Why?:
For him: he loves to watch the lights, that move, when children carry their paper lanterns and candles. Hes never close enough to see the children, so its special to him, seeing the lights move. It gives him a warm feeling and makes him want to help others. On the day, he knows the lights will come, he helps his herd, especially the young ones, finding food, and shares everything he finds. Hes always helpful and friendly if someone asks, but on this special day, he will share anything without even being asked.
For me: When I was in kindergarten, I was one of those children, carrying paper lanterns. Our farmer was dressed up as St. Martin, and rode a beautiful draft in front of us. There are so many memories conected to this holiday, so I wanted to make this one his favourite one. Its also celebrated in autumn, and his colour reminds me of autumn.
