He's a young teenager now, so about 2 or 3 years old-ish
Personality~
Sprite is very shy and wary, and it is very hard to gain his trust due to the fact that he has abandonment issues... when you are friends with sprite he can be a very sweet and loyal friend and will do whatever he can to make sure that whoever wants to spend time with him is happy for the most part. Sprite can be a little bit nippy, sometimes getting fearful and biting people if they act to fast or try to corner him...
Story~
Sprite, who was once known by different names, was abandoned young by his parents... simply for the fact that he was blind and they couldn't deal with the responsibility of having him as a child.
Basically, one day, two young pearl dragons fell in love, the usual, they mated and the female fell pregnant...
After she went full term she gave birth to what was the mothers pride and joy... it wasn't until the baby opened his eyes that they realised what horrible fate had been placed upon him... The youngster struggled to move around, and others would stare in horror at the sight of his eyes... One day it got to much for his young parents to take, and so, in the middle of the night when he was sleeping, his parents snuck out of the cave... leaving him there to fend for himself... It took sprite a while to realise they weren't there anymore and when he did, he blamed himself, staying in the cave in hopes they returned and feeding off of nothing but the oranges that he managed to track down by there smell...
Been as sprite blames himself for them leaving, he tends to try and stay away from anyone else, in case they leave him on his own again, because he couldn't take being abandoned again... his name has stuck as sprite because he use to hear his parents speaking about sight, and misheard it as sprite, instantly thinking it was a pet name, so it stuck and has now become his continual name.
