But Mako wants to use his fire to create art, to make something beautiful with it, and to change peoples mind about it. Shafer's only a kid after all, his 'biggest wish' changes every day. One day he wants to complete the old 1000 crane challenge; he'll even sit down and spend upwards of three hours doing nothing but folding cranes, but then he hears the ice cream truck and his wish changes to finding enough money to get his favorite chocolate-peanut butter-cookie dough cone. Some days he wants to be famous and known all over the world for doing something, but... what could it be? Origami? Music? Putting together the first all-Jellybean Dragon Broadway musical? (Believe it or not, that one has actually come up more than once!) And then some days, all he wants is to just hang out with his friends and be a kid forever, growing up and worrying about the future being the furthest things from his mind.
