name;; Aiyana
story about her past, present, and future;;
And so,the Gods created a celestial beauty~
No one knows how she came to be.To all others she has no name.To all others she may not even exist.A creature that looks and talks as we do,yet all that have seen her claim it was a dream.Maybe it was.Such a thing of beauty that nothing else can compare, how could that be real?Easy. It wasn't.Everyone knows that such a creature as she could not be real. For,how could something that there is nothing to compare be real?Something that has never been seen before? No one knows for sure, but the most common tale of her existence begins like this.
"Have you seen how they are acting down there?"Said the Goddess of space. She was no creature. She was a being, taking any form she pleased.
"Yes,I have, but what do you expect me to do?I can't do anything.I have no power to take away life just because. If I could, this problem would have been fixed before it even started."This voice of the God of time rang loud, deep, and clear.
"Well you can't do nothing! If you do nothing our small planet will only become worse and die."The Goddess screeched at him,as she looked down at their planet.Kiamaras ran free here, but the Gods had given them too much freedom,so much they didn't know what to do with it.Each day a fire would break out.Or a flood.Or a tornado. And each day the world, along with its inhabitants, would rebuild and reform. The vicious cycle continued to repeat endlessly. They were killing themselves, and there was no stopping it.The two Gods knew this, yet still argued about how they would fix it.
"How can you fix something unfixable? It is impossible! We have no power.Half of our power and energy was put into making this planet able to sustain life. The only thing we can do is to destroy what we created."The words rolled so easily passed his lips it sickened the Goddess of space.
"How could you say that?"She said, her voice choking up,"We have to do something.Even if we have no power, we must.We can't let the planet of our creation die in vain into nothingness."
"And how do you propose to do that!Tell me!There is nothing we can do,nothing."His voice raised, his being changing forms, but none were distinct to a certain creature. All were gloppy and not fully formed,as he couldn't even concentrate.Even with everlasting patience, the Goddess was sometimes just too much.A thousand years was the blink of an eye to him,yet every second with the Goddess was billions upon billions of years.
The Goddess' figure began to form tears upon her cheeks."I-I have a
star."She cried,"I planned to use its power for another planet,"She took a breath,"But,maybe we can use its power."
"Where is it?Bring it to me."The deep voice declared, clear as crystal.
Doing as she was told,a glowing star moved through space and was brought to him.Huge and glowing, its heat was amazing as it gleamed pure white. At that instant, the God's eyes met.
"Do you remember when we talked about a daughter to go along with our son?"The Goddess said. The two referred to the planet as their son, since they spent so much time, energy, and effort nurturing it.The God nodded.Calmly, the Goddess dried her tears and summoned all her strength. Her eyes glowed brightly, but were soon closed and only small beams of light broke through where her eyelids met.The God's eyes glowed also, but he followed suit and closed them. From that moment, the amount of energy was so strong, that an audible hum was heard throughout the heavens and earth.
In the same instant,a God-like Kiamara was created. Her body, that of the God,was completely ageless and knew no time. Her hair,on her head and tail, was that of the Goddess, and showed space in all of its glory.Whisps of the cosmos attached to her by the strength of the star.It contained a pink hue,to show the Goddess' emotion and motherly ways. Her eyes were the pure emotion of the God,strong.A heart of gold displayed in a gleaming circle of color, trillions upon trillions of years of experience displayed in something so small, yet so great. Her soul, however, was that of the star.Pure energy that held her body together,it fuels her life processes,it is the reason she needs no other forms of energy. It is said that she will no longer exist when the star burns out,but then again, who ever said she existed?
Now I know what I am meant to be~
In these days,my life is easy. You could also add lonely, but I don't let that get to me.It used to,but not anymore. When I first was placed in this world,I remember it being so strange.I had the oddest memories of looking down on this world itself, however it was so different. It was cracked and damaged,a flame or a flood always enveloping it.I remember a strong feeling of needing to save it,yet another strong feeling of that being impossible.I remember hearing a hum that rang forever in my ears,a light so bright it was blinding yet beautiful. The first year here had to be the worst.
I never knew what to do.I was always doing something wrong. In a pond,I saw my reflection.I had to be the same as the other creatures on this planet.Thats what I thought at least.I outstretched my wings,I remember the first thing I thought about them is that they were far to small for any extended flights.I heard some talking behind me,accompanied by rushing pawsteps. As I turned, nothing was there. The two noises continued to get stronger until two somewhat similar creatures appeared out of a sticky, leafy, green thing that I was told was known as a bush. The two creatures looked somewhat like me.Though, they had no small wings nor a flowing galactic mane. One was young, the other older.A mother and son pair,I thought at the time. The mother appeared scared and immediately bowed in my presence, the son stared in away. His eyes followed the flowing of my hair.I took slow steps towards the mother, and asked her to get up.It was the first time I heard my own voice. It was somewhat loud, clear, feminine.
The Kiamara lifted her head, told me I was a goddess, and asked what I was doing on their planet, and not in the heavens.I told her I was no Goddess, though she did not believe me.She told me things like, only a Goddess could have hair like you do.Only a Goddess would have wings like you do.Only a Goddess would have no feathers yet be an adult. That is when I noticed a few bright blue, yes,I think blue is the word for that color, feathers attached to her.I insisted I was not a Goddess,so she took me to a small community of creatures like her.Doing the same as she did, they all immediately bowed. Now annoyed,I told them to stop it instantly, and thing was...they listened. After this I spoke. They hung on my every word.I told them I was no Goddess, and I also told them of what I knew of my creation. This small group of Kiamara's nodded, and they believed me.Every single one.No questions asked. It was as though I had some sort of effect on them, but I didn't let it change me.
At that moment,I remembered something the mother had told me.I then asked them where does when acquire feathers,to which they told me,you get them from your parents.Parents?I knew no such word, and I told them that also. They than ran off,and came back a few minutes later, only a few of them holding feathers in their maws.As my eyes scanned them,I noticed that they feathers were the exact color of my eyes.In approval,I nodded, and as the tried to attach the feathers to me,I calmly told them to stop.I attached them myself, since only a Goddess would need people to do things so easy for her.
I will forever remember that small group of Kiamaras. They were the only few that I've told my story to.Their children told their children, and so on and so forth. The story never got too distorted,so I left it as it was.I never really walk around the planet now.I haven't been seen in so many years that the sight of me is too much for some.Since they only know the tale, they now think I am a Goddess again.I leave quickly, but watch over them. They tell their family how they saw something out in the forest, but they never say what. They eventually say it was just a dream and it never happened.I think they say this because they find a creature such as me impossible.
Now,I just let them all think what they want to think. They think I am a Goddess, but I do not care.I do not bother to correct them. For all I know of my creation,I probably am one.But I cannot even trust my own story.I don't wander around anymore.I do what I am meant to do.I take care of my brother, the planet.I make sure he is never consumed again by so much hate.He will never again be controlled by fires and floods. All things peaceful and good will take place her,as long as I am around, which will be a long, long time.I am not done fixing him yet,he still needs so much work.Possible one day he will be the peaceful place I would like him to be.But how could someone not at peace create something peaceful?
Never stop moving~
Run.Go,go,go..!Run.Jump.Glide.Fly.Run.Jump.Glide.Fly.Run!,thought Aiyana.Fire cracked and snapped around her, popping and sizzling.Every once in a while the fire would snap and lap at her dark gray fur.The pain was searing,it felt as though the fire was alive and burrowed into her flesh. Her fur would either burn off or singe, the skin underneath would change color to a bright red color. However, the power of the star fragment forced damaged cells to repair, and sent waves upon waves to heal her skin. With the skin was pink, fresh, and new,fur would immediately grow in.This process took all but a few seconds.
Cries of pain rang in her ears.Whimpers and whines, cries and sobs.Boom.Snap.A tree fell, its base burning to ash as the fire ate it all up.She could hear small animals running away, scurrying, going as fast as their small legs could carry.Through all this, she didnt stop running.Every so often, she would open her wings and glide, covering ground slightly faster. She followed the sound of pain and cries. She knew she was getting close when terribly burned, charred, black bodies of Kiamaras were on the ground. They were unmoving, dead, burned so badly they were unidentifiable. The saddest were the bodies of the pups.Killed before they had a chance to really live.
Now,a whine hit her ears so loud it was impossible to ignore. She saw that it came from an older Kiamara, burning, still alive. She cried and sobbed, and then screamed, one last scream. Her still burning body fell to the ground, limp and dead.Aiyana began to cry.In all this heat, her tears felt cold upon her face. Her tears sizzled and evaporated faster than they should have, but still found the time to streak down her face. She had stopped for too long. Her ears flicked around rapidly as she searched for new sounds.
Now,again, she began to run.Bodies were seen, but blackened, smoking,on fire.Dead, dead, dead, dead, and another one dead.Dropping like flies. In the distance, another tree fell.Where was the life?An eerie silence was in the forest, except for the snapping of the flames.Life!Where was the life! She shut her eyes and began to cry harder. Her brother was dying. All of the Kiamaras were dying. She,now, yet out a yelp of sadness, confused, somewhat angry, but mostly devastated.
Show me life, she thought,Please!Help me!I need to save them!Suddenly, her vision changed. It became clear.Smoke didn't blur her vision. The cracking of the fire, she didn't hear it.Silent.She could now hear the faintest cries of living creatures,if there were any.Her nose, now could be used for tracking again,as she no longer smelled smoke. She still saw the fire, and what a terrible sight it was.But the most helpful thing, was a pink glow.A pink glow from the goddess that only she could see.It was above a creature's heart, and it flickered whenever the heart would beat.Unbeating hearts had no pink light.Through the bright red and orange flames, there was one flicker.Just one.
But one was enough. The pink light was dim,but visible, and it flickered with the beat of its heart. She ran towards it,and when she found it,it was the flicker of life of a small pup.Gray, mostly, with flicks of blue here and there. It was mostly unmoving,it had two bad burns on its side and hind leg.It was unconscious, which she thought was fortunate,as it felt no pain then. She opened her maw,and ever so gently,as a mother would, grabbed the pup at the scruff.Immediately she lifted up her head, looking for a safe spot for the pup.
She began to run, quickly, swiftly. The pup swayed every so often, but she took great care not to injure him any further. She didn't want to ask for help. She had already been given help, from the goddess. She couldn't be greedy now.Not now.The Gods that created her wouldn't be pleased in that. But all these thoughts went down the drain, just at one sound.A whimper, from the pup.It was awake. He then cried out,in shock and in pain. Now she needed somewhere safe, she couldn't let him suffer.
Without even asking,a golden light appeared, bright and shining. It was a gift,a beautiful gift sent from heaven. She opened her wings, and stretched them out to their full length, and with one extremely powerful swipe, she took flight. The flight could only be short, because of her wings. But it didn't matter,it got her where she needed to be,as quick as possible. As she landed on the golden area, the light faded. She placed the pup down gently.A small stream filtered by.She then looked at the pup, first smiling, then in shock. The pink light. It was gone.Gone!
Aiyana licked the pup, trying to force it to live. Her tears kept flowing, and they fell down her cheeks, onto the pup.A small flicker of pure white sparked, and then went into the pup,but nothing happened. The power of the star,it did nothing. The pup was dead. She continued to cry,but it was no use.Her brother was dead. This pup,was dead.Kiamaras,dead.Everything was gone. She was meant to be a protector. And she failed.Suddenly, laughter was heard. The stream by her turned red with blood, the flames wrapped around her, choking her.The final thing she heard was a whisper, which said "This is your future,Aiyana".A deep, clear voice.
"Aaahh!"I screamed,at the top of my lungs. My eyes opened wide, breathing heavily.I swore I could smell smoke trapped in my fur.A dream,I thought, just a dream...or..a vision? Is that what is meant for me?I was scared now,but shrugged it off.I shook my head, and drifted back off to sleep.
Far,far away in the heavens, two voices were heard. One emotional, soft, yet when angry she screeched.Another, deep, clear, cold, filled with experience."Is this really what you have planned for her?"
"Of course,"The deep voice declared.Somewhere, far and away, the Gods were still alive. They weren't gone.Only a part of them were trapped in Aiyana, the rest somehow survived, and they had plans.Big plans.
