Haru (means Spring in Japanese.)Gender: f
emale (honestly I can't see her as anything else.)
Why are her feathers red:
Haru was leaping with excitement, why wouldn't she be? Today she was recieving her feathers! "Mum when is it time..." Haru winged impatiently. "Oh you know that as much as I do! When the sun is at it's strongest and the second spring has started, your date of birth!" Haru's mother tutted in an amused way. Haru had waited for this moment for all of her childhood and finally the moment had come! She had waited so patiently for all those years, but when in only a couple hours time it felt like she couldn't wait any longer. Haru ran around the house boredly, muttering to herself "I'm going to get my feathers, I'm going to get my feathers!" Finally the time had come, when the sun was at its strongest and the second spring was gone! Haru trotted up to the Alpha of the pack, Artemis (the name of the greek goddess of the maidens and the hunt.) Artemis looked down at her with kind electric blue eyes, "The time has come!" she whispered sweetly. Artemis plucked two feathers from a goose waddling past and gently died it yellow, proudly Haru trotted up to recieve her gift, when Artemis slipped, the goose hadn't been finished with her. Stepping back up, clearly embarrassed. Artemis held up the feathers for everyone to see, they were a bright red, as they had landed in a pile of berries as Artemis fell. "Do we have to have new feathers now?" Haru asked timmidely. "Fate has decided your feathers! So red they shall stay!"
