A Jellybean Dragon is a fluffy, friendly dragon that hatches from a jellybean-like egg. Their diet consists of fruits and insects, but they also love sweets and desserts. Their fur is soft and long, usually brightly colored, neat, and shiny. Jellybean Dragons are mostly gentle and happy, and love attention. Most are Great Dane-sized when they are fully grown, but some of them can grow as big as a cow. All Jellybean Dragons have pouches on their bellies, which they use to carry around food or younger JBDs.

We'll start with when I was a kid.

.History.
I remember this well.. kinda, I remember being happy,
In my mothers arms. It was good back then, and i was a shy kid.
Hiding behind Ma like i'd be killed if exposed to the others.
I never had true friends back then, I didn't rarely come out
of Ma's pouch. That was pretty much It so far,
I mean, my personality started when I became ten.
Ma was taken by Humans, and I was left alone.
That was nine years ago today, and I remember my child hood still,
really clear. We were sitting, Ma was talking to her old friends, when they came.
The humans, not like the ones we have now, but crueler ones, who though us beans
needed to die, that we are a danger to their race -he smiles a bit- Us beans?
we wouldn't harm anyone. They simply took her, not bothering with me, a small
crying piece of fur which they watched crawl under some rocks, then, they left. With
Mother and her friends too. Well, thats what happened really, anger mixed with my sadness,
and created who I am today, a crazy, mess of emotions. I can act, very well actually.
Thats kind of what I do, I have no real way, I had to shape myself. Now though, eight years after
the time they took My Ma, I was captured, well.. I came home with Blitz, who is helping me find the right
person. Wolfeh asked me, for my help. She is a kind person, yet, like me in some ways.
Hiding from terrible dreams, shaping herself so that people don't hate her, and scream at her.
Now -yawns and lays- if you don't mind, I'll resume my nap. I had a huge party planned for tonight,
and I don't want to miss it just for being tired.

and he LOVES it. He is a fan of duller colors, as they don't hurt his eyes,

His quirks? He has Many,
He's loud, he cannot stay out of a dangerous sounding
adventure, All of the sort. The one I'd like to talk about though,
is his obsession with shiny objects.
He hoards them, he just cannot stay away from anything with
even the slightest shine, which is most likely the reason he owns
his chain necklace. It keeps him from chasing cars, stealing metal,
that kind of stuff. His eyes, also become dilated when he has
noticed something to set him off.


I t e m ;

His item? He wears his Chain, thats about it.
It keeps him occupied and from stealing any metal items he sees,
It helps with one of his worst quirks. And, He just thinks its cool
and makes him more awesome. It was given to him, also,
by his parents when he was a kid. When he bites it, it calms him in a way
no bean will ever know, not even him. He bites it mainly when he
see's a shiny object, his greatest weakness. It somehow, makes his mind
resurface, and his eyes no longer be dilated.

His Pet Peeve? Well! Its a weird one, especially since he owns a pet store,
yet, he hates it when people and beans only buy pets, and not the food. He prefers you to buy food, rather then
take his animal friends who he loves dearly and feeds treats to every hour. It just Bugs him.

S t o r y ;

Cale sat on the banks of a river, thinking of the things he could do.
"I could... Skip stones" He said out loud to himself, blinking at his voice. It was dry.. and, sort of raspy as
if he had not spoken in awhile, which wasn't possible! He talked every few seconds.. so.. why did it feel like
the last time he had spoken was so long ago? He sat up, alert finally and saw where he really was. A small,
garden area with a river running down the middle. Then, he saw the fish, and had only a moment before he
was in the river, splashing around trying to catch one. He slowly came back to his mind, and bit down on his Chain.
It had always helped him and it helped him now. He slowly, dragged himself ashore and sat again, to think this time.
"Where am I?" There! He had spoken again, though... It sounded weird? He was quieter, and.. He couldn't explain it
but, He didn't know where was. Just minutes ago, he had been.. That was it! He was dreaming! But, what was this
weird dream? Usually there was nothing realistic about a dream, as he looked around more, it seemed he was dreaming
of his backyard from last night after the party. Maybe.. No! He didn't like dreams, some reminded him of his past pets
and some had always started like this. He had to wake up, He jumped in the river again, usually, if he died in his dream,
he woke up and was able to escape the dream. But, this time, The river pushed him out. Not even a push really, he kinda just
ended up back on shore! Cale shook his head, this had to stop now, or he'd be back in a terrible dream with old pets.
He looked up, and saw a.. weird glowing pink spot, just above the lowest branch. He climbed up swiftly and looked in,
It was his room, and he was sleeping! Cale pushed through the spot, and immediatly was awake, looking around his room.
That was an adventure, But one he never wants to have again.

Where better to start than the bean's name; Fletcher. Quite a posh name? Not particularly; unless old-fashioned counts in that criteria. When naming the boy, his parents leant heavily to the traditional side and used an old family name - Fletcher. They weren't particularly picky about his first name, and looking back on it, one might call it a rushed decision. But, hey ho, best not to dwell.
Fletcher himself is mildly annoyed by his name, and doesn't enjoy the idea of being named after a dead relative. He'd rather have a fresh, new name instead of a repeated one. Understandably, these opinions aren't usually voiced, but that's only predictable.
Unlike most young beans, Fletcher has a noticeable lack of nicknames and his name is quite difficult to shorten. Flek? Cherrie? Not exactly wonderful playground terms. Usually they tend to be centred around his attitude, but Otto he quite likes.

The bean's middle name is a mystery, almost. It's like a raffle, his father kept arguing that most young beans had middle names nowadays and his mother gave up; simply opening their naming dictionary to a random page and picking a name. Reid, as it were. It was just as well it had Scottish origins, as both parents were quite fond of the place. Fletcher usually just shortens it into - "Fletcher R. Ottone", because it sounds like a rather professional way of putting it.

Ottone is even more of a hand-me-down than his first name, and is simply a surname from his father's side of the family.

Understandably, Fletcher would be a tad hurt if you asked this - presuming you were talking to him in person. He's completely and utterly sure that he's male, and can't imagine himself as a girl. Some things you just are completely sure about, and this is one of these subjects.

He was a late summer child, in fact; early August. Everything was warm, the weather fair with Australian blue skies; enter Fletcher. Strangely enough, it's been seventeen full years since that day and you'd hardly notice - he still has the same mannerisms, the same frog-like expression at times. One could say that the only thing that's changed is his size.
Fletcher has high hopes for his future, and although he can't wait to grow up and do great things, he is also quite content with his current age. Seventeen is a prime number after all, and the bean finds them rather lucky.

As you've probably picked up, Fletcher has quite a sharp mind for his age. With a keen interest in mathematics of all things, his parents immediately whisked him up to better schools; growing up with ample praise but little criticism. Most would blame this for his somewhat arrogant tendencies. He'll list achievements like a athlete pacing next to a trophy case, and wishes to be acknowledged with genuine respect. Unfortunately this, more commonly than often, sends off the wrong signals. It's not that he wants to be conceited or big-headed, he just can't help himself.

The trait which his parents were less inclined to nurture was his tendency to over-think situations, turning mountains into molehills in a way. For loss of a better example, think of a graph - two points, A and B. Now, most would take a straight line to the problem; but Fletcher would quietly try and factor in unnecessary issues; until you're left with a awfully difficult solution.
It's not something he's particularly proud of, but admits it can help nitpick holes in apparently finished solutions.

Like any particularly aloof being, Fletcher is stubborn to reject his believes and will follow them to seemingly daft ends. Of course, this is as much of a irritation as his tendency to over-think.
First off, let's use a couple of examples; he is incredibly sure that psychics, ghosts, and anything involving "sixth sense visions" is complete nonsense. Science, logic even, doesn't allow them to legitimate, or something along those lines. He'll draw evidence anywhere from reflections, to raw doubt to try and get his point across.
Secondly, Fletcher has a touch of sexism in him. Not radically, like refusing ladies their rightful jobs, but subtly against jobs putting them in potential danger. To use a historical point, when the titanic sunk, the woman and children were first onto the lifeboats; this choice he'd be entirely in favour of. It's a trait found often in teenage boys, and hopefully he'll grow out of it.
Try to pry him away from any of his ideas, and you'll be beating a dead horse; hence the phrase, "un-receptive". Not a good trait for a aspiring mathematician.

At the grand age of seventeen, Fletcher still carries with him dregs of childhood fears, worries and that easily damageable quality that is commonly found in much younger beans. Sights or experiences can easily send his mind spinning, and easily his over-thinking mind will kick in; sending the fellow to places he feels safe, but them alone. ( becoming reclusive and dependent until he, or a trusted being, solves the issue ) To put it in other words, he's easily shellshocked. It isn't a quality that many pick up at a first glance, with his dubious frowns and arrogant tendencies, but it is still present in the bean.
Let's twist back the clock-hands, shall we? Say he was eight, roughly, and he found a dead bird. His reaction to the situation then wouldn't be that dissimilar to his reactions at seventeen.

Aloof, fretful… what a dastardly chap, eh? Well, this isn't the intention Fletcher wants to give off. Honestly, he means as well as one can; he just isn't too good at showing it off. When he was younger, his parents would quietly put him back in the right direction when he strayed off course like this, but without their constant guidance - he can resort to being a little queer, but not necessarily in the good sense. His "benign" traits mostly get amplified when well-rested, calm, among people he knows / trusts; overall, safe environments with no agitation or unnecessary stress. Of course, the opposite goes for his more negative traits.
Now, I wouldn't be cliche by claiming that " …once you know him, he's actually as good as gold,". Even if you'd known him since his younger days, he'd still be aloof around you occasionally but, he'd generally lessen and be more open and attentive to your concerns / well-being.

Attentive? A little trick that most people are quite fond of in him. He simply is one of those people who closely picks up on others' issues, mannerisms and / or quirks. Most people dismissed it under his bright mind, but as someone once said; "you don't have to be Einstein to be able to pay attention."
He's often found with spontaneous knowledge of someone, and if you asked how he came upon this; he'd simply answer - 'Most people don't actually listen," in a typically Fletcher, aloof manner.

Usᴇʀɴᴀᴍᴇ: Ocean_Sapphire

Nᴀᴍᴇ: Zaffre

Nᴀᴍᴇ Mᴇᴀɴɪɴɢ/Pʀᴏɴᴏᴜɴᴄɪᴀᴛɪᴏɴ: (zaf-fer) Zaffre is a darkish blue colour.

Pᴇᴛ Nᴀᴍᴇs: Some people tend to call him “kid”, especially those who think themselves above him or who are more mature or older. This may be because of his immaturity and how he’s still rather young.
This pet name often upsets him, as well, and he repeatedly tells them not to call him “kid”, but they never listen.

Gᴇɴᴅᴇʀ: Male

Aɢᴇ: 18 years old

Pᴇʀsᴏɴᴀʟɪᴛʏ: Zaffre has a very mixed up personality. He tries to be kind, but actually tends to be unintentionally rude. He can be a good listener when needed, and can spot things others can't. He is usually playful but is very short tempered, which means you shouldn't try to provoke him while playing a game. Zaffre is also very honest at heart, and only lies when protecting a person.
However, he loves to stir up trouble; usually getting away with things easily. He doesn't mind becoming enemies with someone, knowing that you gain some in life and can't always be friends with people. He can be conceited, but only on a very rare occasion. Zaffre is loyal to those he loves; he will even defend them by doing dangerous things and acting braver than he feels.

Aᴄᴄᴇssᴏʀɪᴇs: WIP

Iɴ Hɪs Pᴏᴜᴄʜ: He often keeps his collection of keys on a key ring in his pouch, as well as some sort of music player, usually an iPod.

Cᴏʟʟᴇᴄᴛɪᴏɴs: He has a collection of lost keys that he finds. He thinks someday he'll find what they unlock.


Dɪɢɢɪɴɢ Dᴇᴇᴘᴇʀ___________________________________________________

Pʜᴏʙɪᴀs:

• Coulrophobia, the fear of clowns
• Acrophoia, the fear of heights
• Arachnephobia, the fear of spiders
• Trypanophobia, the fear of needles

Although he's much too proud of himself to admit it, he's quite afraid of clowns, heights, spiders, and needles.

Qᴜɪʀᴋs:
*Zaffre can't stand to do the same routine every single day. He has to have something different, something new and fun. It gets really boring if he does the same thing a lot.

*Although he doesn't like to admit it, he barely has a sense of direction and gets lost very easily. For example, if he's in a large building that he's not used to, he'll end up going around in circles trying to figure out where's he's going, and he's too proud to ask for help.

*Zaffre often toys with things, and takes objects apart to see how they work.

*Zaffre tends to take stupid bets for very little. He finds it exciting, but it often gets him hurt or into trouble.

Hᴏʙʙɪᴇs: He loves to play his guitar, and the occasional video game, though he doesn't play video games very often. He also enjoys playing some other types of games, such as laser tag and paintball, but he doesn't play these as often because he's not very social.
Sometimes you can catch him studying, or maybe just staring at a book and trying to understand it. If he can manage to figure out what he's reading in a novel, he often enjoys it, as long as it's not a non-fiction book, because those tend to confuse and bore him.

Sᴋɪʟʟs/Tᴀʟᴇɴᴛs: He's quite good at playing his guitar.

Tʜᴇᴍᴇ Sᴏɴɢ: WIP

Oʀɪᴇɴᴛᴀᴛɪᴏɴ: Straight.

Pʀᴇғᴇʀʀᴇᴅ "Hᴀɴᴅ": Left. He was born that way.

Pᴇᴛ Pᴇᴇᴠᴇs: He's not really bothered by a whole lot, mostly just things that have to do with his struggle in reading and writing. He dislikes seeing how easily others can read, while he has so much trouble.

Mᴇɴᴛᴀʟ Dɪsᴏʀᴅᴇʀs: Zaffre has dyslexia and ADD.

Dyslexia makes it difficult for him to read and write. However, he often thinks more visually. He has a rather poor penmanship, but learns better with "hands on" activities.

ADD often causes him to daydream, and he's easily distractable. He's also impulsive and impatient. He has a short attention span, and is somewhat disorganized.

He can work hard on reading and writing if he really puts his mind to it, but he still tends to get distracted. He also gets a little upset and frustrated when he sees his friends, or just others people, reading and writing while he has trouble.


Mɪɴᴅ Sᴇᴛ_________________________________________________________

Mᴏᴏᴅ:Zaffre’s a pretty relaxed bean, so you’ll most often find him in a calm mood, or even a cheery one.

Aᴛᴛɪᴛᴜᴅᴇ: He's usually very quiet, so he's rather neutral towards mostly everyone. He'll often be kind to those he doesn't know very well, or rude to those he doesn't like, when he speaks at all.

Exᴘʀᴇssɪᴠᴇɴᴇss: Zaffre tends to "bottle up" his emotions. He doesn't show them very often, unless he's around a very close friend. When he's happy, he tends to express it. Things like fear, anger, and sadness, however, he tends to hide because he thinks it shows weakness, and he tends to act tough.

Wʜᴇɴ Hᴀᴘᴘʏ: When he’s happy, he tends to look more confident, holding his head up high with a smile of his face.

Wʜᴇɴ Dᴇᴘʀᴇssᴇᴅ:If he happens to be rather upset, he might lock himself in his room. He’ll usually blast his music really loud, as well, however he usually does that when he’s in any mood.

Wʜᴇɴ Aɴɢʀʏ: Since Zaffre’s so quiet, he won’t usually scream at people when he’s mad. If he can, he’ll just go to his room and do something to let the aggression out, such as punching a wall.

Cᴏᴍᴘʟɪᴍᴇɴᴛs/Iɴsᴜʟᴛs: Since he doesn't often talk to others, his compliments are very sincere. If he's arguing with someone, his insults can often be rather hurtful, yet clever.


Fᴀᴠᴏᴜʀɪᴛᴇs_______________________________________________________

Cᴏʟᴏᴜʀ: He likes different shades of blue, because they seem relaxing to him.

Fᴏᴏᴅ: Chocolate, and other various sweets like cheesecake.

Dʀɪɴᴋ: Soda, and chocolate milk.

Pʟᴀᴄᴇ: He prefers comfortable and familiar places, such as his own home, or somewhere outside on a calm, warm day.

Fʟᴀᴠᴏʀ: He loves chocolate, and mango is also one of his favourites.

Gᴇɴʀᴇ: For books, games, and movies,he enjoys comedy movies, as well as the occasional horror.

Tᴇʟᴇᴠɪsɪᴏɴ Sʜᴏᴡ: Although he doesn't watch TV very often, he enjoys comedies and silly shows like Adventure Time and the Regular Show.

Mᴜsɪᴄ: Mostly things like hard rock and heavy metal, but he doesn’t like a lot of “screamo” or anything.

Sᴏɴɢs: He loves the songs "You're Gonna Go Far, Kid" by The Offspring, "Riptide" by Sick Puppies, "Do Me a Favour" by Stone Sour, "Absolute Zero" by Stone Sour, "Sound of Madness" by Shinedown, "My Own Worst Enemy" by Lit, "Life is Beautiful" by Sixx A.M., "Heart Attack" by Sum 41, and "Prayer of the Refugee" by Rise Against.

Bᴀɴᴅ: He loves Three Days Grace and Green Day the most, although he does like a lot of other bands.

Qᴜᴏᴛᴇ:

Cᴏʟᴏᴜʀ: He doesn't really like the colour pink very much, or certain shades of green (like icky shades).

Fᴏᴏᴅ: He doesn't very much enjoy things that aren't sweet, like vegetables or spicy foods. They're the last things he'd ever eat, and will avoid eating them as much as possible.

Dʀɪɴᴋ: He doesn't like black coffee. He doesn't drink coffee very often, but if he does, it has to have sugar and creamer to make it sweet.

Pʟᴀᴄᴇ: Crowded areas with a lot of people. He doesn't really like being around a lot of people, and it makes him a bit uncomfortable.

Fʟᴀᴠᴏʀ: Out of more common flavors, he doesn't like grape as much, though he'll have grape-flavored things if he wants.

Mᴜsɪᴄ: His least favourite is rap.
