Name: Nessy; I named her this because she's an adorable Kiamara, and I think that Nessy is a cute name. Her real name is Nessy. It's not a nickname or short for anything, it's just Nessy.
Favorite Food: Blueberry Vanilla Parfait; She loves this food mainly because she loves blueberries, vanilla, and parfaits, so what's better for her than all three mixed together?
Theme Song: Colorblind by Counting Crows; She's colorblind. Nessy can only see in black and white, and she loves Counting Crows, so this is her main theme song. This doesn't have anything to do with her theme song, but I'd like to add that she has a pet sloth. Named Mr. Lazybutt.

Parlor Paints
When I read that she was based off of a cupcake, my first thought led to sprinkles. I couldn't just name her sprinkles though, so I thought of deserts that also had sprinkles on them.
I settled on icecream for obvious reasons. I didn't just want to call her Cream or Sherbet, so I picked Parlor, a place where you can go to get icecream.

I like alliteration, so I pushed in Paints. Not only did I pick this because of her colors, but I also picked it because I believe she had always wanted to be an artist growing up, but could never really enjoy it. She wasn't that good at it, and she felt no joy in painting or drawing like the other artist kias.
When she was taught baking by her grandmother, she grew to realize that baking and making treats really was art. You create something that everyone enjoys, and add your own special touch; sprinkles, icing, candies even. Just like a real artist would draw a picture, but in their own way.
The joy she saw on her friend's and families faces when they ate her treats was the greatest thing in the world to her. She became known as the kia who snuck in extra snacks to school, but little did they know almost none of them were for her. They were for everyone else.
Every day from then on she would head straight for that little shop where her grandmother worked and baked alongside her for hours on end. They were a perfect team running that little shop that everyone loved to go to.

Her grandmother is long gone now, but the sweet memories of her are held close to Paint's heart while she carries on the business by herself.

She truly is an artist, and a great one at that.

Birthday Cake
Why birthday cake? Why not regular cake?
Well, you see, Paints love sweets. She has a sweet tooth and an unending hunger for something sugary and tasty. (Mostly pastries though, candy is too hard to chew on for her.)
That being said, it is hard for her to separate one treat from all of them and call it her favorite. Paints loves each flavor equally, no matter how different they may be.
But birthday cake is a very special food to her. Paints doesn't love birthday cake for its flavor, but because of its meaning.

Working at her shop, she always gets orders for birthday cakes. But never once in her life did she make a birthday cake like someone elses. Each one she makes is different and special, because each kia is different and special too.
She feels like she could learn so much from someone just by looking at a birthday cake they ordered. She rarely meets the kia who the cake is for, but she feels a special connection to them while she bakes.
Putting decorative icing flowers on the cake tells her this kia probably loves gardening.
If a cake has chocolate mix instead of vanilla, they might be a sweet lover like herself.

And let's not forget a birthday cake is something to celebrate the day you came into the world to live.
That in itself is a perfect reason why she loves birthday cake.

It took me a bit of rummaging around, but I think this song is a good fit for her.

Paints goes through life easily, never really having problems. She just smiles at it all even though she can be kind of lonely due to her indecisive nature.
She is not "misunderstood" or anything of the sorts. Paints knows that even though she can go through experiences that not everyone will understand, she is not the victim. She relies on herself knowing that she can't just rely on others or pity herself. You have to work hard in life for what you want, and get over problems you have. Her grandmother was very much the same way.

I also saw this as her song because Paints is very much the same being since she was very little. While growing up, she saw many of her friends changing over time. Some left her, some lingered alongside her, but few stayed. I guess they found it embarrassing how open and honest she was even though she was a teenager, almost an adult.
Regardless of how others treated her, she would always smile and hold her head up high. She saw no reason she should stop being the way she was just because a handful of kias found her silly. Paints had far more friends then she did those who looked down on her, so she hardly payed attention to them. If you ever befriend Paints, you'll realize that no longer how long it's been since she last saw you, she'll still consider you a close friend.

Paints' feathers were given to her by her grandmother, and she received them as a gift from her after she found her talent. (So maybe 5 when she got the first two?)
"White feathers? Why are they white?" Paints would ask curiously, holding them in her little paws. All the other kias had amazingly beautiful feathers. Blues, greens, reds mixed with pink and orange, glow-in-the-dark feathers, every color you could imagine! Even her older cousins who went to visit their grandmother received stunning feathers! So why of all colors would she get plain white?

Her grandmother smiled softly and kiss her head. "Because you are my special little granddaughter, and you are your own person. You never let anyone's color paint over your own. That's why your feathers are only white."

Oh! You want to know my name? Cool! I'm Eloise. Now, if you even think of making fun of it,
I'll claw your nose off! Well... Not really. I'm just pretty self-conscious of my name.
Believe it or not, it's been passed down generations! Now, you're probably thinking that my
family must be crazy because of this, but I swear they aren't. Just because I have the same
name as my mother and grandmother doesn't mean that I'm not original! That's why I have
white feathers! My mother had light gray and my grandmother had cream-colored feathers.
They tell me that a name shouldnt tell you who you are.

f a v o r i t e f o o d ;;
My all-time favorite food is definatly Amaretti! Never heard of them? Then you must not be
Italian like I am. Amaretti aren't that popular, but they're certainly delicious! You probably
want to know what these desserts are, right? Well, Amaretti is the Italian word for
'macaroon' {which means 'small bitter things'} and is pronounced am-ah-REHT-tee. They
are always made with either ground almonds or an almond paste. They can be flavored
with chocolate, or other stuff, but my favorite is just the almond flavor. Some people
even take two Amaretti and sandwich them together with ganache, buttercream, or jam.
I like to put sweet blueberry jam on mine sometimes... It tastes amazing!

My favorite song is called Little Bird by Ed Sheeran. The point of the song is that he and
his ex girlfriend were on a bike ride, and they found a chicken with its leg broken on the road.
The girlfriend was studying to be a vet and wanted to look after it, but Ed didn't really care I
guess. He just wanted some "tea and a sleep". They took it back home and Ed went to have a
sleep while the girlfriend checked out the chicken. But when he woke up, the chicken had died.
He felt really bad so he wrote a song for the chicken and his ex. c: While this never actually
happened to me, I really like this song. It has a deeper meaning too, I think. Maybe about
relationships and how sometimes they get damaged, and however you try, they can't get better.
You should really listen to the song, it's really good! {Purr even has it on her iPod!}
