username;;
Tesserae
I use the same name on the JBD fanclub, where I'm active on the chat.
name;;
Tectonic
Named after tectonic plates, which are huge pieces of the Earth's crust.
gender;;
Female
She may look masculine to some, but the main reason I chose female was because males generally wouldn't wear necklaces, bracelets or tail charms.
accessories;;
~A mini-telescope necklace~
Her name is engraved on one side. It's a little scratched up and there's dirt on the bottom, but she feels like that gives it character.
My friend has a really cute telescope necklace that immediately came to mind when I thought of her. As an Earth-based bean, I felt like a telescope's essence would capture her love of exploring.
~Keeps a pair of binoculars and a compass in her pouch~
Her vintage binoculars - complete with a small "T" on the side, are perfect for spying, and her old 1500s compass, although scratched up, still works perfectly fine and helps her with exploring.
I thought these items, though maybe not accesories in every sense, would display how she loves to explore the world around her.
~Has a tail charm with a mini globe on it~
Every time she goes somewhere new, she takes a red marker and draws a dot on her tail chram. See all the dots? those are all the places she's been! She proudly displays her record of travels on her tail.
Not exactly the most original idea, I guess, but I still think her being based off of our planet would need to be reflected in something, and I love tail charms.
~She wears a bracelet with a miniature astrolabe on it~
She may not know how to use it, but she knows that an Astrolabe is definitely more unique than a GPS. She found it on one of her adventures, and loves than none of her friends have one!
An astrolabe was a type of device used for navigating, invented in the early 900s. I felt like this would be a unique twist on the idea of navigational technology.
