I have never played portal myself, but I still feel like I can connect with this Kia, Caden. When I first saw him, I fell in love with him instantly. I didn't know he was portal based at that point and I got scared of the art portion of the form because I, at the time, could barely draw a decent headshot let alone a full body, portal based drawing. But in a random burst of inspiration, I drew the picture and began this form. I guess what I'm trying to say is that My username is Clockwork Monster, and I want to adopt Caden because he is amazing and perfect and I feel a connection to him. So please take into consideration my form, despite the informality of the introduction piece as well as length and slight personality description.

My name is Caden. It means "Spirit of Battle" as well as "Companion." I am male, but I love my little companion cube. I can connect to the block despite it being an inanimate object. The cube was a fighter. It sticks with the player through thick and thin. It is even willing to sacrifice itself to save the player from the labs. I feel a connection to it despite how strange it may sound. Like the cube, I am a companion until the end. Through the good times and the bad. It's not just because of a desire to live up to my name, but instead it is a desire to protect. I want to have a friend I can be with through thick and thin. Someone I care about so deeply I'd be willing to die for them. But how often does that happen to a guy? Almost never. That is why I love portal and I envy the companion cube. It was lucky to have that relationship. I hope someday I can too be a the companion my name wants me to be.
