Cichy is very nervous around other Shao. Not because she doesn't know how to talk to them, but because she is scared to talk to them.
She is very quiet for fear of being judged, or saying something wrong, so she keeps to herself. On most days she can be seen laying quietly all by her self- usually in a shade tree or some place cool where she can just relax.
Almost all of the Shao believe that she is mute in one form or another. Some would even go as far to say she is deaf.
But
Tęzca knows otherwise. Tęzca knows that Cichy is wise beyond her years. To Tęzca, behind silent reflects your knowledge. Even the few times Tęzca had heard Cichy speak, she was stunned by how each word was filled with pure knowledge and understanding.
Every once in a while, Cichy can be seen at Tęzca's side, not talking, but just being there. Almost like a shadow. All in all, Tęzca seems to be Chichy's only good friend.
Cichy loves being near Tęcza, because the other Shao doesn't make her speak. As they are both quiet, it's a silent understanding between the two, and that's what makes them such good friends.
They don't expect anything from one another.
