Kias name: Sabrina (meaning "brown horse")
Gender: male. I know it looks silly but he doesn't look ''female''to me
Horse related adventure: His adventure: Sabrina has had lot's of adventures but here's 1 she cant stop telling. As Sabrina was trotting through the woods she looked around for flowers and plants that were good to eat. Up ahead she heard a sound. She jerked to a stop looking ahead. She quickly crossed the path but the creature was faster. It sprang out of the bushes and launched it's self for Sabrina's leg. She noticed right away it was a snake and it was poisonus cause of its bright colors. Sabrina dodged the snakes attack and kept on running her paws/hooves pounding on the pavement. The snake soon gave up and crawled back into its bush.
Extra: Likes: taking kids for rides, staying in the barn and talking to her friends, staying up late and looking at owls. Dislike:kids pulling on her mane/tail, Anything that's poisonus or something that will hurt he
I,mimi26188, promise to take care of and never ever abandon my little Sabrina in any way~

D I S C O V E R Y

Username?
Downn-- simple as that. No nicknames, no nothing. Although don't be afraid to call me Duo.

And the Kia?
Discovery-- actually named after my best friend's old horse that died about a year ago. In honor of Discovery, I name this kia and write this story after her. And, because Discovery's nickname was Disco, I suppose that will be this kia's nickname as well.

And their Gender?
Female-- excuse me, I suppose I meant Mare. ;)

Disco's Horse Adventure?
"Disco! Great job!" The girl beamed and threw her arms
around my neck. We had just won a contest, a dressage one.
The embrace felt strange, but good at the same time. My
rider, hugging me tightly. I whinnied and pawed the ground
happily. This was my ally. This was my partner. This was my
friend.

But it all felt so strange.

She loved me, this rider. But sometimes. . .

My mind. Am I losing it? I don't know what's going on.

You see. . .

I am a horse. But sometimes, I get a weird sensation.
I feel like this isn't my body. This isn't right.

Soon after me and my rider won the contest, things
started going downhill. My health was declining,
though for no apparent reason. My rider was worried.

One day, late in the evening, I laid in my stall. Horses
aren't usually ones for laying down, but the day had been
a bad one and I was too tired to do much of anything.

I was dying. I tried not to think about it, but I knew it.
My body couldn't take much more of what it was going
through. My rider knew it too. And so, on this night when
I was laying down, she brought me a gift. A parting gift.
It was a charm, a charm that she tied to my front leg,
just above my hoof. It was shaped like a horseshoe.

Just then my head went weak and suddenly my neck
couldn't hold the weight of it. My eyes closed, and
the last thing I glimpsed were the silent tears of my
rider. My friend. My partner.

But suddenly my eyes opened. And I realized something.

It was a dream.

I wasn't really a horse, I didn't really have a rider, and
I hadn't really. . . died.

I was a kiamara.

My name was Discovery, and I was a kiamara . . .

And I had been dreaming. It seemed so real . . .

But the strangest thing was, when I looked at my
paw--

the horseshoe charm was still there.

Some Art?
Before she gets her little horseshoe charm:

I, Downn, promise to take care of and never
ever abandon my little Discovery in any way.
I will adore and love her just as my best
friend loved her horse, before it's untimely
death~

Dear Diary,

It was chilly that morning, not the kind of chilly that makes you want to stay curled up sleeping, but the kind that makes you want to go and run. Just chilly enough to keep you from getting hot and make you all friskey! I love that weather!! Anyway, it was chilly and I was running through a feild when I suddenly heard a strange noise...It made me stop in my tracks, but not for long. I could tell that whatever it was, it was in destress and I had to help!! I started trotting toward the sound but slowed as I got closer so as not to scare the creature. As I crested a hill, I saw it. I'd never seen anything more beautiful!! In the distance, a whole bunch of tall, four-legged creatures with long necks and flowing tails. Then I heard the sound again, but it was coming from much closer than the group of wonderous beings. It was right below me, on the side of the hill. I slowly looked down and saw a minature version of the four-legged wonders iin the distance. It was stuck under a fallen tree but didn't appear to be injured, only scared. I slowly aproched it, humming quietly. It tried to run but couldn't, so it called out with a high-pitched "neiiiiiighhhh!!!". I stopped and let it get used to seeing and smelling me, then stared to walk forward again. This time, it was more relaxed, and let me come up to it. I looked at the tree, it was too big for me to lift. "Hmmmm..." I thought, "What if I dug at the ground under the baby? The tree should stay level as it's pretty long, and touches the ground on either sid of the baby. Well, it couldn't hurt." I started digging, gently at first, then harder and faster. I had to stop at few times to catch my breath and let the creature adjust in the hole. Soon, there was a huge pile of dirt and grass beside the fallen tree. I nuzzled the baby's forehead, then slowly backed out of the hole. It looked at me longingly, as if it thought it was still stuck. When stepped out of the hole and it could no longer see me, it made that noise again and I could hear it struggling. After a few seconds, I stepped closer so that it could see me again. It was standing! I stepped back again, and I heard it trying to follow. I could see it's ears now, then the head and neck, and after a few more steps it was at the top of the hole. It made it!! It walked akwardly toward me, and stretched out it's head. I let it nuzzle me, then turned to walk toward the bigger creatures in the distance. But it turned the other way and made a soft sound from it's throught. I followed it and soon we could see big blocks of white, red and brown standing in the dirt. I'd never seen these before and they looked scary Suddenly, the role were reversed. The little creature was now making me feel safe, and coaxing me along. But once we were a few feet away from one of the blocks, a two-legged thing came out and I froze. Every instinct in my body told me to run but I couldn'd move. The small four-legged creature trotted up to the two-legged one. After greeting eachother with strange noises, the two-lgged thing came toward me. I was scared at first, but there was something about it that was kind. It acted just I did when I was aproching the creature stuck under the tree...

Now I live happily with the two-legged and four-legged creatures, haveing great adventures every day!!

Kias name:
Luna. This is the name of my moms horse that she is training up for her to be ready for me to ride. When she is being introduced to something (like a speech or some big event), she is called Lil' Miss Moonshine which is the actual horses registered show name.
Gender:
Looney Tunes (what I call her when she is being silly) is definitely a gal.
Horse related adventure:
I was loaded into the trailer and the middle section of doors closed behind me. I munch on hay for a few minutes before pawing impatiently. One of my humans says something angrily and then I hear a couple doors close before the other part of the back of the trailer was closed as well. I hear one more door close before the familiar roar comes and then the trailer getting jolted into movement. Snorting in slight annoyance I close my eyes and fall into a doze.
When I awoke, my humans had parked on a section of black with a building on it, off of the black path. One of my humans was offering a bucket of water. I drank thirstily not liking the hot and dry temperature of South Dakota. Soon, we were off again and it was quite boring. After about another 3 hours we stopped again and the oldest of my humans took my out of the trailer and walked me around. I flicked my ears hearing the roaring noises of cars driving pass and nibble at some grass nervously. The other 3 humans went into a building and came back looking a lot more refreshed. I relieve myself and then had to get back into the trailer. I eat my hay and grain they used to lure me in and fall asleep.
Finally, when I woke up we were parked on a field of grass. A little ways away was barn. And next to the barn was paddock. A paddock with other horses! I whinny to them eager to talk to someone. Not getting a response I paw the ground and then got led over to the barn by one of my humans. One of them says something about me (I can tell when they say my name in their language) and then they put me in a stall with door that led to a small field. I eagerly trot out and nicker to the horse on my left. He nickers back and I find out that his name is Colby. Me and Colby talk for a while longer before I go to lay in the warm sun. I spend 3 days at this place with no visit from my humans, yay!
Well anyways, on the 3rd day my humans came to load me in the trailer and I was stuck in that tiny place yet again. We have another day of travel before we finally stop. My humans unload me and give me more water and then I sniff their hands for treats. Not finding any, I shake out my mane and then look around sighing. It was hot and I was tired. One of the younger humans leads me to a field and lets me loose. Happy to have free space I canter around and around before stopping, covered in sweat. Once it was night the air turned cool. I had a peaceful night. For another 2 days the traveling and stopping goes on before my humans unload me. We were at a place with a red barn and I could see some ducks a little ways away and what I guessed was a covered arena. There was a lot of horses to. I spend most of the summer there and then finally when it was autumn, my humans brought me to one more place. A place I knew I could call home. It had a huge pasture with enough grass to last a life time. Best of all though, there was another thoroughbred mare there to. Her name is Glory and eventually we became the best of friends.

>This story is based my trip driving across the country with my family when we moved. We actually brought our horse Luna and this is when the Kia is in her horse form thing<

I know the dream
