I will name her Artemis. Artemis is the Greek goddess of the hunt, and the moon.

Artemis is a very relaxed Kia. She doesn't get too worked up over anything, but she can be very bubbly. She is incredibly loyal to her friends, and will stick by her friends until the end. She never backs down on her word, and she has never broken a promise in her life. She is very independent, however, and has a weak spot about asking for help. It damages her pride. She is a very proud Kia, and will do whatever it takes to make sure that pride is not destroyed.
She is very honest, and will help anyone in need. In a way, she's an angel child. Artemis is very loving, caring, affectionate, and very in tune with her emotions. She has the biggest heart you will ever encounter, and she will never betray you unless you betray her. BUt, even then, she still might not turn on you.

About The Name: I spent a long time thinking about her name. I was originally going to name her Astrid, then Ever. But the more I wrote out her personality and her story, the more Echo just seemed to fit. There isn't a meaning behind it, but I do think it fits her quite well.

Personality:

{Deep Thinker} ~ Never one to take things at face value, Echo is always looking for a reason or meaning behind things. She wants to understand everything and everyone she comes across. This trait often leads to her over-thinking things and creating problems that were never really there.

{Day Dreamer} ~ One of her favorite past times is to imagine "what if" scenarios. These often relate to her own life and she will contemplate what could have been. She also has "typical" day dreams about far away places and fantasy things.

{Realist} ~ Despite the face that she is a day dreamer, push come to shove, Echo is very realistic in her expectations about life. She understands that you have to work hard for things that you want and she doesn't expect things to just be handed to her. Its nice to dream, wish, and imagine but she knows that hoping for things that are impossible just sets you up for disappointment.

{Impatient} ~ More with herself than with anyone else. When she sets a goal for herself she wants to reach it as soon as she can. She gets very frustrated if it takes her longer than she feels like it should to do something.

{Can't Let Go} ~ Echo has a very hard time letting go of the past. This applies to past relationships, even bad ones. It also means that she can hold a grudge. For forever. Once you are on this girls bad side, it is almost impossible to get off of it.

{Trust Issues} ~ She does not trust easily. Others have to work hard to earn her trust and she often tries to push others away if she feels they are getting too close.

{Loyal} ~ Once you have earned her trust, you won't find anyone more loyal. In addition to being loyal to those she cares about, Echo is also very loyal to her beliefs and to any commitments she makes. She keeps her promises.

{Outgoing} ~ She tries not to let her trust issues make her anti-social. She loves meeting new people and can talk to anyone about anything, she just keeps them at a distance - emotionally speaking.

{Team Player} ~ Echo understands that sometimes things are accomplished faster or done better with the help of others. She is always willing to pitch in when needed.

{Wanderer} ~ Just like she enjoys meeting new people, she also loves to explore new places. She doesn't feel a certain tie to any one place as "home" so she doesn't mind moving along to someplace new when the mood strikes her.

{Night Owl} ~ She doesn't mind the day time, and you can often find her sunbathing on rocks or enjoying the shade next to a creek, but night time holds a certain magic for her. She is fascinated by the world that comes to life when most other things are asleep. Its almost like it transforms into another place entirely. She loves to explore at night and stays up late as often as she can.

A night time Adventure

Echo settled onto a rock and lazily draped her tail across her front paws as she waited for night to fall. She was excited to go exploring once everyone else was settled in for the night. She watched as the purple and gray shades of twilight gradually shfted to the almost black of night. It was a full moon and the trees case eerie shadows on the ground.

Echo stood up an stretched, arching her back like a cat, then jumped down from her rock. She planned on following a run off creek that branched off from the main river, just to see where it went. She padded quietly through the grass until she reached the creek, then she turned to follow it.

She was surprised when after a ways it got wider, started running faster, and pretty much became its own river. She stuck close to the bank, hopping over rocks and occasionally walking part way into the river. She loved the combination of sounds at night; crickets and frogs along with the sound of the river made their own relaxing melody.

After traveling a ways farther, Echo heard the rushing sound of a waterfall. She veered away from the bank a little and kept following the river until the reached the falls. They were small; only a few feet wide and twelve to fifteen feet tall but it was exciting to Echo because it was somewhere she had never seen before.

She carefully picked her way down the boulders along the waterfall. The mist from the water clung to her fur and made it appear as though she were shimmering. She reached the bottom of the falls, shook the water out of her coat and looked around. The waterfall emptied into a largo pool that was surrounded by boulders of various sizes. Some of them were the size of Echo while others were bigger than cars. Beyond the boulders was dense forest. Even in the moonlight it looked lush, green and inviting.

Much to Echo's delight there were fireflies fluttering near the waterfall. She watched them for a few minutes then cocked her head sideways as they disappeared behind the falls. She knew bugs wouldn't voluntarily drown themselves, so she had to follow them up. She scrambled up a few boulders and found herself on a narrow ledge that went behind the falls. The ledge had blended into the rest of the rocks so well that it had been invisible from the ground. Echo pressed herself against the rocks and carefully walked along the ledge until she was behind the falls.

The noise was deafening and she was surprised to find herself standing at the entrance to a very dark cave. She peered inside just in time to glimpse one of the fireflies disappear around what seemed to be a corner within the cave. She longed to follow it but knew better than to run into a dark cave. She flicked her ears forward and strained to hear but the roar of the water drown out any other noise. She inched forward and sniffed the air. She only smelled dirt and water, no other animals.

She entered the cave slowly and let her eyes adjust to the dark. She couldn't see any details, just that the cave became narrower and started to turn. She took a deep breath and started moving slowly forward. She moved cautiously and kept herself pressed against one wall to keep her bearings. It wasn't long before she was far enough into the cave that she could no longer see anything. She could feel that she was going around the turn and that the ceiling was getting lower because it was brushing the tips her ears.

The ceiling continued to get lower, to the point where Echo had to drop to her stomach and crawl. She only kept going because she could see light and an opening ahead of her and she had to know what was on the other side. The opening was small but she squeezed herself through it. She stood up and shook the dirt and dust off of herself and looked around in awe.

She was in the most beautiful place she had ever seen. Even in the moonlight it was stunning. A lush green meadow sprawled in front of her. It was flanked by dense forest on either side and beyond the forest were sheer rock walls. She scanned the walls and realize that they surround the entire place.

She wandered out into the meadow and stretched out in the grass. She rolled over onto her back to look up at the stars. The moon was huge and bright and the stars seemed to shine even brighter than they normally did. She laid there for a while, enjoying the silence of her new found place. She wanted to explore more, but didn't feel safe exploring at night. She contemplated going back home but knew it was a long way back. She had been exploring almost half of the night and if she left now she wouldn't get home until dawn and she really wanted a chance to explore more.

She got up and wandered to the edge of the forest where she found a somewhat secluded spot between a few trees. She curled up facing the meadow and curled her tail around herself, draping it across her face so she could just barely see over the top. She closed her eyes and fell asleep dreaming of all the new things she might find the next morning...

Shinko is very quiet. Words in general are of no use to her, because how could they describe something exactly? She is one who prefers to act rather than speak; for example, a simple laugh means that she is happy, so there is no need for long, complicated gushes. She is silently headstrong, always ready to speak out if necessary.

She is elusive, often slipping through crowds unseen and unnoticed. Shinko is brave, too, always willing to go on dares.

Victoria, commonly known as Tori.

Victoria is, well, a bi- I mean butt face. She is selfish and only cares about herself and her looks. To her, she is perfect in all ways, shapes, and forms. Except her friend-making problem, but hey, who needs friends? If you are beautiful like Tori you don't need any.
Tori is rude and will do anything if it means gaining something. She is a straight up bully, and nothing can get in her way. She likes how her stars on her pelt reflect her, a shining star! Tori is actually quite talented for a meanie. Playing the piano, singing, dancing, acting, and basically playing any musical instrument are all things she likes to do to pass the time. It's not like she can hang out with friends, or 'true' friends anyways.

Now that you know how Tori is on the outside, let us dig a little deeper. On the inside, her heart isn't black (hard to believe, eh?) But in all honesty, she is just a kia yearning for friends, anyone that will care. She has serious abandonment issues, which is a story for another time. Tori is kind of like a cactus, hard and prickly on the outside, but juicy on the inside. In conclusion, Tori is a selfish brat on the outside and a broken soul on the inside.
