Username: poofycatName of Kia: Arabell. I actually found this name in a historical fiction book I read taking place right before the Civil War in America, though it originally had and extra A. (Oh, wow, just looked through some other forms and saw how many names there are similar to this one. It was completely original, and I might as well explain how I chose this name. Basically, it had come down to this and another name which I forgot. I was thinking about possible nicknames for both and came up with Arabee for the name Arabell, which inspired her fear.Gender: FemaleExtra 1: Video: I decided to make an animation about her, which took me about a day and several hours of practically nonstop working, and my hand hurt so much later. .n. I don't usually make videos to win characters, and the last, and (before now) only time I did this was for a Fancycat I was desperate to win. (Also, it seems I accidentally added an extra slide at the start of the video, thankfully it's not too noticeable because each slide is 0.05 of a second long.) I made one more. I am quite proud it, it is one of my smoother animations. I also made a peice of art on ms Paint, and tried to make it into a video, but it is refusing to upload. It was just one slide, and is going to be the base for the introduction to any more videos of Arabell ; with a major IF I win. I did attempt to make the intro already, but it was much harder than I had thought and I ended up not publishing it and just deciding I would make a different one later, with, again, the big IF I win. Maybe a tiny bit: her beauty always attracted a lot of attention, so she dislikes crowds and has a fear of being mauled. But once you talk to her, the light of the rest of her personality shines through. This seemingly petty lady has a tongue sharper than poison-tipped barbs, and it can really sting if you've done something to get on her bad side and make her unleash it. She knows very well what sarcasm is, and she also knows how to use it. Her strong words and piercing remarks can make even the biggest, toughest bully cower in fear. Arabell is also very good at finding your weak points: those sore subjects that really make you crumble, though she rarely ever uses this. She knows it is very harsh and cruel to speak of a lost mother or a father that abandoned the family; especially with all these orphaned characters running all over the place. (Ever noticed how many characters have tragic backstories about being abandoned or having both parents die at an early age?) Her past has been a good one. She had two loving, caring parents that are still around, and she lived pretty close to them. She's a little snide and really cares about her looks. She is a bit easily annoyed and doesn't like those hyper, always bouncy and loud types, like my fursona, Poof. Arabell is always a little rude to her and uses sarcasm towards her a lot, but it's plain to see that they do care about each other. Loyalty is also very important to her. She never betrays her friends and it is remarkably hard for her to lose them. Arabell strongly believes in keeping promises and will never spill a secret. She may be a bit rude, but you can always count on her to explain a personal problem and be backed up, also without any close-kept secrets leaking out. Extra 4: Art: sorry, the scanner ruined the colors. and i couldnt do the whitish markings, im sorry. and i only have 3 peices! one is in my gallery, the one of the bird, by the way. these are of Arabell as a young kia; she doesnt have her accessories yet. they're a bit like a story: she gets some of her favorite red tea, then it shows her drinking it.
Extra 5: Story of how she saw Cecil: Arabell wrote: I'll take over for now. I was heading towards my usual place to watch the sun rise. It's like a hill, but very small. Well, more of just a rise in the ground, really. Higher than a simple mound but much lower than a real hill. It seems half of it had cracked and broken off a long time ago, thgen was worn smooth by rain. I always sit at the top: there's even a small permanent dip in the grass where I always lie down, only several feet higher than the land below me. From the base of my "hill" to somewhere halfway up is a light forestage of bushes and ferns, maybe a few young trees with ivy hanging from their branches.
I pushed through the plants to where I always watch the world start waking up. I trod on the well-worn path oif flattened and dried grass, pressed down by me treading in the same place for years. Though as I passed a bush, I found a small tuft of pink fur stuck to a branch snaking across the path, and wet footprints in the mud by a puddle. A few strands of hair were stuck in the mud after the puddle: I guessed this strange animal had tripped over the branch, stumbled, and fallen in the mud by its messy footprints and the fur stuck everywhere. I sniffed a patch of the pink strands and identified this stranger to be a male kia, the slightest bit tall and with a faintly sweet scent. Curious and confused, I carefully followed the kiamara's scent trail, then peeked out of the bushes. (Heehee, a lot of words strarting with a C in that sentance. )
Where I usually sat lay a pink male kia washing mud off his fur . My tail twitched as I prepared to jump in him. My tail aroused a bird, though, and it flew away, causing an enormous racket. The kiamara turned toward me, and I was captured in the beauty of his eyes. They were blue, like mine, though a different shade. The sun hit them at the perfect angle, causing thim to sparkle with color. A ligt breeze blew, causing his bow, gem, and feathers to sway, giving the kiamara a dreamy look. His fur was, ironically, two shades of pink, though the dark brown spots and hair gave him a more manly but gentle pelt. I gave a tiny gasp, both in awe of the kiamara currently staring and my direction and from fear of him spotting me. Oh, I must have looked horrible! I was just trekking through bushed while he only recently groomed his pelt. I could not have him see me now, not in this messy state. He looked so neat, handsome, and organized.... I thought my wide, staring, blueberry eyes would give me away, but he simply twitched a floppy, speckled ear and turned back to watching the first fingertips of sunlight crawl out from behind the horizon. "He even looked beautiful from behind! Even his dark hair is perfect!" I gushed, lovesick.
For the next hour or so, mst likely more, I watched him from a distance. Though even after a thorough washing I could not bring myself to go up and speak with him, but simply admired how the dawning sun highlighted his already handsome fur from my patch of ferns. Then he left into a different territory and I came to my own den, and though he does not come as often as I, whenever he does I am always there, admiring everything about him and daydreaming of marriage.
