Why was he given the glowing marble, what memory is associated with it? He was given that little marble when her sis was very sick and probably wouldn't make it. She gave him it to remember her forever. Luckily, she got better and went back to normal! The marble it's self is a chunck of a glowing spacerock that had a blue pulse around it. When Star looks at it, the first thing he sees is a shooting star suddenly bursting across the night sky with his sister running after it.
