Hello! I am Pikachu von Schweetz, and I am trying out for/applying for JBD 491... Nebula. My first username was Pikachu <3. Then, it became Pikachu <3 Link, and then, Pikachu von Schweetz! It comes from two of my favorite characters. Pikachu from Pokemon, and Vanellope von Schweetz, from Wreck it Ralph! You can call me either Pikachu, or Schweetz. Or, if you'd rather, just my whole username is fine! Nebula would be my first ever jelly bean dragon. I've tried out for others, and I've really only put my heart and soul into one other. After losing her, I really didn't think I could find a bean that I connect to so much, but here he is. I first passed by him, but as I began to listen to music, I came upon the song, "No Wonder I" by LAKE, and I felt this... strong urge to pair this bean up with it. It's so perfect for him.... If you would, please listen to this http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lkEmDItUAUU while reading my form. This form is quite the novel, I suppose, I used small text too, so it might be hard to read, but it'd mean the world to me if you'd take the time to read every word of it. If the song ends (it will) please repeat. I've devoted myself to winning this bean. I feel like... he's MORE than a character, I love him like a family member!! Are you ready to delve into the world of the young bean who's stolen my heart?
Well...
Here we go.

Nebula? His name comes from the deep star formations in outer space. He truly loves it, and wouldn't choose anything else for his name. He talks in blue font, since dark blue is his favorite color. Also, it has to do with his name. Nebulas are often partly blue. Did you know he used to think he really was a Nebula??
"Hey! I was gonna say that, later on, Pikachu! You spoiled it."
Sorry, Neb. Oh, right! His nickname is Neb. Don't call him anything but Neb, or Nebula, if you would refrain from that. He hates being called 'Ula.' I do admit, it does sound kinda odd. He prefers to be called Nebula though, if you don't know him very well. If you get to know him, Neb will do nicely. When we first met, I thought, "Wow, he looks like a nebula."
Oh, I know this one! Then I said, 'Hi. My name is Nebula. How are you?"
That's right, Neb! *ruffles his fur* That was adorable...

Nebula is a boy. He doesn't really mind whether he would be born a girl or boy. He's very flexible. If he was to turn into a girl, he wouldn't care.
"Go where the stars take you..." he says.
"It's not that I don't like being a boy. I like being a boy. I just don't care if I, y'know, was a girl."
Well, okay, Neb. I suppose it's alright not to care.
"What, do you think it's bad? *sigh* Honestly, I don't even care whether I'm a boy or a girl. I'm a boy, though."
I'm well aware of that, Neb. //so odd, he is.//

Nebula is 9, but acts older. He is very mature for his age, but sometimes, he shows signs of younger behavior. He is really curious, and sometimes his curiosity gets the better of him, and ends up getting him into trouble. But overall, he's a 45 year old trapped in a nine year old's body. He is... almost scary intelligent.
"If I may butt in, I do not think I am of a 45 year old's mindset. In fact, I believe that I am a bit immature."
There you go, folks. The amazing 9 but 45 year old bean.
"H-hey, quit it!"

"Sweetheart..... we will always love you. You will find us again someday, sweet bean. We will all be together again, whether in this life or the next. We will find each-"
"When I was very young, I was lost at night. I don't remember much about that night, only that it was warm, blanketing, and lovely. I woke up alone. No one was with me, or so at least I think. I can't even remember who was with me, before I was lost. As the night turned to day, I bathed in the sun's embrace. It was so warm, and I felt at ease knowing the sun was there. I unsteadily rose to my paws, and tried to walk around a bit. I found that I was on a hill, a green, grassy hill, with plenty of shrubs big enough to sleep on. I called that my home. I owned that place, and it was mine. The whole time I had lived there, I had never seen another bean on that hill, except at the end of my wild childhood. Since I had no recollection of who my parents were, I thought it only logical that my parents were the sun and moon, the stars my brothers and sisters.
Around me, plants grew that I could eat. I drank the water from a bubbling creek that ran nearby, down the hill that I resided on. When I look back on it, I'm surprised I didn't go crazy. I talked with the animals that roamed the area. They... honestly, they were the ones that kept me sane. After a while, I began to think Mother Moon and Father Sun were actually talking to me. I had many an interesting conversation with them both. My mother was very caring. She lightly caressed me to sleep, as she told me stories of the times long ago. My father was a very jolly, happy soul. He enfolded me with his great arms of light and often, he'd talk to me about how long he had been around. My name? I gave it to myself, actually. I was watching my brothers dance across the sky, when I saw an amazing sight. A cluster of stars, purple, blue, green, and it was beautiful. I immediately asked my mother and father who the stars were. Of course, they couldn't answer me, but the animals knew. They told me it was a 'nebula.' At the time, I had no name. What need did I have for one, being alone in the wild? But I loved that word. Nebula, the elegant, wonderful night sight in the sky. So I called myself that. I had two witnesses, really! A rabbit and a mouse, if you don't count my mother the moon, and my siblings, the stars. After naming myself, I had a lot more confidence in who I was. I actually, for a short period of time, thought I was a fallen Nebula. But I grew out of that. I knew I was something else..... but what?
I pretty much lived life alone. It wasn't bad, because I never knew what it was like to have other beans around. Just the animals, and nature. Oh, and my 'parents and siblings,' of course. In the wintertime, my coat would grow even thicker and longer. Thankfully, it never snowed on the hill, considering it wasn't that high up. The icy winds did blow, though, so for most of the day, I'd have to hunker down in a bush, wondering why I couldn't just float up into the sky to be real nebula, just like my siblings were. I was certain they were warm up in the sky. Some nights in winter, I couldn't see my mother, or siblings. I was so worried something had happened to them, but they would usually appear again in the next week or so. To fetch water, I would wait until the wind would stop for a moment, then charge down the hillside to the stream, which, miraculously, never froze. I guess it wasn't to freezing point, since it didn't snow, but it felt freezing! Then, I would drink until I couldn't drink any more, and run back up the hill to hide under the bush. The plants I usually ate were dead, but other winter plants grew. My favorite was one which I now know is called 'Rose Hip.' It was sweet, and delicious, and it tasted of the fruit I now eat called apple. Another favorite of mine were wild carrots! They grew underground, but I often dug them out and ate them. On bad years, sometimes all that would grow would be wild onion and wild mustard leaf! How I hated those two things. They taste so strong! I still dislike them, but I was raised by the harsh cold to eat anything I could find. It's amazing that I never stumbled upon anything poisonous.
When Spring came around, it was still quite chilly on my hill, but it began to get warmer. Of course, still, there was not the most food around, but along with the Rose Hip and carrots, the wild radishes that grew in the spring quickly became another favorite of mine. I love them to this day! Kale and spinach grew during the spring as well, but the leaves were tough, and it was difficult to chew them, sometimes. They tasted alright, though. Nothing as bad as the horrors of onion and mustard greens! In Spring, it was sometimes in my best interest to sleep under the bushes, because boy, did it rain. No, it didn't pour, but it rained constantly. I was always glad to see Summer.
Obviously, Summer is my favorite season! It's a marvelous time for stargazing, and in the season of Summer, I always had my Constellations book nearby. And plus, it was great because, after foggy and gray skies, I could finally see my parents and siblings clearly again! On the first few days of summer each year, the animals and I hosted parties that continued long into the night. Well... mostly, I did. Sometimes, the animals would drop by, but they came and went as they pleased. Ah, I could sit for hours on that hill, just feeling the warm breeze ruffle my fur was enough to satisfy me. I needed nothing else.
Fall was and still is my second favorite season. Food was so easy to find, and instead of greens, fruits grew on the bushes and the few trees around my hill. There were apples, but getting to them was so difficult! It was a rare treat to get one. The first time I realized that the red things on the trees were edible, I immediately connected them with Rose Hips. Rose Hips are the apples of winter, really. But we're not talking about winter right now. In Fall, the leaves on the trees.... well, fell. The first time I saw it happen, I freaked out a bit! I thought it was 'hurting' the trees, but then I figured out it was okay. Heheh!
One winter, when it was especially cold and windy, I decided to go get water from the stream. I wish I had waited a few more hours to do so. I crouched and narrowed my eyes against the biting winds, then charged down the hill. About halfway down, my back paw hit a root that was protruding from the ground. I had hardly time to gasp when I tumbled into the stream, head first! The freezing water hit me and I went under. Now, the stream, mind you, was deep. It did not normally have a current, but when the wind was this strong, any body of water is bound to have one. I kicked me paws, my claws scraping at the muddy walls that were closing in oh so fast. I thought of my life, everything I had done. I shut my eyes and kicked upward. I shot up like a rocket, gasping sweet air, coughing, but there was nothing to hold onto to pull myself up onto the riverbank, so I went back under. I flailed, my paws sending me upward into an awkward doggy paddle. I was floating! I turned my head wildly to spot a tree root coming out from the riverbank. Using all my energy, I was able to latch onto the root until the winds let up a bit. Soaking, cold, tired, and scared, I shook myself off and slowly, slowly climbed back up the hill. That night, I fell ill, and the next morning, I was under the bush for the entire day, shivering, coughing. It was like that for like... 3 days. I could only eat the plants closest to the bush I hid under... which happened to be wild onion! Ugh, it was awful. When I was restored to health again, I was back to stargazing. By that time, it was getting close to Spring, and the biting winds let up. I spent my time stargazing, and making things. What do I mean by making things? I really loved finding objects. There would often be stuff drifting in the stream. I fashioned a little grabber out of a sharp twig and some netting, and would hook things that I saw in the stream onto the grabber. From there I would pull whatever object I happened to find out of the river. They were usually nothing much, like, candy wrappers, old bottles, just stuff like that. But sometimes, I would come across something really cool! Like once, I found this container thingy. It was shaped like a rabbit head, who I later learned was Bugs Bunny, and it was somewhat like a tupperware. I stored lots of things in there, like little bottle caps, which I collected. I lost the tupperware one day, while carrying it to the stream with me. It was a little muddy, and Bugs Bunny and all my bottle caps fell into the stream. I lost 'em. I do miss my bottle caps, but Pikachu gives me hers. Anyway, this isn't about now.
So time passed as time passed, with me constantly trying to figure out who I was. I looked different for all the other animals in the hill, so I felt at a loss of sense.
Later in my life, when I was something like.... 6, I asked a bird who I was. It answered me. It told me I was a dragon. A jelly bean dragon. So that's what I was? A dragon. Not a Nebula at all, but in all ways, a Nebula.
I was found, when I was 8, by two beans on a hike. They filed a found bean report, and, well, I met up with my long lost brother, Cognium."

Heh, Neb's got a few key objects.
1. His 'fallen star' piece.
2. His constellations book.
3. His bandanna with the 'Big Dipper' on it.
Firstly, the star. He-
"Excuse, me, Pikachu. I'd like to tell them about my favorite objects, please."
Oh, um, okay. Well, I guess Nebula will tell you all about his favorite objects.
"First off, my fallen star! Really, it's a fallen star, if you don't believe me, I can prove it. If you look at it in the light, it has bits of sparkly stardust in it. My mom or dad probably sent it down to me. One night when I was talking to myself, I saw somethin' streaking out of the sky! It was sparkly, whatever it was. And after a while of watching it trail a golden path in the night sky, it came closer until it hit the ground about.... say, 10 feet away. I went to go see what I was, and it was a fallen star! I mean, it had to be. Sparkly, golden white, so it has to be a star. I'll never get rid of it. That's what my parents sent down to me, one of my siblings, so it's even more important. I always take it with me when I stargaze. Yes, even now, I still stargaze! It's really entrancing. Sometimes, when it's dark, it will glow golden. But only when I least expect it. One day, I sat there and watched it for HOURS, hoping it'd glow. It didn't. Then, when I was on the roof of the house I live in with Pikachu, I saw the Big Dipper in the sky. For some reason, my star started to glow. Just like that.
Second? My 'Big Book of Constellations." You might be wondering how I found a book of constellations in the wild? It's a long story, but when I went for a drink in the river, something big and blue and square was floating down the water. I chased after it, and finally, it got stuck on a rock. It was kind of out of my reach, but one of the birds knocked it onto the ground. I didn't really want to jump the river to get the book, which was now on the other side, but I did. I don't regret that at all. It was beautiful, even after all the water damage. The front was lettered in silver, although I couldn't read what it was... but below that title, there were pictures of my siblings in the cover! I figured out how to read some time later, and came back to the book. I spend so long with that book, under the bright light of the moon, trying to find the 'consterilashins" in the books. Hah... that's how I used to pronounce 'constellations.'
And last but not least, my bandanna. Y'know, that thing I always wear? If you haven't seen it, it's dark blue, with the 'Big Dipper' on the front. That's my favorite constellation. I see it quite often in certain times of the year, actually. I found some fabric scraps a long time back, and used tree bark to mark the Big Dipper on the bandanna. Of course, I've redrawn the Big Dipper now, with silver, but a long time ago, I didn't have markers. Just nature. Anyways, those are my most favorite objects in the world!"

This is my first extra.
Nebula has an... interesting personality. One could say he's mature, of course. He says things that don't sound like they would come from a 9 year old. They seem to come from an old soul. Nebula says he has been to this earth before he was born. I for one, believe him. He loves to learn new things, especially things that have to do with astronomy or stars of any kind. So he's brainy, as well!! He is also very curious. Sometimes, like I said, it gets the better of him, and he'll get into trouble. Ever since he was found by the two hiking beans, his curiosity was fueled even more, having not seen the big world out there. Nebula is very talkative. He talks all day, and has a habit for interrupting people when-
"May I talk for a moment, Pikachu? Don't believe her! I never interrupt. It's rude!"
My point is proven. Anyway, like I was saying before-
"This is kind of my personality here, emphasis on MY. So can I just tell them?"
No Nebula. Sorry, so, he's talkative. He gets in trouble a lot, too. Because he interrupts people all the time, and that gives them the wrong impression of him. He's only talkative when you talk to him friendly first. If it's just a polite conversation, you'd think you're talking to a 45 year old man.
A 45 year old- What?! Again with the 45 year old thing?!"
Sorry, Nebula, just telling them the truth. Neb is very well written, using words that are bigger than a nine year old should know. I was just talking with him yesterday when Neb told me, "I'm in quite the predicament... I dropped my Constellations Book yesterday, and as I picked it up, I noticed the luster from the C was fading. I feel this is inadequate for my book to look this way, may I borrow the silver paint to refurbish it?" He loves using big words, that's for sure!!
So in short, Nebula is...

He acts older than his age!

He looks at anything and everything, and gets into stuff a lot.

He has a high IQ (165), and loves using big words.

He talks forever! Sometimes for hours on end.
He's sweet. Really. :3 If you meet him, you'll love him.
Nebula has an... interesting personality. One could say he's mature, of course. He says things that don't sound like they would come from a 9 year old. They seem to come from an old soul. Zodiac Sign- "My sign? It's Gemini. I think it's pretty accurate."
Favorite Food- "I think... I'd have to say roll cake. I love it when it's white cake with strawberry ice on the inside."
Favorite Drink- "Tamarindo juice. Try it, it's the most refreshing thing to drink! You can't get it where I live, though... I have to ask Pikachu to bring it back when she goes on vacation to tropical climates!"
Favorite Scent- "The smell of the ocean."
Voice- Nebula sort of sounds like Spike the Dragon, from My Little Pony.
Least Favorite Food- "I like most foods, but... Mushrooms would probably be my least favorite food. I hate them!! They just taste so awful!"
Least Favorite Drink- "Green juice. Basically, it's this drink when a bunch of vegetables are blended up together in a smoothie! Eeech! I hate that stuff."
Least Favorite Scent- "Garlic. I love to eat it, but that smell is so bad."
Theme Song- Nebula's theme song is "No Wonder I" By LAKE.
Favorite Dream- "Well, it changes! But last year, I dreamed like, the mother of dreams. I wrote it all down on a leaf, so I didn't forget it. I was walking through a extremely large forest, and there were trees all around me, but the trees were made of some pink, fluffy stuff (which I later learned was cotton candy!) and the trunks were red and white stripy things. The whole place smelled good, but I smelled something awesome, which I couldn't resist following. Once I arrived at the source of the delicious smell, I looked around, I was in a clearing of some sort. The ground was scattered with pine needles, and more of those pink, fluffy trees! There was a dark shape moving in a corner, and when I looked closer, it was ME! With some sort of... cave with knobs on it (which I later found out was an oven.) and, I was making something in that cave. When I tapped that copy of me on the shoulder, it turned around, and it had the face of a bunny. It offered me some yummy looking food in a tin, and we had a fun conversation about life. I've never had that dream again, but it was really cool!
Least Favorite Dream- "I don't usually dream of things I don't like, but I have a recurring dream that I HATE! It always starts off with me standing in a dark box with small light holes. After a few seconds the scene changes from the box to a huge, white room with a giant eye on the ceiling, painted, of course. But then the eye blinks, and the ceiling falls on me... For some reason, it never hits my head, but it's still scary! Then, I'm transported to my hill, the one I grew up on, but there is nothing in the sky. No stars, no moon, just nothing. I feel something up there, but it's like, it's trying to come out and shine, but the nothing won't let it. I feel so empty and alone when that dream comes around."
Favorite Movie- Oh dear. I love movies... I like Mr. Bean's Holiday! It's hilarious. I also like the movie Inception, it's intense, and a thriller! But... my favorite is Wreck it Ralph! It's so fun to watch, have you ever watched it? The main character, Ralph, is so likable."
Least favorite Movie- "I hate the movie 'Flower Drum Song.' I've never seen anything more scary! I think they tried to make it bad on purpose. At least, that's what Pikachu says. She made me watch the whole thing! I would much rather have been outside, stargazing."
Languages Spoken- ''As of now, I speak English, and I'm learning Japanese from Pikachu. It's so difficult!"
Hobbies- "I've quite a few hobbies. I enjoy stargazing, of course! If I could sew, I would, but... *holds up paws* these aren't really the best tools for sewing. I am fascinated by it, though. I like to draw, as well, by holding a pencil in my mouth. And last of all, watch TV!"
Favorite TV shows- "It's probably no surprise, but I love Mr. Bean' TV show. They stopped airing it years ago, but Pikachu records reruns for me. And then, I like Adventure Time! It's so funny. I love cartoons! Hm, I like 'The Universe' on Discovery Chanel for ovbious reasons... Lastly, I like Antiques Roadshow. I know, I know, it seems a bit dull, but there is a certain thrill when you watch it. You're always wondering what the value of the next piece they bring up will be.It just does to show that one bean's trash is another bean's treasure!"
Least Favorite TV shows- "Secret Mountain Fort Awesome, the things they do make no sense. Destroy, Build, Destroy, because they just break other peoples things, and La CQ. No words to describe how much I loathe that show."
Favorite Brother- "Silly, I only have one brother! His name is Cognium, and he thinks he is a data base! Actually, science is not yet advanced enough to make living computers that breathe and act exactly like a bean. I've only met Cognium once, buuuuut I really like him, even if he is a little bit.... crazy! Teehee!"
Favorite Books- I like superhero comics. My favorite it Batman! He's really cool. Also, I like Watership Down. It was the first full book I have ever read.
Favorite Bedtime Story- Nebula still needs to be tucked into bed.
"Hey! Don't say that!!"
It's true though. And he has a favorite bedtime story.
Ugh, fine, well, if you want to hear the story...

Ugh, fine, well, if you want to hear the story...
A long, long time ago, in outer space, a little alien named Petriko lived. The aliens looked not much different than you beans do today. Petriko was a fine young boy, and, for his species, the Awankabi (pronounced Ah-Wahn-Kaw-Bee), was quite handsome. All the girls admired Petriko, and he was constantly having to talk with them. However, that was not really was young Petriko wanted. All he wanted in life was to stargaze. In the Awankabi customs, stargazing is a sinful thing to do. All of the Awankabi think that the stars are the trapped souls of anyone who is evil and bad, and looking at them would just give them attention. The elder Awankabi made sure of it that none of his subjects ever look at the stars, and the punishment for doing so was heavy. If any Awankabi was to stargaze, they would be locked up with no food or drink, until they withered away. Petriko knew this, but he simply loved the twinkling, joyful stars, and would steal glances up at them. If a girl came over to his Pod (Pods are the houses Awankabi's live in, and they double as space ships!) for a 'date,' Petriko would make excuses for having to leave, so he could glance at the stars. There was one girl, in particular, named Canlikrett, who really, really liked Petriko. She thought nothing was more important than seeing him each day. As much as Canlikrett liked Petriko, she was not stupid, and could tell that he did not fancy her.
Canlikrett wanted so badly to share her life with Petriko, that one day, she decided to watch him when he was alone, to see what was so much more important then her. She quietly watched him go onto the roof of his Pod, and take out a book. It was a big, blue book, with silver letters on the front of it. She wondered what it was for. Petriko buried his face in the book. Canlikrett was outraged! A book was more important? But her eyes widened as she saw Petriko look at the stars. Of course, she didn't dare look at the herself, but she saw his head tilt up. So the stars were more important, too? A book and a bunch of evil souls? She would get Petriko into so much trouble... Her mouth agape, she ran to fetch the elder Awankabi.
"Sir, I have caught Petriko doing something unspeakable!" she stuttered. The elder looked up at her with a placid look on his face.
"Calm down, Canlikrett. What has Petriko done?"
"That dirty Awankabi is looking at the stars! He's been doing it for a while now!" All the calm was instantly gone from the elder's face.
"have the guards fetch Petriko!" he snarled, digging his claws into the chair he sat in. Canlikrett donned a nasty smile as the guards approached Petriko's Pod.
The guards found Petriko on the roof, just like Canlikrett had said.
"We command you to disembark that roof at once!" shouted the guards. Surprised, Petriko looked down and saw the angry elder and Canlikrett.
"Petriko, Petriko, Petriko." said the elder, shaking his head. "We thought better of you."
The guards began to advance. Panicking, Petriko dropped back down into his Pod.
"Get him before he uses the escape feature!"
Luckily for Petriko, he managed to get to the control panel of his Pod. With a loud rumble that shook the planet, the Pod took off, blasting into the stars. Petriko sailed for quite a long time, maybe a day, before he saw another planet. It was small, quite remote, and had stars all around it. Petriko found it perfect. If you look in a telescope, at the perfect time, you might catch a glance of Petriko's Pod on his planet...
"In my defense, it's a great story!
Favorite Day of the Week- "I like Thursday. Most don't like it, because it sort of 'taunts' you, like, 'Hey, the weekend is close, but NOT YET!' but I think it's.... hopeful!"
Least Favorite Day of the Week- "It may seem cliche, but I HATE Monday. It's just... Augh, weekend is over and now so far away."
Favorite holiday- Well... I have two, please excuse me.... My first one is Christmas. I don't like the presents, but it's more of that... that vibe you get. Like, everyone is nice. And it smells great in the house, because we always have scented candles going, while we decorate the tree, and I get to put the star on top, always! My second favorite is the Fourth of July. I'm no patriot, but I like it since we get to sit outside and watch fireworks! I really think I just like it for the fireworks, haha!!
Least Favorite Holiday- It's hard to hate a holiday, but probably Veteran Day. I don't get it, they're honored for killing? Ugh! Sorry.
Favorite Color- It's the color I always talk in- dark blue. It's the color of my eyes, first of all, and also, it reminds me of the night sky.
Anything else you want to say??- Oh, well... I dunno. I guess I really don't like eating leftover food, I guess? And I hate soggy bread. That's all!

Well, there you have it. The life of Nebula, the Starstruck Bean. I can't believe I wrote all that, considering I suck at writing. Hah, I guess when I get into something, this happens. I truly apologize for the text I used, in place of Fontmeme, and the short novel you have to read. This is a once in a lifetime chance for me, and thank you for giving it to me.
Pikachu out.
