Personality Melon is a kind Kia, spending much of her time hanging out with her friends. She enjoys making friends with others, and is extremely loyal. She has been friends with everyone she has ever met, which makes other Kia's believe she is extremely popular. She hates the word 'popular', believing it means being friends with many others but not actually being 'friends' with them. She just considers herself a Kia with many friends, nothing else.
A small story
I quietly sat underneath an apple tree, calmly nibbling on a small apple as I watched the sun rising slowly in the distance. I loved this view, and would come to see it every day while eating apples from my most favorite apple tree. In fact, apples are my most favorite fruit.
Anyways
I continued watching the sunrise, when I heard a rustle in the branches above me. Looking up, I saw a small baby bird that had fallen to a low branch in the tree. Feeling bad for the bird, I reached up on my hind legs, carefully nudging the bird. It stared at me cautiously at first, before hopping up onto my nose. A smile crossed my face as I then slowly landed back on the ground. I set the bird on the ground, tilting my head as I stared at it. The bird chirped, a happy tone in its voice. I smiled again, letting the bird hop onto my head. I laughed in joy, then began bouncing around, the bird chirping happily as I did so. It seemed as if I had made a new friend, yet again.

●Courageous●
Her friends call her a dare devil, others call her insane, but Rowan really just enjoys trying new things. She has gone sky-diving, bungee jumping, and even confronts the stingiest bullies. Rowan loves thrill and excitement, especially when surfing. The thrill gives Rowan the chills and she will even squeal!

Rowan is full of life and excitement. No matter what Rowan is always shining through out the day. Rowan makes a big deal of small things. And she tends to exaggerate a bit with them. She uses big hand motions when talking about a subject to not only help the other Kia understand, but for her to understand. It keeps her at a steady pace and reminds her of what she already said.Rowan is a really perky gal, because of this she has plenty of friends to talk to.

●Gamer●
Even though it is rare for a girl to be a true gamer, Rowan is in love with video games. When she isn't outside, Rowan is cuddled up in her bed on her Xbox or at her desk on her laptop playing video games. She even carries her Nintendo DS around in case she gets bored on the go.

Oh, I love video games! Especially Minecraft and Assassin's Creed!

●Surfer●
Rowan's favorite thing in the whole world is to surf. She lives in a beach house in California, so she surfs quite often. She is always first to sign up for Surfing competitions and usually at least wins a medal. Her room is covered in medals and boards from her walls to her ceiling. She may not look like the kind of Kiamara that would surf, but once you see her out at sea, she will be seen differently. Rowan's favorite part about surfing is not only the thrill of it, but reaching out her paw while under a rolling wave and running it through the water. It is a magical feeling that changed her life.

Surfing changed my life. I hope when you watch me it will change yours too.

●Pesky●
When Rowan gets very excited about good news, she can get really annoying. She usually has non-stop giggles and snorts or non-stop chatter about the smallest of things like eating her favorite meal or seeing all of her friends. This usually leads to Kiamaras yelling at her and telling her to keep quiet. It always hurts Rowans feelings when others yell at her even though she knows she deserved it. In the end Rowan and her friend exchange apologies and everything goes back to normal.

*blushes* Thinking of those moments always embarrass me..

●Sloppy●
After Rowan has had a big day, she usually doesn't pick up after herself when she eats snacks or spills something. Most of the time she picks up a mess, but it depends of what it is. Rowan has a very thick mane, so it is a hassle to comb out. Instead of combing it all out, she teases it and throws it up in a ponytail all the time. She doesn't mind how it looks, but her friends are always telling her she needs to fix it.

*strokes ponytail* well...

●Irritable●
Never mess with Rowan when she is in a bad mood. One bad move will spark her, and she will go off. She isn't scared to tell someone how she feels about them, good or bad. It is rare to find Rowan like this, but it happens. She mostly gets angry at her video games or her mane. She only gets frustrated with other Kiamaras if she needs to be. When Rowan gets frustrated she starts with simpley flicking her tail. Motionless. Its her way of warning something what it is about to get into. If whatever it is chooses to keep bugging Rowan she'll scream and shout, kick and throw punches, possibly spew a few curses. It surprises everyone when she does this, they never thought a sweet little Kia like Rowan was capable of doing such things; but she is.

Yeah, so back off!

A Journal Entry
Note- Told from Lime's point of view as a journal entry of her's. Also the date will be the day of judging so it makes more sense.

The day I found a home and a family was the most amazing day of my life. Normally I would be overlooked by many people or they just don't want to waste the effort to show they love me but one person stuck out from the rest. That one person is now my new parent and the best part was that I now have a little sister! I've always wanted a sibling, being an only child is definitely no fun. I had no one to share my thoughts with or play with. Being around other kiamara just didn't feel the same as being around a brother or sister. So when I learned the person who wanted to take me home has a little female kiamara I jumped at the opportunity.
At first I must admit, I felt shy and a bit scared. Questions like what if she doesn't like me ran around my thoughts. Luckily when I met her she greeted me with open arms. My little sister Heart looked just as happy to be with me as I am to be with her. From day one we bonded quickly and had fun playing games, talking, or even just sleeping together. Life felt less lonely and in a way I became protective over Heart. Sometimes she didn't like it but I just don't know what I would do if something bad ever happened to her. Another strange thing I learned about my sister was that she didn't like shades of pink and red as I did. I always felt those colors bring out the color of my own fur quite nicely but Heart seems to rather stick with cold colors. Also she hates my favorite fruits, watermelons, cherries, raspberries, any red or pink fruits. One day I might just trick her into eating some just to show her it's not all that bad, since I think she never tried any because of the colors.
Anyway the person who took me in was really nice and at times she does ruin my fun...Like when I was trying to climb the furniture she scolded me and told me not to do that. I know she means to keep me safe but at times I just want to take a risk and live a little.
Anyway that is all for today, I hope no one reads this since it is my journal and that would be so rude! Peeking into a girls private thoughts written down on paper.
