I would name him Aidan, which to me sounds like a spunky but caring name. The actual meaning is fire, which could be a burst of fiery heat or the calming warmth of a fireplace in the winter <3

I think his name would be Nautilus, because his beautiful orange and blue colours with those darling little stripes just instantly remind me of a nautilus <33

As for his eye, I'd imagine the eyelid simply never divided properly hence why it has never opened- he'd probably still have vision of a sorts out of that eye, but at best it would be in response to light levels and shadows only c: (Someone had a chicken like that once- only both of it's eyes were sealed shut! It grew up big and strong though :3)
