he drifted father and farther away.

Reminder has always dreamed of becoming a famous Kiamara explorer one day, helping the Kia world in some way, so he spends most of his time exploring around with Avery or just inspecting something, hoping to find something new. No matter how many times other Kiamara said the dream was ridiculous, Reminder never gives up.

Over the years that pasted, Reminder grew older and started to realize that the dream was kind of crazy, and started to spend less time exploring, but deep down, he still had a little bit of hope.

Avery -
"Wake up sleepy head!" Reminder said as he jumped on his sister. "You've been sleeping for like- forever!"
"Okay, okay! I'm up." She said, squinting at the bright light that was right in her face. "Yes, I know that I promised you to go to the forest. I'll be ready in a sec, so now, please give me my privacy." Pushing Reminder out of the door. Quickly, he ran downstairs and jumped around, super excited to go to the forest, since Avery said it was super cool. Around 5 minutes later, Avery got out of her room and walked down the stairs.
"Mom! Dad! I'm taking Reminder out for a walk!" She said.
"We will be back soon!" Reminder added, and without a reply they both ran out the door, out into the cool morning air. It was a humid and foggy day, so they decided to walk around the long way. Soon, they reached the small forest and both walked into the shade. Birds chipped all around them and Reminder looked up and did a small twirl.
"Woah! It's amazing!" he said, looking at Avery.
"It is, isn't it?" she replied. "Hey do you want to have some fun?"
"Sure!" he said back quickly because he was already getting a bit bored. Avery nodded and started to walk off towards a trail off to the right, and Reminder followed close behind. After another ten minutes, they finally reached a small pond.
"We are here!" Avery announced, smiling, then, surprising Reminder, she jumped into the pond. "Come on! It feels great in here!"

After Reminder jumped in, they spent the rest of the morning splashing each other, playing and laughing, until they got super tired and decided to head back home, soaking wet.




Anais -
"Wakey wakey, my morning sunshine!" Anais said and gently woke Reminder up. "Remember today is baking day!" Reminder loves to bake, so Anais had planned out a 'baking day' for him, which was every Sunday morning, which was when they had no other activity around.
"Uhmmppp" Reminder said as he turned around to avoid the sunlight that was streaming through his room.
"Come on.... you promised you mommy!" She said again, turning Reminder back and giving him puppy eyes. Reminder stared back at her for a moment, then they both started bursting into laughs.
"Okay! I'm up" he replied and pounced up. "Can we pleeasee make chocolate chip cookies today?" When he heard his mom's reply, which was a yes, he jumped up, did a mini dance around his room then sprinted downstairs to get the ingredients ready.
Together, they spent the morning and the afternoon punching cookie dough, rolling cookie dough balls and pouring chocolate chips everywhere. By the time they were done, that had already made 8 batches of 12 cookies on each platter, baking each one slowly in the oven.
"Are those chocolate chip cookies I smell?" Avery said as she bounded down the stairs, sniffing the air.
"Of course it is dummy!" Reminder replied. "Come over if you want to taste one! Later on there won't be anymore left because we are giving 7 batches to charity!"

After about an hour of enjoying their amazing cookies, Anais and Reminder did go to the church and gave them 7 neatly wrapped boxes, saying that it should be given to the poor. Leaving the church, Anais said "You know, I don't think I've ever felt so awesome!" And without an answer, Reminder started laughing again.





Ruadh -
"C'mon li'l sunny boy! It's time to go see the sunrise!" Ruadh said as he shook Reminder awake. "You said that you would come with me yesterday night!"
"Urmmph... I know, I know" Reminder said. "I'll be ready in about 10 minutes." He got up and did his morning things and sloopeed down the stairs and walked over to the front door. It was still dark outside and he still didn't get why he needed to wake up so early just to go see the sun- something that they saw every single day!
"I know you will love it!" His dad said as they hiked along long and rocky cliffside path. "When my dad first brought me, I thought that it was meaningless until I actually saw it! So lets hurry up and get to the peak!"
"I know that- but I highly doubt that this will impress me.." Reminder said, squinting at the grey sky, then looked up at Ruadh. "Dad, are we there yet? My paws are already getting tired!"
"Just hold it for a little bit longer!" Ruadh replies as he started to run up the mountain. "The sooner we get there and see the sunrise, the sooner we can get home!" Those words were what got Reminder to move faster, sprinting up the mountain after his dad.
"Hey! Wait up! Don't leave me!"

Soon, the arrived at the top of the mountain and sat down, feeling the cold air brush through their fur. "Anytime now.." Ruadh's voice said, trailing off as Reminder noticed the sky starting to light up, blue, blue, pink, pink, orange, pink, purple- oh! So many colors! Reminder looked up at the sky open mouthed and said. "I-I c-can't believe this! It's so beautiful!"
"What did I tell you?" Ruadh said as he smiled and hugged Reminder. "Someday, I hope you will bring your own son or daughter up here to see the same thing that my dad showed me, and what I showed you today."

Personality;;

Caring - Reminder does care a lot about his friends and family. He can't stand when they are in trouble or are being teased. Reminder will always step up and help them, no matter what situation they are in. He doesn't usually help other Kias that he doesn't really know, because he doesn't know how they will react to it.

Brave - Despite his arrogance, he is very brave and will charge into anything if it is to protect the ones he loves or cares about. Reminder doesn't always plan first, resulting in just barging in with no plan. He is surely a dare devil, and loves to find new scary things. It's just something he enjoys.

Loyal - Reminder is very loyal and caring to the ones he loves or trusts. If you are his friend, then he will stay by your side and help you no matter what the risk or penalty is. He doesn't like to let other Kias down, so always tries his best to make the happy and feeling good. But this is if you are his friend, if not... something bad might happen.

I originally went searching for astronomical names, but when I stumbled across the name Kaito, it just seemed to fit. The Japanese name is a combination of Kai, meaning 'ocean, sea' and To, meaning 'soar, fly' and relating to the constellation Ursa Major.

Nicknames; Kai, Comet.

Personality; Curious, Inquisitive, Shy.
Kaito is an extremely curious young Kiamara with a taste for knowledge. He is active and inquisitive; constantly studying unfamiliar objects and situations, and asking questions. Kai is quiet and can be timid around strangers, though comfortable and talkative around his family. He has a protective and possessive attitude towards his fondest belongings; such as his beloved mushroom plush, Mungo, which he seeks comfort in, and fox plush, Banjo, which tags along beside him in his explorations. Kaito also has a love of the night sky, and often studies the stars in curiosity and wonder.

Relationship with Family;

Anais-
Kaito loves his mother dearly, and often seeks reassurance in her. Kaito, being cautious as he is curious, tends to go to Anais for answers to his questions; of which he has many, due to his strong inquisitive nature. He finds no greater source of comfort than that of his mother, and confides in her whole-heartedly. Kaito seeks her company in times of calm, or times in which he desires it, relaxed in her presence.



Ruadh-
Kaito has a strong and cheery relationship with his father; a form of friendship evident in their bond. Their relationship comes across as laid-back, often playing and causing mischief together. The two are an inseparable duo, always finding time to explore the world together. Ruadh and Kaito share a relationship in which, though hardly ever serious, Ruadh is a significant and positive influence on Kaito. As mischievous as they behave, the never cause any real mischief; Kaito therefore learning to deal with situations in an optimistic manner, as well as finding sources of entertainment appropriately. They also share their love of plushies, and often include them in their adventures.




Avery-
Kaito's relationship with his twin sister is deeply connected, despite their occasional conflictions. Avery can't seem to resist playing the odd trick on her foolish brother, which he doesn't always appreciate. Kaito, being an observer and a reader, sometimes finds issues in seeking a quiet environment in which to study, which irritates him slightly. However, their fallouts never last for long, and the twins resort to playing once again. Kaito has a natural sense of protectiveness over his sister, and is cautious of her surroundings as well as his own. The two are quite interconnected as twins, and Kaito's peripheral vision seems to stick to her; his awareness of her becoming almost a sixth sense.





Banjo-
Banjo is Kaito's 'sidekick' plush; tagging along him in all of his explorations and discoveries. The fox is often seen by his side during the restless hours of the day, and Kai refuses to allow him to be left behind during them. Although Banjo tends to collect quite a bit of dirt on these travels, Kaito refuses to put him in the washing machine, as he doesn't want to harm his beloved fox, only allowing himself or Anais to wash him by hand.



Mungo-
Kaito has a strong love for his mushroom plushie, Mungo; he was given to Kaito by his father, Ruadh, and the mushroom is 'friends' with his father's plush turnip, Tippy. The name Mungo means 'companion', which is fitting as Kaito has had him since he was born, and keeps it alongside him in the weary day and night hours and sharing his bed.

Quirks;
Kaito has a few quirks which, to some, may come across as strange.
For example; Kai has a fascination with lightning, always eager to watch it flash across the sky. However, at the sound of rumbling, he retreats, as he has an immense fear of thunder. These two aspects often leave Kaito feeling conflicted during a storm, and often inflicts confusion on those who witness such odd behaviour.
Kai also tends to seek solace in quiet and solitary environments, where he can read and observe in peace. Though, as he is a twin and is used to company, he dreads long-term separation, and fears being lost or alone for long periods of time.
