Story .:. Dawne Breaker was raised near a small village, where war constantly struck. Dawne's family was used to the common sounds of battle, but Dawne did not like the sound of steel against flesh, and the strong smell of blood that overid her senses. After three years of living in the forest surrounding the village, Dawne could take no more. She returned home and bowed her goodbyes to her family, and asked if any would follow. None were recalled to travel along with her, so she left alone to travel to someplace more haven-like. Finally, at the break of dawn, she trotted weakly over the mountainside and looked to the horizon, closing her eyes and allowing the cold air to seep into her fur, hearing the growl of the wind as it whipped by. Dawne had nodded her head approvingly, knowing this was her new home. As she tried to walk carefully down the mountain, she was alerted by many sounds she had not heard before and became both curious and cautious. She investigated the land thoroughly, and found many friends. Although none were of her species. To this day she wanders around her home, in search of someone, to finally feel love, protection and comfort in once again.
