Dena was playing at the watering hole happily. She was so busy leaping around trying to catch a lime green dragonfly, she didn't notice a human child hidden behind a rock, staring in awe. He walked up to her nervously and the beat of each step upon the ground woke Dena from her day dream. Turning around she saw him. She had never seen a human before and excitedly rambled up to him. They played with each other all day. Until Dena saw Ahawi, her mother trot up to her and nudge her to leave. Dena knew she wouldn't see the boy ever again. The boy went up to her and covered his hand in mud and pressed it gently against Dena's side. As Dena and Ahawi walked up the bank, the boy ran up and placed a mud swirl against Dena's other side. This meant waterhole, so Dena would never forget the time she had spent at the watering hole.
